Just also FYI, laying to place while also backing to win has been very profitable. Theory being that the horse is value to win but if it doesn't perform well, it may not perform at all and not even place. Lay to place, using BSP to fixed stake of €100 (net of 2% comm) is +€3,924, & fixed liability of €100 (net of 2% comm) is +€3,450.

would it not be better to say level stake points to see performance than this £100 stake. most do £2-5 stakes on average. u know my group and it was 190 points up last two months together. (level stake)

If you are making a profit with proportional stakes but not level stakes does this indicate that you should exclude the longer priced selections ?

I was betting on this to small stakes after the success of the 1st cycle but with a level stake loss of 60 points over the last couple of months it is not for me.

Yes, thank you for the comment. I actually just profiled that this morning. Excluding all above 11.0 BSP to Win is showing a profit of 44 units (to BSP, net of 2% comm)

Having looked back over the results since day 1; and taking on board some of the staking options in general & noted in here earlier; I think moving to a fixed profit per selection (for a Win) will likely be the future here with these picks (with a limit on the max price being taken across all selections). We'll stick as we are for the time being. May also incorporate a lay of the place also.
