Loved the way he breezed into the lead 2 out after running green when the pace quickened earlier as he is a big unit, but was run down on the run in by the highly rated Favourite Be very surprised if this 5 year old does not win nice races this campaign. Runs tomorrow at Wincanton [12.40]

Striker
Heavily backed into 4-6, but only 2nd! Did sweat badly before the off which was a concern on a cold day like this, did battle though despite hanging under pressure Pretty confident the horse was not 100% today, so keep the faith

Striker
Kalashnikov Very likeable horse trained by Amy Murphy Heartbreaking to see him chinned on the line last week at Newbury, but personally I think he needs stepping up to 3 miles. So watch out if that happens

But the horse who beat him is also well regarded by his top connections, and I though Butte did well to get 2nd as looked the first beat 3 furlongs out. Also in a head to head smash up between Barry Geraghty & Paddy Brennan you would not want your mortgage on PB! Would like to see young star Connor Brace ride this horse in the future as he has done a lot of the homework on him Stables last 4 bumper runners have Won, and the “word” still is that the above horse is still the best of them! Striker
Lordofthehorizon Thought he ran a nice debut at Newcastle today over the straight mile. Could not really get into a rhythm despite being strong in the market, and after being almost last 2 furlongs out ran on under a hands and heels ride to finish a never nearer 5th Interestingly just past the post was getting into top gear and almost finished alongside the winner, suggesting a step up in trip will benefit yossa6133

Striker
Eastern World is a flat horse to follow over the next few months Though beaten at odds on before Christmas, shaped as if needing a middle distance and should pay his way for Godolphin
Striker
Would be great to see the likeable Peter Chapple-Hyam have another decent flat horse, and I do like his filly: Bharani Star Though failing to trouble the judge on both runs as a 2 year old, they were at top tracks and the horse was far from disgraced
