Re: Capital One Cup > 5th - 7th August Exeter look too big to beat us, our record is shocking in this comp at this round. We often lose at home to 3rd tier opposition so going to Exeter looks even harder. It doesnt matter who the boss is, we just seem to get knocked out in this round. I can see a few changes from saturdays team and will be interested to see how we approach it. Never back against my team but my advice is to be careful if you think we are a good bet

Re: England > Antepost > Conference Premier League 2013/2014 went to Woking v QPR EDS team tonight which ended 2-2, a good run out for Woking against a fair QPR team which fielded Max Ehmer at Centre half who may break into the 1st team at some point. Woking 2-1 up at the break thanks to a free kick and penalty. From what i saw Woking will definitely get results this season against any opposition and i think its how they fare with injuries as to how they do> Goals may be their problem with frontman Sole only just returning after a season long injury. McCallum looks a good buy and will score a few from set pieces A decent turn out also at around 950 attendance. Positives for QPR were Ehmer at Centre half, Sutherland in midfield and Hitchcock up front. All 3 may break into Harry's squad this season if there are any injuries to key players. Apparently Adel Taraabt was there watching but i didnt see him. Dave Beasant was there to see his son Sam come on as sub 2nd half for Woking.

Brown Panther was impressive on step up to 2m and pleased for Kingscote also who is maturing into a good jockey.

Re: Championship 2013/14 > Relegation a couple in here for me.... my heart says it cannot happen but it did to Wolves last year and Blackburn were close also, so my beloved QPR have to be a small interest at such a big price as it could still go wrong for the team that has high wages and players still unable to play as the manager tries to move them on. I expect if we get a bad start, arry will walk so 40/1 Betvictor may be worth just a small bet. Bournemouth @ 12/1 Betvictor also stands out for me. Yes they did well last season but i think they will get found out in this league. Manager is decent and deserves a better club however he returned to Bournemouth so have to respect that.

Re: England > Antepost > Conference Premier League 2013/2014 Wokings pre season should not go unnoticed, won at home to Bournemouth 2-1 the day before bournemouth faced Real Madrid, so not sure about the level of opposition but its still a scalp and then thy beat Gillingham 1st X1 last saturday 3-0. I may pop down there on Friday night to see them face QPR's EDS team who will be a fair test although 2 or 3 of the EDS team may be in the squad to face Sheff weds on Saturday Woking could surprise a few this season and i may take a look at some decent match prices during the season especially when the pitch cuts up !! Although they re-laid it over the pre season, the rain gets into the ground and i assume Hayes are sharing again this year?

Was unlucky not to break its duck LTO at Lingfield and Oriel doesnt look straight forward although ran in the Queen Mary was well beaten. 3/1 approx 7.00 Soaring spirits - drops down the handicap and has been running well on the polytrack so hoping it will transfer to turf as this race isnt very good and possibly only the favourite to hold off this time. 7.30 Night trade - havent found many outsiders to back this season here but Night Trade could spring a surprise under Phillip Prince claiming 5lbs. Won at Goodwood earlier in the season off this mark and often wins this time of year. Looks a big price at 25's 8.00 Significant move - been given another opportunity to win here again after 2 victories as only handed a 3lb rise. all 1pt win singles
