York 2:30 El Beau @ 20/1 bet365 e/w thanks El Beau......from John Quinn yard the 4 has been hurling as well this year before given a break from March till August when it reappeared 17 days ago at Hamilton 9f GS when he Finished 5 lengths behind First Sargeant which would have been a tough prep race for today to see how much work to be done on him after layoff, He's been a winner at 1m on soft ground; has also won two hurdles latest NH win was in November last year , The yard bring Joe Doyle claiming 3lbs back into ride again as the horse was staying on in last race and the extra furlong and flatter track may suit him for big run

5.10 York: Class 4 Apprentice Handicap, 1m 4f His most recent Newmarket performance was too bad to be true, so one may forgive Endless Credit that poor run and better judge him on his excellent runner-up performances before. If he could run to that sort of form, he'll be in with a big chance, given that he has the perfect draw for his positive running style. A mark off 69 seems high enough, though; yet seen in the contest of the jockey booking, seems less of a problem. Young Fitzpatrick claims valuable 5lb and is very much worth every single pound. He's riding out of his skin at the moment and is clearly a talented young jockey - that's a bonus in this type of race. Endless Credit @ 14/1 VC

York 2.00 - Torment - win at 16/1 bog bet365 7f nursery My selection looks a big price for a Hannon runner making his nursery debut Won first time out at Windsor then ran in a couple of small field novice and listed races which didn't appear to suit him. He looks like a galloper and both those races were slowly run and turned into sprint finishes. Dropping to 6f last time didn't look right either. Back at 7F today and in a field which should go along at a decent clip he might reveal his initial promise. I can see him running on late with the horses up front fading. Knowing my luck he'll be a fast finishing second and be in front a yard after the line......... The horses he's been running against in his last 2 starts have been Listed level and this might be considered a drop in class.

2.30 YORK EL BEAU @ 22/1 Betvictor Decent run after 5 months off at Hamilton, prior to that had been running well over the hurdles. Only 4yo and could still be on the upgrade on the flat. Has run plenty of good races off this mark and Payne takes off a useful 3lb. Quinn's horses have been running well in a month that he historically does well in.

Y2.30 Eurystheus e/w 25/1 Stan James There's been a bit of money for this top weight today and the horse won the last time it encountered similar ground to todays. That win was off a mark of 79 in a class 4 and the horse has mainly raced at a higher grade since that win. Back in class 4 now with the ground to suit, this previous course winner could go close at a decent price.

4.30 fontwell bobonyx is interesting back chasing, as no chance on hurdles form, but a shout on chase form. a mark of 61 is low, and with the jockey taking off another 7lb, its a very very light weight. trip and ground no concern and could go very close today. 1pt win 12/1 stan james bog
