The 6yo is improving having won his last two starts here including last time over C/D, he's gone up in the weights but has found a good opportunity here to land the hat-trick at a fair price. bluemal Posted October 20, 2017 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Ascot 4.30 Qassem @ 20/1 PP e/w thanks Qassem.....from Hugo Palmer yard was previously with A Fabre in France and came over in October last year with Hugo running him the following month to 8th place so for a Christmas present Hugo gelded the horse then put him away for winter only to bring him out for race in May then put away again till August , The yard look as if they've had problems with horse with that summer break seemingly doing the trick when he won at Chelmsford 1m AW winning by 1.75 lengths and with a quick turnout and a 5lb rise to 98 on turf at York 1m GS he finished 2nd in class 2 handicap and another 1lb rise to 99 , He headed to Newmarket 1m 1f GS but everything went wrong which has forced the yard to have the cheekpieces on for the first time and brought Frankie Dettori in to ride horse for first time also still off same mark 99 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
