Chester 3:50 Blue Sea Of Ibrox @ 200/1 >bet365 e/w thanks I canny let this one go by where my team Rangers play at Ibrox, The horse has just changed hands was with Alan Brown yard who took it for NH racing where he was only placed 5 times over hurdles out of 27 races , Its not ran for 122 days with new yard getting her in the 5th September so have not had much time to work on her , you never know a change of yard may do the trick with Martin Lane in the saddle

S4.40 Frantical 33/1 Coral This bottom weight is tried again over the same trip and ground as when it won its maiden. The 3rd in that maiden has won a couple since which suggests that this horses mark of 67 is a decent one especially with the excellent Patrick Pilley taking off a further 7lb. The horse is lightly raced and still open to improvement so could certainly exploit this mark with the jockey booking potentially being a significant one (his first time riding the horse).

Non-runner so I'll replace with this one please.... S4.10 Fantasy Queen 33/1 Bet365 This looks like a wide open maiden where the horses which have previously raced showing little on the track, This one finished last on its sole run but on breeding, the ground, the trip and the fact that it was the horses first run would suggest it was never going to be competitive in that race. The breeding though would suggest a big improvement on its 2nd run and the faster ground and extra trip should all suit. The booking of Tom Queally is also interesting, he has the best strike rate of the jockeys at this course (10 from 56 = 18%)

315 Chester: Apostle 6/1 bet365/Skybet Backed this one last time and thought he ran well behind Sound Advice. This looks a touch less competitive, he's drawn well in stall 4 and is a pound better off. Joe Fanning has been booked to do the steering and looks a very solid selection to me, cant see him being out the frame.

2.30 Doncaster: Mallard Handicap (Class 2), 1m 6f, 132y A wide open handicap for stayers and a clash of the young with the old. For the veterans, I feel Noble Silk is an interesting contender back up in trip - he warrants more respect than his big price tag suggests. He is usually consistent and can go close here, albeit his mark offers little room for error. This is a recurring theme in this field as most have either to prove a point or have to overcome career highest marks. Royal Signaller is another one of the brigade of older horses who has fair credentials on form, given that he should appreciate this marathon trip, but who is not on an overly favourable handicap mark. We have not seen the best of four year old Battersa yet, so this new trip and the likelihood of good ground may help him to find back to his fine three year old form. Others like Pressure Point or Curbyourenthusiasm may not appreciate the very long distance, while Saved By The Bell would need to find a huge amount of improvement to overcome a career highest mark. The classic generation seems to hold the key in this contest, though. First and foremost bottom weight Not Never. A fine runner-up last month, it is not unreasonable to think that he can progress further for his sixth career start. Whether he can win relies on his stamina, however - which is untested beyond the 1m 6f trip. Not Never was a slightly unlucky second behind Polarisation. This hardy Mark Johnston gelding had already an awful lot of racing in his career but seems to thrive for it and finds ways to win. His stamina will the tested to the limit today and personally I feel the trip is beyond him. Godolphin's Future Empire was once thought to be a potential Derby contender, although it became clear pretty soon that he is a rather slow horse, once he returned to the track this year in the Derby Trial. So far he has only won a maiden on his debut, however he has ran three big races in succession on his last starts when 3rd at Royal Ascot in the Queen's Vase, then runner-up behind smart Mr Singh in a Group 3 at Newmarket, and most recently runner-up again, then at Musselburgh in Handicap company. That day, he was beaten by Pressure Point whom he meets today again - however on different terms. Future Empire didn't cope particularly well with the fast track that Musselburgh is, however stayed on in very impressive style. He looks an out and out stayer who will certainly appreciate the step up to this trip here. While his mark went up, he could well improve for this extreme test of stamina. Future Empire @ 7/1 William Hill

Donc 4.15 - Intense Style - win at 50/1 bog wm hill Sprint handicap My selection hasn't won for a while but is dropping down the weights. Still capable of decent form, such as 4th in a group 3 earlier this year Finished a neck 2nd in a handicap off 6lb higher earlier this year so the mark is fine, well handicapped really if finding his mojo again
