Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July

Recommended Posts

6:30 Lingifeld - Parisian Pyramid (20/1 Paddy Power) 1pt Win Nowhere near the force he once was but has shown enough this season to suggest that he is up to winning a low grade race such as this. Has not had many chances in class 6 races but has generally performed well when dropped down to this level. No problems with the course and trainer has been doing well with a string of average horses this season. Big question mark is the trip as his best form is all over sprint distances but the price more than makes up for any such doubts and if he can be delivered late I can see him going very close against very mediocre opposition.

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July 7.40 Ling. Reedcutter 9/2 Hills Won his Maiden here back in May over course and distance. Run over different distances since and I believe that a return to 1 mile back here will do the job. The jockeys not too bad either. :p

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July B5.10 Trending 1pt Win 14/1 Paddy Power Has the favoured high draw and is down to a decent mark now, 1lb lower in fact than when winning over this c&d 2 years ago. The jockey rides the course well and with trip and ground ideal, the horse might just put recent efforts behind it off this winnable mark against some moderate opposition

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July Restrained last time out, unsure why, as it was over the min trip, why the feck restrain a horse over the min trip is beyond me, so will give the colt another chance, must have a chance if jockey Jenny Powel has been instructed to let OFF the handbrake. 4:35 Bath - Snap Shots. 1pt Win bet @ SP ----------------------------------------- [h=3]Future entries[/h][TABLE=class: tbl t3 mobile-collapse, width: 100%]

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July 3.15 Yarmouth - loving your work win 5/1 bet365 Seems a big price , winner and placed twice only 1/2 L defeats over 1m4 and didn't see out the 2miles lto and takes a massive drop in grade from listed to cl5 , won cl5 h/cap on penultimate run off 66 , only 4lbs higher today and jock trainer 3/4 at track with one further place. Favourite runs under a pen and could be a bit short to follow up , now upped in grade

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July Doncaster 9.00 - Nanton (1pts win, 5/1 William Hill) Still going at the grand old age of 12 and comes to a track he has a strong record on (2 wins, 4 places from 9 starts) even though he finished only 4th here two weeks ago he was only beaten 1 length. If he's in the same mood today should go well.

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July 18.00 Lingfield - Magic Florence - Win @ 8\11 William Hill BOG 2yo maiden over the minimum on the AW and Magic Florence should beat her rivals based on her previous performances and her form puts her well clear of her rivals in what looks a weak 2yo maiden. 2nd LTO at Catterick and should be able to put her previous experience on the track to good use and win this maiden. Well clear on RPR ratings.

Re: Nap of the day - Thursday 24th July 2.30 Sandown: Devilment 4/1 Bet365 Won twice on the AW so his defeat last time on good to soft ground over 10f was not too much of a surprise. Back on a sound surface and over a decent trip should see him in much better light here and i fancy him to improve past the Johnston last time out winner who steps up in class. Andrew Balding does well here at Sandown so i wouldn't be surprised to see Belfilo run a decent race at fair odds and rates as the danger.
