    I've had a couple of double odds single returns which is the value option of the bet. It's nice to see how much I might win when I place the bet !

    Only £1.50 a go so no harm done, as you say the occasional big win will come along every now and again. First one has won today so perhaps today is the day.

    I will do a full analysis at the end of December but the results for November were actually better than expected.

    I've performed a detailed analysis for November and this continues to be profitable, with an AE of 1.07. There were 220 winners from 1,790 runners. However at level stakes there was a loss of 299 points so you would have been advised to avoid the longer odds. Those at forecast odds above 11/1 returned 19 wins from 784 selections and a loss of 437 points. Those at shorter odds recorded 200 winners from 1,004 runners and a profit of 138 points.

    The returns for those races where there is only 1 selection are even better, with an AE of 1.13. Again it would have been better to stick with those at shorter odds. Those at odds less than 8/1 returned 32 wins from 91 selections and a profit of 32 points compared to those at longer odds which recorded 3 wins from 97 selections and a loss of 72 points.

    Having finally managed to win a PL prize I feel a little embarassed taking the winnings so I have decided to donate them to the player who shows the highest annual profit this calendar year. This is currently @kenisbusywith £122 followed by @internetmailswith £112.

    Attached is a list of all those who have commendably achieved a profit so far this year. Personally I think this is a truer test of ability than the monthly competitions.

    2 losers and 2 NRs.

    A quick question, with the 2 NRs I was expecting £1.20 back from my investment of £1.50 as only the double and 2 singles were still valid. It's not a big deal but is my logic wrong somewhere (I don't make these type of bets very often).
