IN Excelsis Deo Stable = Harry Fry - jumping mistakes was his problem last year and cost him a couple of race wins IMO understand they have him sorted re his jumping and i strongly fancy him for the Paddy Power at Cheltenham in November ive had a few Sheckles on at 20's

Impossible for him to lose to Moutet ... was nearly mission impossible 7. Had a close game facing breakpoints at 2-2 3rd set. Some low priced favorites that I like today Humbert to beat Giron. Giron has played well last few weeks but Humbert is solid, and at 'home' . Rune to beat Bublik. Rune has this wierd annoying style on the court but he is talented. Bublik just too inconsistent and hit and miss for me. Shelton to beat Cazaux just a weird court that Shelton played on yesterday. Small and cramped, not an ideal venue for an ATP 1000 masters event. Both players hit the roof with a lob yesterday. Good for the Paris Masters to be moving to la Defense next year. I think both him and Ruud are looking at their games and thinking 'can this game beat Alcaraz or Sinner'? And thus, they are experimenting and trying to add to their skills. Hence their inconsistent results. You look at other players who's games have peaked (Medvedev, Zverev, Hurkacz) who cannot beat SInner at their current levels. They are not even trying other stuff, so you have to give Ruud and Rune some credit. Two medium bets I like is Fritz to beat Draper. Fritz not spectacular, but solid and consistent in quite a narrow game plan (that works). Mpetshi Perricard to beat Khachanov. Perricard is serving bullets, and looks full of energy. I expect at least 1 tie breaker in this match, so 21+ games is also good. As a longer shot, I think Griekspoor will run Zverev very close. Lost in 3 the last time they met, losing 2 tie breakers. Odds of 3.6 are good.

Indeed, throwing lots of our money at the NHS etc but where do the workers come from, the birth rate is 1.49, it needs to be 2.11. How do we fill the gap ? Either large scale immigration or increase the pension age to 75 Good luck for any party with those policies !

A short burst of midweekery to get us to yet another month end. Where does the time go! We have the last 16 in the League Cup with 5 all Premier League ties including Spurs v Man City. There's also a full set of SPL fixtures and a few League 1 and 2 games. There's Cup action in both Germany and Spain and some Serie A games as well. So, plenty to go at, though not quite as manic as last week with all the UEFA competition games (thankfully)! Let us know here what you fancy in any of these games.

My c/fwd balances are L15's -120.52 and RC P/L incl L15's is -175.20. Even though I only won under 1 pt today, my attempt at wealth creation is still better than the Labour Party's after today's budget.

Week Nine NFL Predictions YTD P40 W18 D2 L20 Staked 240 pts, returned 77.39 pts = YTD loss of 172.61pts. (1) Colts to win ATS+5.0 points @ 10/11. A few stats suggest the Colts could defeat the Vikings. Firstly, the Colts are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games versus NFC North teams. They are also 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against Minnesota. Starting Joe Flacco will give this team a major boost. (2) Lions to win ATS -3.5 points @ Evens An injury to Jordan Love could disrupt the Packers offence. The Lions are playing lights out, with Montgomery and Gibbs in tremendous form. A stat I like is the Lions are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games against Green Bay. (3) Bears to win ATS +1.0 points @ 20/23 The Bears defence is one of the best in the NFL and will keep the Cardinals closed down. The Cardinals could only score seven points in the first half against the Dolphins and the Bears defence is better than Miami’s. (4) LA Rams to win ATS -2.0 points @ 10/11 Early season injuries took their toll on the Ram’s but with Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp on the field they are a different team as the Vikings found out last week. (5) Washington to win ATS -3.5 points @ 10/11 There was not much between these teams when they met in week 2, with Washington winning 21-18. Washington won this game by running the football, something the Giants often struggle to do. Last week was the exception, with rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr., running for 145 yards and a touchdown before leaving to in the fourth quarter with possible concussion.
