Five draws last weekend for those of you that backed that outcome on your old school pools sheets! Some very tricky ties this week. @FCNA and @Pep004, can Nantes really put Nice's title hopes on the back burner with a win this weekend at home?

@michaelwinsall, good to see a lurker getting involved in posting to show appreciation for a tipster. Do you have any bets you're placing that you want to share this week on the Ligue 1 games?

@rangers234, a lovely little tip with the Lyon handicap. They ran out comfortable winners. What are you backing this weekend?

@Icongene, that Caen versus Nice punt was a tall order but you got one side's score correct, it's just the other that let you down. What are you betting here?

@sajtion, you correctly backed Marseille to win but the BTTS let you down. What are your thoughts on this weekend's games?

@DrBetter, your in-depth tips and thinking is a joy to read each week. Give us your thoughts on these games!

What will you be betting this week, @Pep004?

@Icongene, some intriguing picks there. I can't rule Nice out. They keep on fighting back when we expect them to wilter. I wouldn't be surprised to see them bounce back again this weekend!

Not sure yet, but I will start the round with Metz.

Yeah, decent price. Bastia have thrown spanners into the works a bit this season so we shall see. I know it's not the most advisable bet but I'm being drawn to Nancy. I was going to back Lorient due to Nancy's awful form but then I thought "that's the exact sort of game that would screw me". It's madness but I'm tempted to go with my gut.

Even if Lorient is not far from me.. I just don't know what's happening there.. their team is not as bad as it looks on table. Few rounds ago I was writing that they will avoid relegation, but looks that it will be really hard. Luckily Nantes changed coach early enough, not to be in this mess down there. I am pretty sure that with Girard, they would be... Anyway, Nancy is among poor teams, but they have some experienced guys (Pedretti, Diarra) while in attack they can rely on Dia. All in all team buildup is disaster, but know how to win even if they are playing shity. I left stadium after 75 minutes in match between Nantes and Nancy, because I was just fed up. :D Nantes playing (till 1-0), preparing chances etc. and than two mistakes, two goals for Nancy and it was enough. It was disaster kind of match, totally undeserved win, but as said.. they are capable to do it. I sincerely hope that Lorient will beat them, but.. their defence is that bad, that one 3rd league team could score to them easily.. so maybe bts, over 2,5 for me in this match. But IMO Lorient will need to change something if they wants to stay in the league.. what exactly? I don't know. They bought Peybernes from Bastia in winter transfer window, and he was at least 50% guilty for most of the goals they conceded...

It's true that Metz didn't win in last 5 matches, but they are not playing as bad as Bastia. They are on unbeaten run on St. Symphorien since 23th of October, when they lost against Nice. After that they have 3 wins and 5 draws. They've beaten Montpellier, Marseille and Dijon, and all of those teams are better than Bastia in regular conditions. Right now, Bastia is far from regular conditions, and putting all the hopes on one player (St. Maximine) won't be enough in my opinioin... As written above, I am going with Metz this time. Whole analysis here.

Lille has 9 to 14 goal goal at home, Marseille away has 10 to 14 over 2,5 and the same in Goal goal away, the two groups as easily score so easily accept the goal, today, I expect to Score both groups and confirmed the goals
OSC LILLE vs OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE @@ Both team to score, odds 1.80

First thoughts:

Nantes look nice here on a DnB. I have a feeling that last week has maybe finished Nice and they don't travel great.

BTTS in Bordeaux v Montpelier too seems a no brainer.

I will probably look to take Toulouse also.

St Etienne look in trouble so maybe Dijon +1 (ah) might be a good shout.

I am totally agree with you.

Hi guys, first of all, glad to see french teams succeed in european cups after the joke in Barcelone. Great hopes for both Lyon and Monaco.

PSG vs Lyon Over and BTS :ok

On fire ! This is for Lyon obviously. So to my mind, it will be an open match with goals, Stake is great for both teams.

TFC vs Rennes Under and draw :ok

Boring end of season for htis teams ? Sure for me. With two specialists of draw and two teams not in a great mood, result is predictable.

Bordeaux vs MHSC Home Win :ok

MHSC is quite safe, Bordeaux playes for Europa League. Motivation will be different and after losing at home against a convincing team of Nantes, MHSC may be in doubt. Bordeaux at home is able to do something as their last result show.

Caen vs Monaco Over, away win :ok

Monaco will be champion for me, President said this year "this is our main goal". The best european attack will destroy Caen.

Too late but I'm pretty sure that Nantes will beat Nice this afternoon. Too much missing players for Nice and not efficient away from home. Nantes is angry ! Come On !:hope

Grand chelem comme on dit chez nous :cigar
