Ok guys, I will be able to run this for a month without many problems, feel sufficiently healthy to do it to. Full rules will be posted prior to the event, but basically, I have selected 3 Defenders from each nation, 3 Midfielders from each nation and 3 strikers from each nation. All you have to do is post your selections as follows DF 1-96 DF 1-96 MF 1-96 MF 1-96 FW 1-96 FW 1-96 Defenders will score points for Clean Sheets, Tackles Made and Goals Scored. Midfielders will score points for Tackles Made and Goals Scored. Forwards will score goals for Goals Scored. All 3 will score points for being on winning side and assists. Full points system to be posted prior to the start along with full lists of selections. All you have to do is what I said above, select 2 DF'S, 2MF'S and 2 FW's. Re: Top Player Comp (World Cup) Ok. I will allow this to stay open until 2pm, and then it will be closed for entries and all will be revealed. This will be the scoring system used.

Appearance 1
Clean Sheet for any player 1
Defender Making a Tackle 1
Defender Scoring a Goal 3
Midfielder Making a Tackle 2
Midfielder Scoring a Goal 2
Attacker Making a Tackle 3
Attacker Scoring a Goal 1
Additional Goals per game +2 Bonus
Player Team WINS 2
Any player making an assist 1
Yellow Card -1
Red Card -2
BONUS TO BE ADDED AT END
Team make Round 2 2
Team Make ¼ Finals 4
Team Make Semi Finals 7
Winners 11
All the stats etc... will be revealed after 2pm but before the kick off in S. Africa.

.. sorry i've never played this game before. What are the ratings based on? Newspaper or?
Using opta stats for correct info on tackles made etc.... Will update league table later this afternoon when not feeling so sickly and then at the end of the group phase will post full stats. One slight change I have made is I have "halved" the points available for tackles made, as too much emphasis on it, as it is a commion occurence, and therefore the goals are decondary to tackles made.
