Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 1310 newbury 1pt win beast of burden this could be a race to follow future runners as it could throw up some winners, but im on the rebecca curtis 5 year old gelding, who won on debut very easily, another jockey comes over the water to ride this time and hopefully he can steer this one home

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 7.10 Kempton - Graylyn Ruby win @ 7/1 PaddyPower Graylyn Ruby won over C&D 3 races ago from a 3lb lower mark. He hasn't been in the same form recently but finished well when 5th at Lingfield and was more or less pulled up lto over C&D when the saddle slipped so the form looks worse than it really is. Adam Kirby looks an interesting jockey booking as he has never ridden this horse before and he tends to go well here. He also rode a winner yesterday so is in good form. I don't think that this race should take a lot of winning so if Kirby can get a good tune out of this horse and if he can run close to the level of his last win then he should go close despite the 3lb higher mark.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 2.00 Ling Keep Kicking win 4/1 betvictor Better run lto when not getting the clearest of runs but running on at the finish. That was under today's jock who claims 7lbs again and mark been untouched since lto , and that was over 1m4 , steps back up to 2miles but has a good s/r over the distance and over CD. Took a while to drop down h/cap after wins off 57 & 60 But off 57 today should be competitive.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 Ludlow 2.25 - Opening Batsman (1pts win, 3/1 Bet365) Returned from seven months to run at Wincanton in November and ran okay before weakening 3 out that day but it was a much improved effort and he may have needed the run. Has slipped down to a good looking mark and today could be the day to capitalise.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 K2.40 Steventon Star 1pt Win 25/1 Stan James It's not often that you get a horse that's won off a much higher mark in the past, priced this big at this age (3-y-o) since the horse should clearly still be progressing rather than regressing. The first time tongue tie is interesting and the sire stats at this course are good.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 Lingfield 12:30 - Classic Colori WIN @ 8/1 BetVictor Winner of a Listed race over 7f here in the past, this is a Class 6 contest and if he shows anywhere near his best he has to be in with a decent shout for in-form trainer Martin Keighley who had two winners at Cheltenham a few days ago. Was a very decent horse on the flat but has been campaigned over the jumps of late but must have a chance here.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 17th December 2014 2.25 Ludlow: According To Trev 12/1 BetVictor/BFred Formerly with Twiston-Davies and looks to have improve for the switch to David Bridgewater and a change of scenery. Ran well at Exeter and then fell at the first next time before winning well at haydock in a competitive contest. Up 9lbs here but gets his conditions and looks sure to run another solid race.
