A lot to consider even though there is only a selected number of matches from League 1 and League 2. allthethings Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Morecambe used to be a great away side, but rarely win away these days...the one thing that might lead me to support them here is Newport's Cup match Saturday against Spurs. I'm really hoping the odds lengthen in Bradford's match at Rotherham, because I'd surely support the away side at 3.7 or better. They're 3.2 now. StevieDay1983 Posted January 23, 2018 Author Share Posted January 23, 2018 Rangers vs Aberdeen Quite a big game going under the radar in the SPL with Rangers playing Aberdeen in a 3rd vs 2nd affair. Both sides have steadied the ship after losses a few games back. There is obviously the added spice of Derek McInnes managing the away side and visiting the ground of the club he shunned. Rangers have done some good business in January with the signings of Russell Martin from Norwich and Jason Cummings from Nottingham Forest. Aberdeen appear to be set to lose influential midfielder Kenny McLean to Norwich in this window and he's unlikely to figure in this game. It's a close one to call. McLean could be a massive loss in a key position for Aberdeen. They will probably learn to live without him over the long term but it's a big departure in the short term. His absence and the new additions for Rangers could well be the difference here. If Aberdeen are going to take anything from this game then McInnes will need to use his experience to out-whit Murty. Odds have collapsed here and in the EFL Trophy matches especially, where there will be no punts, sadly. Morecambe at 3.99 and still dropping.
