Global Exceed 6.30 Newcastle (E.Way 16/1 SkyBet)

Global Exceed was a £200k yearling who has learnt his trade at sprint king Robert Cowell’s stable reaching a rating of 74. Now off 62 he is trained by Mrs K Tutty and should give Gemma Tutty an exciting ride.

Newcastle 6.00 Star Cracker - 10/1 betvictor e/w thanks

Star Cracker - from Jim Goldie yard the 7yo is half owned with G E Adams and Jim and is a horse that runs on turf and aw throughout the year and started about this time last year on AW before going turf running this season and yard are back to aw at Newcastle tonight , He's a winner of six races from 5f to 6f including 3 wins on the all-weather here, His last win was here in April this year but since then and 11 race on turf has been poor and not one frame finish with last run 5 days ago at Hamilton 5f soft he finished 7th beaten 6.5 lengths , I would think this may be fact finding mission to try and see if the horse needs a break as he's been on the go every month since December 2017 as that year Jim rested him in October 2017, He runs a 1lb out of handicap in this Apprentice Handicap with Rowan Scott in saddle for first time.
