Well done, jockey never moved a muscle!

I was looking at Farocco too Rupert, should be competitive off this kind of mark (especially judged on his 2nd at Perth).
or he could run like a drain

Interesting little race, I'd have to favour the Nicholls runner, big hurdles rating and the only one with a recent run. They love to mop up races like this, surprised he's not fav. But a race to watch for me I think.

Interesting money for Robin Gold in the 1:55 Perth, who would not be an obvious one on recent form. 10/1 into 7/2, yard know how to land a gamble so might be worth following.

Sword of Fate a non runner which is probably lucky if they're getting the same rain as here!

Just watched the replay, painful on Royal Brave! Next time.

3:05 Perth Sword of Fate (12/1 bet365) backed this one early as I'm out until late, might well be bigger available later. Been in the tracker for a while as it's dropped stones in the weights. Wasn't fit on reappearance at Perth, then won at Cartmel (still don't think he was that fit!). Then last time would have been too far on softish ground. 2m on decent ground is ideal and hopefully it will continue to dry out tomorrow. Maybe he just isn't that good any more but I'll give him a chance at a decent price.

I prefer Forest at 6/4. Think we have bought well, just a case of how long it takes for us to gel, but it would be a shame to start too slowly as our opening fixtures seem decent.

4:40 Kelso. An Fear Ciuin (20/1). Looks a competitive race but no reason why this one shouldn't run well at a big price. Had a couple of cracking efforts over course and distance last autumn and only 2lbs higher here (and won 3lb higher than this over hurdles).
-
3:25 Beverley El Naseri (20/1). Definitely a bit of a punt given his underwhelming 3 year old form. But had some decent efforts at 2 (fast finishing neck defeat to Plymouth Rock on debut, who won the other day off 74), shaped liked this kind of trip will be what he needs and a 51 break might have freshened him up. So I'm risking a small bet at a big price in a wide open race.

Crikey, well done! A few big prices landed recently on here!

I like Leapaway in the 5:15 Hexham (9/4 general). Nice genuine hurdler, probably just needed the Stratford run on chase debut and was a shade disappointing at Newton Abbot but it can be hard to make up ground there. This looks slightly easier and should be nice and fit now. Fav ran well last time but looks beatable again.

Seconditis the most painful condition in racing, a winner is the only cure ?

3:05 Uttox. Longhouse Sale couldn't have been much more impressive last time, jumping like a buck winning easily. Could be a good race with The Butcher Said who was also impressive on his chase debut and gets 6lb but the Skelton horse looks one to follow. 13/8 now but has already drifted a bit so I think I'm waiting until the morning to bet.

I don't think he's quirky, just wasn't himself first couple of runs this year.
-
Best horse finished 2nd though, misjudged ride from Doyle.
-
And a casual 22/1 winner to end ? (didn't follow that one unfortunately).
-
Wow great start Rupert! Thought he was going to be unlucky when checked in his run. Nice drift to 10/1!
