However after running green was hampered by the winner close home yet was only beaten a couple of necks. Loved the way he breezed into the lead 2 out after running green when the pace quickened earlier as he is a big unit, but was run down on the run in by the highly rated Favourite Be very surprised if this 5 year old does not win nice races this campaign. Has his first race there tomorrow morning, and will be fascinating to see how he gets on especially with the much needed cheekpieces being applied. Despite being drawn wide got a good start and was in a handy close up position when after half a furlong was hampered by another horse coming across the Irish filly. Striker Posted October 31, 2019 Author Share Posted October 31, 2019 National Hunt Horse To Follow Butte Montana Finished 2nd in a hot bumper race at Cheltenham last week, though connections were disappointed he did not win as Fergal O'Brien thinks he is a very nice horse. But the horse who beat him is also well regarded by his top connections, and I though Butte did well to get 2nd as looked the first beat 3 furlongs out. Also in a head to head smash up between Barry Geraghty & Paddy Brennan you would not want your mortgage on PB!
