Has not had many chances in class 6 races but has generally performed well when dropped down to this level. No problems with the course and trainer has been doing well with a string of average horses this season. Big question mark is the trip as his best form is all over sprint distances but the price more than makes up for any such doubts and if he can be delivered late I can see him going very close against very mediocre opposition. Run over different distances since and I believe that a return to 1 mile back here will do the job. Back on a sound surface and over a decent trip should see him in much better light here and i fancy him to improve past the Johnston last time out winner who steps up in class. Andrew Balding does well here at Sandown so i wouldn't be surprised to see Belfilo run a decent race at fair odds and rates as the danger.
