Kevin Pullein saturday picks, 18% yield, 96 bets

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield My records go back to the 9th of August. Since then, there are 7 "no bet" weeks and 1 where there were 2 selections. I appreciate the thread title is a little misleading now (relating, as it does, to last season's performance) but I can't edit it as I didn't start the thread.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield Not had chance to verify with my own eyes yet but I believe today's selection is under 4.5 cards in the W Bremen v Augsburg game at evens with 365. (That's according to a usually reliable source that posts most of the major newspaper tipsters' selections.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield Thanks Muppet. I was going to try and verify the advised price when I get chance to see a copy of the paper. The source I'm reliant on online often just prices a list of newspaper tipsters' selections without posting prices. It's not uncommon for the advised price to have been cut by mid morning, perhaps unsurprisingly.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield Today's selection is 1st goal before the 35th minute in West Brom v Stoke, currently best priced 21/20 with Boyles as far as I can see. Looking at the history on Oddschecker, I'd guess it was advised at 23/20 but I'll look to verify that later when I actually get to see a copy of the paper. Good luck if following.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield 26 bets this season (I am posting the total in all of my weekly update posts) and 38 last season according to the thread title so 64 bets in total to date. Cheers for updating the thread title. I'll see this through to the end of the season at least, having got this far.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 38 bets, +27% yield

Bet won and advised odds were indeed 23/20 with Boyles. 12 winners and 1 push from 26 bets this season, profit +2.61 with a yield of 10.03% and overall +12.88 with a yield of 20.12%.
Overall is since the start of the 2013/2014 season?

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 64 bets, +20% yield Fantastic thread, keep it up! A 20% yield after 18 months is extremely credible. Does anyone have any thoughts on how he comes to select his picks, or what he kind of system he uses? Intereresting choice of markets he uses too

I know he has written at least one book which you should be able to find online

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 64 bets, +20% yield Said book is the definitive guide to betting on football, in the Racing Post's expert series. Essentially I think he just has data for many 1000s of matches which he has spent years analysing to the point where he can calculate his own odds for pretty much any market going and that he looks for prices that offer an edge. One day, when time allows, I may re-read the book to try and better understand his approach. It has, however, more than paid for itself by virtue of the table that converts average bookings point to odds for various over/unders lines, which is a huge help when it comes to identifying potential value in the fixed odds bookings markets.

Re: Kevin Pullein's Saturday picks, 64 bets, +20% yield Today's pick not available from my usual source online so might be after the event by the time I'm able to post it, depending on kick off time. If anyone has access to a copy of the RP, please feel free to post up his selection, will be a few pages in from the back, in the Sport section.
