@thfc new stadium looks amazing mate. The removable grass pitch is something else. Should be an interesting game tonight. I just hope the occasion doesn't get the better of Spurs! Hopefully you will win 10-0, and can push Palace to that last relegation spot

Going to take a chance on spurs to win 1-0 tonight.  My only real reasoning is that this has been the result in the last 5 PL meetings between the two sides so why not again tonight?!
Obviously this is the first game at the new stadium. Who knows whether Spurs will feel at home in the new ground from the get go or not.  Palace will be difficult opponents and while spurs are out of form, they were unlucky against Liverpool at the weekend and from what I saw of the highlights of the Palace-Huddersfield game, they weren't all that impressive in winning.
This is only a fun bet so very low stakes.

Well I would have agreed that these quarter finals were not the most attractive, but all turned out to be decent games. The SWA V MC & MIL V BRI in particular were proper, thrilling, old fashioned cup ties. Wolves put on a great show from their fans & players. They've knocked out both Reds too.
The magic of the cup is well and truly alive this season!

    Millwall vs Brighton
One tie remains from the FA Cup Quarter-Finals and it's Millwall versus Brighton in a 2pm kick-off at the Den. It's the Championship versus the Premier League. Will we see a giant-killing or will the big guns prevail to join Watford, Manchester City, and Wolves in the Semi-Finals?
Millwall reached the FA Cup Final in 2004 so it's a competition their fans have a fond affection for. That was a long time ago now but they could take a step closer to writing another chapter in their history books with a win here. Neil Harris has seen his team beat Hull, Everton, and AFC Wimbledon in the competition so far. It's been far from convincing but they're doing enough. Their league run of 4 defeats from their last 5 league games means they could do with a victory here.
Brighton are also in desperate need of winning this game. Chris Hughton's men had been sliding down the Premier League table. The Seagulls have notched up back-to-back victories in the league but a loss here could seriously damage their morale at a crucial period. This competition has seen them Bournemouth, West Brom (after a replay), and Derby.
A huge issue for Millwall here is the potential absence of a couple of key players. Strike Lee Gregory is in a race against time to prove his fitness. Ben Thompson, who bagged two goals in the midweek win against Birmingham, is cup-tied. Defender Murray Wallace is also suspended. It's not ideal for the Lions.
The travelling side have their own concerns. Florin Andone and Pascal Gross will both be unavailable due to injury. Yves Bissouma is also suspended. 5 of the last 8 meetings between these two sides have ended in draws so it wouldn't surprise me with this team news if that happened again and the match was decided on penalties. I just think Brighton might have enough to sneak the win.

    Watford vs Crystal Palace
The FA Cup Quarter-Final previews are here and we kick things off with the intriguing clash of Premier League rivals that is Watford versus Crystal Palace in a 12:15pm kick-off this Saturday lunch-time live from Vicarage Road. Which of these two teams will take a huge step closer to realising their dream of playing at Wembley?
Watford are surprising a lot of people, apart from their own fans, with their attacking displays this season. Every time the pundits expect them to lose their way they suddenly pick up their results again. It's led to Javi Gracia's side sitting in 8th place in the Premier League. The Hornets haven't conceded a goal in the FA Cup thus far with clean sheet wins over Woking, Newcastle, and QPR so far.
Crystal Palace might still have one eye on the relegation dog fight but they're realistically one of the teams expected to survive this season. Roy Hodgson will have been disappointed with the result against Brighton last weekend but attention quickly turns to cup action here. The Eagles have also kept a clean sheet in every round of the competition so far with wins over Grimsby, Tottenham, and Doncaster.
Palace haven't beaten Watford in their last three meetings and have lost the last two encounters. The last time these two met in the FA Cup was the 2016 Semi-Finals when Palace secured a tight 2-1 win to reach the Final. It was also Palace who won the previous Wembley meeting between the two teams before that Semi-Final with a 1-0 victory in the 2013 Championship Play-Off Final. I actually think Watford will put that cup hoodoo behind them and take the win.

    Couple of picks from me
    Palace to beat Burnley
Palace are a much better team when playing away as the onus is on the home team to attack. Although Burnley have solid home form (5 wins & 1 draw in last 7), the opposition have been kind to them (Soton, Fulham, West Ham).  Palace however (4 away wins in last 6) so they are capable & they ability to score 2 or more away, will count for a lot.
    MAN Utd
Should beat a struggling but stubborn Southampton quite easily as they push for CL qualification, an early goal will make -1.5 on the Handicap

That's brilliant. They're flying under Gary Johnson. I knew a few Torquay fans in uni (Cardiff is one of the closest unis to them so they flocked there) and they're very excited about things. Yeah, I agree. I can see you boys staying up. I'd be amazed if the bottom three wasn't Fulham, Huddersfield, and, dare I say, us.

Like every time this season, at the crucial turning point of the season, Tottenham Hotspur takes off and any title dreams are lost. Two consecutive defeats with Burnley and Chelsea, who bring her back, while in front of her is the London derby with the raised Arsenal. "Gunners" come from two straight wins with Southampton (2-0) and Bournemouth (5-10), again having a good morale. Logic says a lot of goals

Going to wake up early, really looking forward to Spurs/Arsenal game.  No strong lean in that match, but do feel Arsenal are being undervalued, taking them +0.5 would make sense.  Be honest here, I think Poch is overrated as a manager.  He has a nice system, has a keen eye for young talent, and gets a lot of his players so something certainly can be said for that, but his in game management is questionable.
Case in point, Kane's first game back in what, 6 weeks against Burnley of all teams, and leaves him in for a full 90?  Yeah, he scored a goal, that's well and good, but bigger fish to fry and Burnley tough at home.   And then he was outmatched vs a struggling Chelsea side, and again Kane in for full game.  Very questionable strikers brought in in the likes of Soldado, Llorente, et al, I'm not overwhelmed.
Anyway, I fully expect Man United to stomp Southampton tomorrow.  I'll play them 1H, on the handicap, hell, maybe even a -2 here.  Two teams going in exact opposite directions, United's forms been top notch and they are at home, no reason to believe this is even close.
I also do like Wolves here at home quite a bit,  Cardiff on the road a bit of a horror show with just 9 goals scored in 13 matches.  Wolves play a nice attacking style.  I really do like Wolves to bounce back here after two disappointing performances, home cooking, I'll lay -0.75 here.
Lastly, I really think Burnley getting a great price at home, seeing close to 2/1 for home win vs Palace.  How soon we forget how great Burnley were at home last year?  Burnley won 3 of their last 4 at home with the other a draw, including a win vs Spurs.  This is a good price, definitely worth a punt.

I'd leave this game alone. Brighton are desperate for a win, and it could well come tonight. Leicester are going through a managerial change at the moment, so there is no way of knowing what mood is around the camp. Rodgers hotly tipped to leave Celtic & take over.

Both groups have faced significant defensive problems lately, but in most cases they find the solution ahead. Especially the absence of Fan Dak from Team Clop's team changes the data and gives more hopes for Bayern's result. However, the Bavarians are not worthy of trust this year, and they have the rematch at their headquarters. The match can go everywhere, but the logic says it will be accompanied by many goals

A big match in Zerlund in France, since Lyon threatens Barcelona and nothing can be ruled out. This is because the "blaugran" does not play well lately, unlike Lion, who has found shape and plays quite aggressively. In any case, the French have nothing to lose from the moment they passed the Champions League's 16th stage and will no longer be stressed against a big opponent, both teams can score

    Chelsea vs Manchester United
The FA Cup still has one more treat of a game to offer us in the 5th Round. It's a 7:30pm kick-off between Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. One side will continue their march to the final and one will exit the competition prematurely.
Chelsea are a mixed bag right now. One minute, it looks like Maurizio Sarri has lost the plot with his team getting hammered 6-0 away to Manchester City and the next minute it looks like they're turning things around with a competent 2-1 win away to Swedish club Malmo. One eye will certainly be on the EFL Cup Final on the weekend so is that a fair reason to back United here?
Manchester United are rejuvenated under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but after 11 matches undefeated in all competitions since taking over, the Norwegian experienced his first taste of defeat in a 2-0 loss at home to PSG in the Champions League last 16 first leg. Can they bounce back from that defeat?
This is a more even game than the odds suggest. As @allyhibs rightly pointed out, United are very tempting at 4.00. I can see them getting at least a draw over 90 minutes. Can they progress? United are certainly a more cohesive unit than Chelsea right now. There's still clearly issues under the surface with the Blues. If you're talking about teams that are more united, pardon the play on words, then you have to back the Red Devils.

    QPR vs Watford
The FA Cup 5th Round kicks off with Championship side QPR hosting Premier League outfit Watford at 7:45pm at Loftus Road. It's taking the opening night spot because clearly the TV producers think there could be the potential of a shock here. Me? I'm not convinced.
QPR were briefly looking like they could be Steve McClaren's big domestic redemption. The former England manager had some decent results at Derby but ultimately failed to achieve his aims. The London club were struggling after losing their opening four league games of the season but a run of decent results saw them become play-off contenders. It included a spell of just 3 defeats in 15 league matches. However, it's now 7 league games without a win including 5 defeats in a row leaving them in 18th place.
Watford are experiencing a more positive and consistent campaign. The Hornets are exceeding expectations under Javi Gracia with the club in 8th place in the top flight. They may well be 13 points off the European qualification spots but after being tipped to face a relegation dog fight by many it's undoubtedly pleasant reading for Watford fans to see their club flying so high.
It's been an interesting route for both sides so far in the cup this season. QPR pulled off a decent 2-1 win over Championship title contenders Leeds in the 3rd Round before needing a replay to dispose of League One side Portsmouth. Watford made light work of non-league Woking before a solid win away to Newcastle.
The last time these two clubs met in the FA Cup at Loftus Road was back in January, 1980. On that occasion, it was Watford that prevailed as the winners with a 2-1 victory. That said, QPR have only lost 1 of the last 5 meetings at home between these two clubs in all competitions.
Stats are generally favouring Watford though. The Hertfordshire club are on a run of just 2 losses in their last 13 matches in all competitions. The Hornets have also only failed to win one of their last 8 FA Cup encounters against sides from a lower division.
I think this game is there for Watford to win. Realistically, they're safe in the Premier League this season. They only need to win 3-4 of their remaining 12 league games to secure safety. So it should be a priority to win this competition. Unless Gracia is a fool he'll put a strong side out and want the win to book their place in the Quarter-Finals.
