Well i notice my twinnie greys has mostallim in one of his bets as i do, the other day we had the same 3 in a lucky 15 in france all big prices. As for Muscika well for me it was the most interesting race of the day i sat pondering why muscika's price was so big given its recent (and past) form so i did the figures and on the previous encounter where Jupiter express came out on top it was reasonable to assume where one finished the other would be very close to it so at 150/1 the forecast i thought that will do for me. little financial risk to a good return yes we can all say "i should have had more on" but that always applies to losers as well so you have to make a decision, at the end of the day it was a handicap after all and we all know you can run them 10 times and get 10 different results so it was all about value and 150/1 really was value all things considered.and i have always said it is hard work when doing figures so why just use them to identify the winner and ignore the forecast or even the tricast all that work should be maximised in my opinion. and in the past i have done very well out of this thinking, consider this i can either get the big one, winner, forecast and tricast and because i reverse everything to smaller stakes my win bet can lose but i can still get the forecast and or tricast. Well it’s certainly a good way and one that you do well by specialising in but I guess that others do well by focusing more on horses that the bookies have badly underestimated. But I agree you’re more likely to find value betting on things others aren’t keen on. With that in mind you really want to try spread betting because I guarantee you you’ll find bets that “no-one” wants to bet to an extent that is unparalleled in fixed odds markets, and value to match. If people don’t like, say, risking £100 to win £30 on a 1/3 shot they’re not going to like selling Rashford’s goal minutes at 30 to win a maximum of £30 but with a potential downside of £300 or more. I don’t get the impression that you’re a dyed in the wool “Sport of Kings” fan. Given your willingness to bet on other sports, make shrewd use of free bets/offers and take risks with investing I think it would be right up your alley. Zilzalian
Look at the value here aberama gold now 6/1 ostillio now 16/1 mostallim now 16/1. knowing what the prices should be is the key to success because you are getting the value win lose or draw. The cash out is in profit without even a runner. Multiply this stake by 10 and you have made £11.70 totally risk free and Clarkey would/might quite rightly point out that you should cash it out. Cheers Harry, I have dabbled on footie but I'm conscious that there is only so much time available and I like to thoroughly research any method I use. I did make some money betting on the outsiders in premier league matches, it's surprising how often the unexpected happens. I had the advantage of being able to access several year's results beforehand. I may revisit this. My main source of income is the stock market and I need to spend more time on that really as my "system" isn't performing at the moment, after making big profits for 8 years out of 9 I have lost money each of the last 3 years.
