Good to hear the Irish flat season is back early next month, and from the source who gave us "Search For A Song" last year is this Unraced 3 year old filly in the same colours...

Federica Sophia

Oh wow she is lovely bred ... How does Weld get on with First time out horses ? If Smullen is on then it might be a signal.

Would be great to see the likeable Peter Chapple-Hyam have another decent flat horse, and I do like his filly: Bharani Star

Though failing to trouble the judge on both runs as a 2 year old, they were at top tracks and the horse was far from disgraced

First run of the season tomorrow at Newmarket [3pm]

Big outsider so minimum each way stake only at 100-1 with Paddy Power

Eastern World is a flat horse to follow over the next few months

Though beaten at odds on before Christmas, shaped as if needing a middle distance and should pay his way for Godolphin

Is a strong Fav to win tomorrow at Newmarket [4.45]

Current odds are only 11-10

All the pundits are raving about the impressive win of Mums Tipple at York last week

However in his previous debut win, its worth noting that the 3rd horse that day also having his first race was thought I know by connections to be a certainty. However after running green was hampered by the winner close home yet was only beaten a couple of necks.

Time may prove this colt to be the better horse: Man Of Promise

Has his first race since tomorrow night at Yarmouth [7.30], but only 10-11 at the moment!

Hopefully not long before the Flat season gets underway, can report from a decent source that this Roger Varian Galileo 3 year old colt who is yet to race could be a star...

Debut is tomorrow [Sandown,3.45]

Good jockey booking and the form horses look nothing special, opening show of 4-1

Eye Catcher

Roca Roma

Unlucky not to win on her debut last Saturday.

Despite being drawn wide got a good start and was in a handy close up position when after half a furlong was hampered by another horse coming across the Irish filly. Jockey gave the horse time to recover but at the cost of a few places as she ran green, but ran on strongly and gamely to only fail by 3/4 length to beat the well backed favourite.

Is straight into the Irish 1.000 Guineas tomorrow [7.15]!

Big ask but stable won the 2,000 tonight,so each way play at 10-1 [4 places] with Paddy Power

Never got involved after a slow start and then getting keen.

Jockey then rode for education and though well beaten was doing best work at finish suggesting a step up in trip is needed

Next time that greenness will have gone

...and a brave effort by her to Dead Heat

Had a hard race with rider Atzeni suspended for two days for "using his whip in the incorrect place"

Bharani Star is up to Group 2 class tomorrow at Royal Ascot [2.25] !

Big outsider at 33-1 currently, but can see the horse not being disgraced so will keep an eye out for extra place and Without the Fav markets

Had every chance in 2nd, but came up against a good horse and the two came clear

Not a great surprise the opening 5-4 was snapped up for Eastern World in the first race at Newmarket tomorrow, now trading at odds on

Roca Roma is straight into a Group 1 on Sunday!

Think she will not be disgraced so small each way as only two places at 20-1 with Paddy Power

Not unsupported but finished last after trying to take on the great Magical and she was just not ready for that at this stage of career
