1.50  Don - I  really thinks Stone Of Destiny   7/1 bog 5 p should go very close in this . Ideally I would have like a bigger price a double digit one at that as he has not been in great form  this year but  now on a really nice mark  and  dropped in class should really be picking up this race  you would think a place at worst so I have taken 7/1 e/w.

Tedthewolf seems ecstatic about Stone of Destiny in the 1.50 at Donny. After yesterdays shock form turnaround at Catterick due to heavy going and my failure to allow for it I was happy for a nice profit from 2 winners out of 4.

In selecting todays races I am still worried about the going.  That's enough of a worry without adding apprentice races to the list of nail biting factors I crossed out the 1.50 at Don..

Which leaves me with 2.25 Indian Charm 4.45 X J Rascal. 5.20 Vulcan all ew

Bad luck Stone of Destiny...Tedthewolf's excellent  hot tip. Had them all beaten at 5 furlongs. Another victim to the softer ground . Lets hope our members  got on each way 4 places bookmakers.

Cappoquin 5:00 Carlisle (3/1 general). Backed her when she ran here in July, think she'll appreciate the easier ground and this trip. Fav could still be well handicapped but was probably the only one to really stay when he won last time.

 

Not a bad run but didn't find a great deal from 2F out.

RESULTS UPDATE

So close to collecting 177.14 points; beaten a neck by Will Buick on Bounce The Blues.  A good day nonetheless with 4 winners, 3 in my multiple bet.  That returned 27.04 for 2.75 pts.  The singles added up to a total net profit of 37.50 on the day.  This makes my MTD +55.63 and YTD - 240.94

More Doncaster racing tomorrow. The races where there are so-called good things have the favourites installed at short prices which is disappointing.  Obviously the wide-open races probably won't lend themselves to multiple staking.  There are 3 class 4 races at Epsom, two have favourites at reasonable odds.  Don't know about the Racing League event at Southwell.  I have got burnt in these before so I'm a bit hesitant about getting too much involved with them
