Taking just one tomorrow, Wawrinka to beat Del Potro. As much as I like the Argentinian, he's yet to beat a player of Wawrinka's class in this season and I also believe that Wawrinka will be able to work with Del Potro's poor backhand. Unless Del Potro serves out of his skin, Wawrinka will take this comfortably. Full preview here: http://punts.pl/pEo4V1 Is that match on Friday? That is just a round two match, yeah? Yes, it's a R2 match and they did schedule it for Friday in the end alongside a few other R2 matches (as some of the R1 matches in those parts of the draw haven't been played yet). four-leaf
Feliciano Lopez (-2.5 sets) to beat Fabio Fognini for a 6/10 stake at 2.66 with Pinnaclesports Feliciano did beat Fabio in US open in straight sets last season so I'm going to go for the same to happen on an even faster surface that favors Feliciano heavily. Fognini just had a five set match against another clay specialist in Federico Delbonis and based on the fact that clay is Fabios best surface I think I'll go for Feliciano to win this in straights. four-leaf
John Isner (-2.5 sets) to beat Matthew Barton for a 8/10 stake at 1.68 with Pinnaclesports I just don't see how Matthew can have a chance in this one. He is ranked 248 and will go a bit higher after Wimbledon but in this match his lack of experience spells doom for him. He will eventually be broken at some point by Big John and will have huge problems in any possible tie-break. He will have to play the tennis of his life or more. He had problems against another big server in Albano Olivetti who's game when not serving is like an amateurs and this is a too big step up for him. Matthew is 11-5 in futures on grass with 1 title and 0-1 on challenger tour on grass. He is a 24 year old aussie and can play on grass just like most other aussies but he faces one of the best grass court players on tour (A tour which Matthew never has played on) with a serve that bites really well on grass. He qualified for Wimbledon and had a lucky draw facing another qualifier in his grand slam debut. He is most likely not really going to have a chance here even if he manage to make it to a tie-break. four-leaf
Nick Kyrgios/Dustin Brown over 34.5 games for a 5/10 stake at 1.76 with Pinnaclesports It's likely to see a match like this to go over 34.5 games since Dustin has a pretty good game for grass and it's his favourite surface too. I just don't think Dustin will get destroyed here. He can defenitely put up a show. With Nicks big serve and forehand he can hold serve easily and same goes for Dustin who has his own big serve and forehand. This bet would be won with a 7-6 7-5 6-4 win for Nick. I think this feels like a bigger risk then taking Feliciano Lopez to win in straight sets even though the price is bigger. Anyway if Dustin steals a set here this bet is most likely gonna be won. Feels like it's gonna be a small margin of error on this bet but it might just work. CzechPunter
CzechPunter
Back N.Kyrgios/D.Brown - Over 34.5 games for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Bet365 Back Steve Johnson to beat Grigor Dimitrov for a 7/10 stake at 2.30 with Bet365 Brown should make it close against Kyrgios imo, he's a worse match-up for the Australian than Stepanek on this surface. I also like Johnson as the underdog against Dimitrov, as the guy is on a massive roll at the moment, while Dimitrov hasn't been all that impressive lately. He did beat Simon, but that's not a big achievement nowadays. Full preview here: http://punts.pl/rCwToi nickel1 and four-leaf
owenclass
Steve Johnson vs Grigor Dimitrov Over 41.5 games 10/11 paddy power This match will go all the way as Dimitrov is slowly getting to his best and his opponent is playing fantastic on this surface so expect a few tie breaks and breaks of serve as this match is going to be a long one Edited July 1, 2016 by owenclass
janekda
Lisicky - Shvedova 3.50 H2H 3:3 Last 12 months 15-20 : 33:27 On grass it could be different but I think Sabine has had last 12 months worse in general than previous years. I saw her match with Stosur. It looked as easy win and it was. But she had, as usual, very riski play on lines and on that match it went on lines. I can imagine her hits a few inches outside. Slava can play with Sabine on grass and for me fair odd is about 2.6. Slava is not so successfull on grass surprisingly. It is her the worst surface with one exception - Wimbledon. CzechPunter
Wawrinka gifted the win to Del Potro today. 50 unforced errors over four sets? Not the recipe for success I'm afraid.
CzechPunter
Back Andy Murray (-8.5) to beat John Millman for a 7/10 stake at 1.72 with Skybet Not a massive fan of big handicaps, but this should come in much more often than not given what I've seen from both recently. Millman lost 2-6 2-6 against Johnson and he even could've lost against the clay court specialist Montanes in the first round, so Murray should have no issues here - unless he has one of his off-days, that is. Torque
Novak Djokovic to beat Sam Querrey @ 1.67 Sportingbet (1 pt) I'm on Djokovic in the outright market so the situation against Querrey is slightly concerning, but the truth is we've been here before. Djokovic was in exactly the same situation last year at this tournament against Anderson - two sets down and staring down the barrel. Can the Serb do what he did then and win three nil from here and thus make the next round? I think so. The break will give him a chance to look at what's gone wrong so far and what he needs to do to turn things around, whilst for Querrey the break gives him a chance to think about how he's so close to a massive win which I don't think will be helpful for him. If the winning line does come into view I expect the American to crumble and I think that it will be Djokovic that will win the most important point in all tennis matches - the last one. Things always have a real funny way of working out against the expected perhaps by some kind of weird supernatural intervention most times. Simply put, I would more than likely expect Djokovic to come back and win from such an abyss, but now it's been mentioned in a couple of places expect Querrey to win. It was same with Barton every ones no hoped. He covered the handicap with ease. Let's see what happens. Might just be the right time to back Federer as he begins to creep in. owenclass
Daniela Cibulkova vs Eugenie Bouchard Over 21.5 games 4/5 games Well one of these form players will have to leave so this is going to go all the way hopefully to a third set and these two are capable of winning a set with Bouchard just edge it as she is getting back to her best
enano21
Berdych to Semi Final @4.00 Marathonbet Massive odds imho. I liked his performances against Dodig and Becker. He will be favourite both on third round against Zverev/Youzhny winner and on quarter finals againts Del Potro or Tomic. Tomic is a player who Berdych was able to beat twice in recent years and Del Potro will be exhausted on further rounds. I know he has not been on fire during the year and before Wimbledon but he should see his chance to go to the final and will do whatever it takes. newmoldo
Hi:) Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. What do you think about Tsonga beating Isner @ 1.72. Isner struggled with Barton yesterday, while Tsonga dismantled Monaco. Jo is way more comfortable on grass than John, but at times he can struggle against big servers. CzechPunter
Back Tomas Berdych (-1.5 sets) to beat Alexander Zverev for a 7/10 stake at 1.66 with Paddy Power Back Svetlana Kuznetsova to beat Sloane Stephens for a 7/10 stake at 1.75 with BetVictor Taking these two for tomorrow - Zverev has looked very shaky so far, so a focused performance from Berdych should be way too strong for him, while I also expect Kuznetsova to outplay Stephens given that the American hasn't done all that much lately. four-leaf
Czech what do you think about Big Johns chances today? Can he take the fourth set? Only a double fault made him lose the third set tb.
four-leaf
It's 3-1 head to head for Big John against Jo and Big John did'nt struggle against Matthew Barton. It was just the way it was supposed to be. Serve serve and more serve. A usual day at the office for him although Barton served for the third set it does'nt matter in the next match. New match and new opportunities. I think Big John might just get some chances on the Jo serve and steal a break in the fourth set and that means he serves it home. CzechPunter
four-leaf
Has Jo ever won a grass court title? No is the simple answer. Big John has won Newport twice. But that alone does'nt mean Big John will beat Jo today but I see Big John as the better server of the two and it should be decisive on the most important points. four-leaf
Ekaterina Makarova (-1.5 sets) to beat Elena Vesnina for a 7/10 stake at 2.25 with Bet365 Ekaterina hasn't lost a set to Elena since 2004 and their head-to-head goes back a long way. Between 2008 and 2015 Ekaterina has won 6 times in straight sets so I think it goes the same way now. Edit: I mean look at the way Ekaterina outclassed Barbora Strycova. She was dictating everything in that match. I'm confident about her doing the same to Elena. And btw Elena had some troubles taking out qualifier Julia Boserup who only had some luck in her draw to get to the third round with Bencic who retired. The match went a bit too close when considering that Julia Boserup never been ranked higher then 174 and now at 225. CzechPunter
Back R.Federer/S.Johnson - Over 3.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Paddy Power Back Nicolas Mahut to beat Sam Querrey for a 7/10 stake at 1.70 with BetVictor Back Tomas Berdych (-5.5) to beat Jiri Vesely for a 7/10 stake at 1.91 with Skybet Federer not that great so far, I think that Johnson will test him in his current form. Mahut should be too strong for Querrey, as we all know how problematic big wins can be in the short term (and Mahut has a 2-0 record against the American, with both matches being recent). Finally, I also fancy Berdych to have no issues against Vesely - it's never easy to face one's idol, after all. CzechPunter
Back Yaroslava Shvedova to beat Lucie Safarova for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power Back Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (+1.5 sets) to beat Coco Vandeweghe for a 7/10 stake at 2.00 with Paddy Power Safarova is lucky to still be here, while Shvedova has recorded three good wins, so it's only logical to back her as the underdog here. I also fancy Pavlyuchenkova to get something off Vandeweghe, as she's played herself into a really good form in this event and as she should like the underdog position that will allow her to swing freely. four-leaf
Big stake on this fourfold for me: Madison Keys to beat Simona Halep, Yaroslava Shvedova to beat Lucie Safarova, Federer/Johnson over 35.5 games, Ekaterina Makarova to beat Elena Vesnina in straight sets. Torque
Andy Murray to win Wimbledon @ 2.00 Unibet (1 pt) Having been happy to back Djokovic at odds-on before a ball had even been hit, I'm more than happy to back Murray at even money now we're down to the last 16 and the defending champion has exited the tournament. Murray next plays Kyrgios and I don't think the Australian is ready to beat him at a tournament like this yet, and after that he will play either Gasquet or Tsonga in the last 8 and he has a good record against both. He could face Berdych in the last four and possibly Federer in the final, but I would favour him against Berdych on a fast surface and given the injury problems that Federer has had this year it's hard to see the Swiss beating Murray across five sets.
