Done a double with Norwich and Blackburn @ just over 5/2.
Norwich have generally been improved from the start of the season, but got physically bullied by Watford in what was probably their worst performance of the season (obviously I did a single on them!), but they really should have won against QPR and I expect them to get back on track today.
Birmingham looked really bad against Forest and it was depressing that we had an off game when failing to beat them! Derby thumped them 4-0 after that and Blackburn should be able to get a needed win.

Backed Norwich to win at Watford tonight @7/4. Top of the league and in great form while Watford have stuttered and I think should be a fair bit lower in the table.

Wow, very disappointing from Cyrname. Very clever from Bryony!

Backed Cyrname at 5/2, hopefully he blitzes them and proves last year's run all wrong.

I'll be looking down the weights, every pound will count in the conditions!

1.45 Uttoxeter - 3pts win Duhallow Lad @ 9/4
Is well handicapped and will relish today's conditions which I think is likely to be more the case for him than his market rival. Looks sure to run his race and I'd be surprised and disappointed if he can't land the prize.
Spot on Rupert, thanks for sharing
wow 11/1 winner as well, unfortunately I didn't follow that one!

Not sure how Villa haven't won there, so many good situations...probably overthinking things, sometimes just hit the ball hard towards the goal!

Backed Fiddlerontheroof (Ascot 3:05) 5/2 with Bet365. Will relish these conditions. Not done much wrong this season but really needs it nice and soft.
Well backed, jumped and travelled but Allart just too good ?

I don't think Forest have been quite as bad as our form suggests, we've had a very tough fixture list and the games against Swansea and Watford could have been wins. We are struggling to create chances though, if Knockaert wasn't suspended I'd back us at 7/5 as we desperately need a win and Wednesday seem badly out of form themselves. I will probably still have a small bet if my horse wins.
Brentford aren't quite as good as last season but I still think they are better than Watford and I'll take some 2/1 about the away win.

Seems to have come in with most firms but I just got some 20/1 ew with Coral.
Actually think I got the last of the 20/1, 14's now ?

Forest 3.7
Bournemouth 1.65
£10 win double

Iconic Muddle (1.57 Warwick) looked one to follow when a well backed runner up at Newbury last season, won a penalty kick after that at Plumpton. Likes soft ground and should be well handicapped off 118 on chase debut here. Pretty obvious chance if he takes to fences and I've taken some 7/2.
Jumped slowly but the winner did it very easily anyway ?

Swansea pitch looks a bit ropey!
-
I had thought Stoke looked a bit big, probably accounting for all those injuries, will avoid!

Master Tommytucker absolutely clouted one at Newton Abbott and probably just needed the run, so I'm not taking that form too literally. Not sure Cheltenham is his track though.

I am going to take a bit of a flyer with Getaway Flyer in the 2.17 at Uttoxeter. On rules form he wouldn't have an obvious chance, but it is her pointing form which means she could be well handicapped off a mark of 83. Last year she finished 2nd in a maiden to Premier Magic and I will talk about that horse when I get round to updating my Road To The Cheltenham Foxhunter thread this week which tells you how good that horse is. A week later she won a maiden beating Getaround who is won off 135 at Newcastle recently. She was then off until this February when she won her Restricted over 2m4f, the same trip as her maiden win. She then was well beaten in an Intermediate at Didmarton where it looked like she didn't really stay 3m. Last month she ran in a couple of maiden hurdles and I accept there wasn't a great deal of promise in them, but I suspect she was there to get handicapped. Soft ground is a bit of an unknown but when winning in February the ground was described as holding. The first time tongue-tie catches the eye as well. She clearly is unlikely to be as good as the horse she beat in her maiden, but at the same time her pointing efforts suggest she is much better than an 83 horse. This is a really weak contest as well so at a current top price of 35/1 with 5 places on offer she is worth backing.
Getaway Flyer @ 35/1 with Betfair (5 places)
Opening price last night 50/1, now best 10/1 with bet 365!

Damn, didn't realise Bournemouth were early KO, just decided to back them and it's bloody half time and they're 2-0 up ?

I picked the wrong day to go for a walk instead of backing Rupert's selections!

Got a logic defying feeling that Forest might win today so had a small win bet at 5/2 and a small speculative treble on Forest, Norwich and Blackburn @ 15/1. Small stakes only.

Just looking at Leo's Luckyman, he was actually backed on debut 12/1 into 9/2, so must have shown something at home!
