Fulham 1.65

Nottingham Forest 1.75
£57 win treble.

Bellatrixsa 1:00 Exeter 7/2. Taking an alarming walk in the market (6/4 out to 7/2), so that might be a negative, but on form is solid. Clearly handles conditions well and looks built to carry weight. Big drop in trip today but the emphasis is still going to be on stamina on this ground, and looks to outclass these.
Got that wrong!
-
I'd have been pulling my hair out there! Fulham with at least 6 chances to make it 3-0 then concede.
-
Not had a bet, was tempted by Fulham on the handicap as they should smash Peterborough. Fulham -2 is 1.3/1 which is fair enough but think I'm just observing tonight.
-
Billaway looking rock solid, can't see it being 10/3 on the day.
Any more thoughts on Jett? Will he be suited by this test? He got a RPR of 152 back in December suggesting he retains lots of his ability and would put him right there. Might be worth a saver.
Can't have Bob and Co with Maxwell riding, probably had his chance last year.
-
Boro look worth a bet at 7/5 against WBA. Bruce has yet to make a positive impact and the squad just looks very short of flair and creativity. Boro have been in good form and deserved more last time reading the report. Look an odds on chance to me.

Had to have a few quid on Waiting Patiently (40/1). One of my fav chasers of the last 5 years or so, can forget his last run on unsuitable ground. Low mileage 11 year old might have enough left to get involved in his favoured conditions on only 2nd run for new yard.
Never looked happy there.

Sat here wondering how many of these odds on and shorties are going to get beat and if so what opportunities there are. a smart man would leave well alone, i wish i was a smart man.
Sat here wishing I'd done some accas ?

Nice write ups, agree with nearly all that, except I am going Luton to win. Blackburn have been worse than their results suggest lately, should have lost to Cardiff and Boro and somehow won both of them! Hopefully their luck runs out today and Luton are in good form themselves 17/11 looks a good price.
Also done an acca with Luton, Fulham, Bournemouth, QPR and Boro which came out at around 18/1.

Poldark Cross 1:48 Uttox (5/2 SBK). Plenty of promise last time at Sedgefield, jumping well. Looks to be on a decent mark on 113 (finished 5.5L 2nd to a horse now rated 136 on hurdles debut). Looks to have a solid chance to get his first win.
Shocker, never travelling

Interesting write up as ever. Agree that Graystone might struggle up the hill (ragged late on last twice). Message Personnel could improve if jumping better.
I've backed Fleurman who looks made for this kind of test and gets a useful 7lbs from the top 2.
-
Haseef 7:30 Southwell (10/1 SBK). Just a very small bet on this one as he might do better 2nd run back after a long absence after showing the odd glimpse of ability as a 2 year old.
Knew my fate pretty early there! Slowly away again, did stay on but was never going to land a blow. Will probably win a race buy not with my money on ?

Middlesbrough to beat Blackburn 23/12 (SBK). Blackburn have gone off the boil in the last few games and are without their goal scorer Ben Brereton Diaz, while Middlesbrough have been in great form since Wilder took over.

Kodi Gold 1.10 Lingfield. Well backed just before the off here last time over 6f, was slowly away and only really got going entering the straight but could never quite get there. Extra furlong should suit and clearly in good form, 11/4 seems pretty fair to me.
Final Nudge 3:00 Sandown. This could be a real slog given the weather forecast! Aso obviously has a touch of class, but I think it would take a big performance to give weight all round. Final Nudge stays all day and gets a very useful 12lb from Aso and can grind him down. 7/2 from 6/1 already.
Both found one too good, pretty frustrating but there you go ?
-
Wonder if Brian Hughes went a little too soon last time? Looks the obvious one to me as proven on the ground and track, but not getting involved at 11/10.
-
La Ligerien 2.50 Chepstow. I thought he ran with some promise at Doncaster before fading 2 out, made a couple of bad errors which didn't help. Drop back in trip makes sense, goes well on heavy and likes forcing the pace which often suits at Chepstow. Well handicapped off 112 today, peak hurdles rating of 137. Can't see why he shouldn't run well today at 14/1 (bet365).
Wins well ? jumped way better, runner up ready to win too.

Karl Philippe 1:45 Ascot (5/1). Looked a sure fire future winner on chase debut at Carlisle, jumping boldly in the main. The winner that day went in again next time 10lb higher.
Bad run ?

Was thinking -4 on the Man City handicap! They have picked their strongest team and they don't relent when they are on top and 10/3 with Skybet looks a fair punt for a tonking.
