bowles10
Re: Flat season Horses to watch out for! Dandy Man put up a superb display to win the King Of Beers Stakes at the Curragh. Con Collins' Palace House Stakes winner, fourth behind Takeover Target in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, showed a clinical turn of foot to win the Listed prize at odds of 5-4. Pat Shanahan covered long-time leader Osterhase's every move before edging into the lead shortly after the one-furlong pole. Dandy Man never looked like losing from then on and impressively stretched clear to win with a length in hand of his nearest rival. Benbaun missed the break but stayed on in good style to finish second, while Osterhase also stuck to his guns to take third place. A SERIOUSLY FAST HORSE - FOLLOW FOR REST OF SEASON. Doesn't seem too well fancied but it has same jockey as last time out when she won on it. It's up 6 lbs but she claims 7lbs back and it's a course and distance winner. I'd expect a decent price and might go ew on it.

Luberon was impressive under Darley and looked different class to the field it trounced. Seems to be improving with every run and well worth keeping an eye on. Medicine Path also from Friday looked very good going to post, won well and should improve. Josie Marcus today totally dominated the rest of the horses and won easily, although it might not have beaten much. Nosedas horse and well worth another look, picked up well last furlong and won going away.

mowgli77
Re: Flat season Horses to watch out for! One to watch - TAWAAFUD Ran at Pontefract on Sunday. Was given a poor ride by Martin Dwyer and if it had raced closer to the pace it would probably have won. He sat it out the back and turning for home had to ask it to quicken through horses. It picked up but the front 2 had already kicked clear. It has form from when it finished behind Princess Nada, Caressed and Heather Moor earlier in the season. If raced like a drop in horse should be just behind the leaders it will have a very good chance next time out.

Mighty Magyar
Re: Flat season Horses to watch out for! Would like to suggest a few from today to keep on your side. Air Biscuit- Trainer thinks he is the type to run up a sequence. Judging by the way he won under an apprentice today, more to come. Count Ceprano- Recieved good paddock reports before the race. In behind running green, but ran on well at the end. Steam Cuisine- Very easy winner. Diggs Lane- unplaced in 3 maiden runs before today. Was told to back it ew today. Jockey couldnt get it into a position (typical at Wolves). But was a very strong finisher. Maybe over a bit further will do the trick. Hope my ramblings will be of use.
