Birds of Prey 13.15 Taunton 1 pt win @ 4/6 (bog)

Ballyward 12.15 Punchestown 8pts win @ 9/4 (bog)

2nd -  tracked leaders, 3rd 3 out, headway into 2nd next, ridden and led at last, stayed on under pressure inside final furlong, no extra and headed near line

Blu Cavalier 12.45 Fakenham 9 Pts Win @ 2\9 (bog)

Completed the hat-trick in comfortable fashion in 10-runner novice at Wincanton in April. May have needed the run on last month's chase bow/return and this is an obvious opening back hurdling.

Sebastopol 13.35 Ayr 10 Pts Win @ 4\7 (bog)

Wide-margin winner of only outing in points who bolted up in a bumper here and returned with an encouraging fourth in a hot novice on hurdling bow at Cheltenham. That experience won't be lost on him.

3rd - chased leaders on inside, hit 2nd, ridden and one pace in 3rd before the last

Le Precieux 13.15 Ludlow 11 Pts Win @ 7\4 (bog)

AW Flat winner last month and made a successful return to chasing in small field at Leicester last week. Hard to know the worth of that form but he's clearly in decent fettle. Carries 7 lb penalty.

Well a loser here tomorrow will give me an unwanted milestone.....most consecutive losers, also had 5 losers in 2016\17 :@

1st @ 2\1 - took keen hold, tracked leader, not always fluent, hit 9th, challenged last, led flat, ran on well

Clarendon Street 14.20 Wetherby 9 Pts Win @ 2\5 (bog)

Very encouraging start for new yard when second on hurdles debut in traditionally-strong event at Warwick (21f), keen at times, travelling well, trouble in-running. Sure to improve.

Laurina 13.50 Sandown 9 Pts Win @ 1\7 (bog)

French recruit who was a very easy winner of the Dawn Run Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and followed up in Grade 1 at Fairyhouse next time. Potentially top class and can't be opposed.

Campeador 13.20 Naas 9 Pts Win @ 8\13 (bog)

Promising sort. Smart winner at 17f over hurdles. 5/4, career best when winning 8-runner novice chase at Fairyhouse (16f, good to soft) 22 days ago, easily. The one to beat.

Ontopoftheworld 12.50 Musselburgh 10 Pts Win @ 4\11 (bog)

Has won 4 small-field handicaps since joining this yard and quickly bounced back when good second at Wincanton on Boxing Day. This looks another good opportunity.

Collooney 14.15 Bangor 10 Pts Win @ 1\3 (bog)

Huntingdon bumper winner who shaped with plenty of promise when ½-length second of 12 to Brandon Castle (winner again since) on Plumpton hurdling debut last month. This looks a good opportunity.

Chef D'equipe 13.10 Taunton 10 Pts Win @ 8\15 (bog)

Best known as a useful chaser for this stable, improving when second at Newbury (19.8f) in November. Not so good at Aintree latest but the key player nonetheless back over timber.

Desirable Court 13.45 Leicester 10 Pts Win @ 2\7 (bog)

Has bettered her hurdles form over fences, kickstarting her chasing career by taking the scalp of Amour de Nuit after 11 weeks off and a breathing op here (20f) last month. The one to beat.

Chaparral Prince 12.20 Kempton 11 Pts Win @ 4\5 (bog)

Lightly-raced maiden on the Flat who left form of hurdling debut well behind when runner-up over C&D last month. Sets the standard on that effort, though not guaranteed to improve further.

2nd - led in start, led, hit 4 out, mistake and narrowly headed next, soon in front again, headed approaching 2 out, rallied approaching last, ridden and stayed on same pace run-in.

Skandiburg 12.30 Kelso 12 Pts Win @ 4\5 (bog)

Proved well suited by the step up to 20f when running out a ready winner at Fakenham last month. This stiffer test should suit him just as well and he has leading claims.
