From the WTA tour, i can't see any way that Badosa will lose today. For me Badosa is another safe bet.
However, we all suffered heavily from the results of the WTA tour in all tournaments in all decades.
So 5/10 confidence on this one

Hi and welcome to the forum @LOVETENNIS! Please don't open new threads!
I don't really trust Kontaveit enough, but that's a price that might be worth taking honestly and I'll think about it again for tomorrow. Opelka might be slight value, but Medvedev looks motivated, his fightback against Paul was flawless basically. For today, I'm adding this.
John Isner Total Games (vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas) - Over 15.5 at 1.80 with Bet365
While I still fancy Tsitsipas to win his quarter, Isner has been looking good and the conditions are to his liking. He demolished two decent players already and he's yet to drop a set, so I think he'll do some damage. The line can be covered even in three sets and Tsitsipas has weaknesses in his returning game, Isner just needs to go to his backhand from time to time.

I think it's very hard to go against Medvedev. He is a smart guy, probably one of the most gifted players out there, with incredible game strategy. Every match he wins on the clay makes him exponentially stronger.
I really thought he would battle with Tommy Paul, but when the chips were down, he readjusted and brought his A game.
For me almost a match to bet in play. Evaluate how quickly Medvedev figures out the Opelka serve. If Opelka is struggling to win his serve early on, it's a strong indicator of him losing. And odds won't change that much considering Medvedev is 2.8 to 10.
Does standing 2 meters behind the baseline work against a player with a rocket for a serve?

Not a huge fan of woman's tennis but I think there is value in Collins to beat Serena at 13 to 10. Last match decided by 10 point tie breaker, and Serena is just not moving well. If her opponent starts getting her serve back, she is in trouble.
I also fancy Azarenka over Madison Keys (if you can bear the sound effects). I think Azarenka is just way too tough, physically and mentally here.
Will take both in a double that should give about 2.6 to 1

Trungelliti to beat Baez at 5.20 with Unibet
I will try this one at low stakes. Baez is a very talented young player and his results this year are incredible (3 Challengers), but he's only 20 years old and Trungelliti has a lot of experience at these stages. He has won the qualification for the FO 3 times before while Baez has never played here. His results this year are not good but he has achieved some good wins. He beat Alcaraz in a Challenger played in Gran Canarias at similar odds and he also beat Coppejans. Baez is the favorite, for sure, but at these odds I will give Trungelliti a shot.

Swiatek is not fighting, she destroys opponents; too much fire, precision and very versatile arsenal. But a month ago she lost in a strange way, without fighting in the I round in Rome, yesterday in double match, she was terrible and hysterical, poor serving.

Hi guys. This is my first bet of the tournament. And I will be going for
Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat Novak Djokovic 5/2 paddy power
I have been really impressed with Tsitsipas during this French Open. And throughout the tournament he has been playing better and better. So i think he is now ready to beat his opponent for the first time at a Grand slam. You are wondering why I'm confident that he can now beat him and reach his first French Open final, well the last round his opponent kind of struggled against Carreno Busta even though he came through easy enough in the end. But he got injured during the match and needed the trainer so all is not well with the world number one. And even his opponent who he beat said that he is not that in great form. So all these factors mean that i feel that this is Tsitsipas best chance of beating one of the greatest players of all time. And reach a grand slam final on clay probably against the king of clay which will certainly not be easy

I also want to do a couple of side bets which could possibly happen

Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the French Open 8/1 paddy power
Nadal to beat Schwartzman 3-1 sets betting 11/4 paddy power

When Mark Petchey was asked today who he would prefer in the final, he said that from a sponsor's perspective a Nadal /Djokovic final would be most ideal judging from the sort of money such a final would generate. He then said for the benefit of tennis he would preferably love to see Tsitsipas play any of the top 2 in the final. Most people on this forum at least the veterans, live on the inside of the game and are quite knowledgeable about who is who even at the basement of the game. Your original statement of expressing disappointment at the WTA for failing to maintain consistency in a tournament of this nature would have been more apt for anyone outside the scope of our involvement with this game. Those kind of people that you refer to that may not watch a game from not recognizing certain players are certainly not avid members of this forum. On here, we are like researchers. We track, follow, investigate and watch most of these players frequently. When you follow the game the way I do, you slowly get used to using your own mental provisional ranking for them as opposed to what the actual record says. The fact is that most sports have opened up so much in modern times and things have really gotten so competitive on a grand scale. The grand slams have now become similar to musical chairs.

So, you simply want to see the same 7-8 names make the last 4 in each GS, year on year? To me that's kind of dull. Every player has their own individual story. To me, upsets and rags-to-riches stories make the WTA way more exciting than the ATP.
A little ridiculous that it's acceptable for 1/4 of the semi finalists to be ranked out the top 100, but 2/4 = ''A randomness problem'', somehow.
It's just variance that comes as a result of 3 set matches. If all matches were best of 5 you'd likely see higher ranked players flourish, and weaker players would rarely get deep.

Jannik Sinner (+2.5 sets) to beat Rafael Nadal at 3.24 with Pinnacle
Sinner has been moving through the field very quietly, but he's been beating some big names along the way, including Goffin and Zverev. He's dropped one set against Nadal's one, but he's faced much sterner opposition. I don't see him winning this, but he's a major talent on clay, with his win over Tsitsipas standing out in that regard. I like the set handicap more than anything else, because something like 1-6 6-3 3-6 1-6 is clearly in play.

    Świątek - Trevisan

Mostly when underdog beats favorit, we should call this "favorite fail" but not today. Iga was awesome, she plays like Nadal in the skirt. Halep not make to much mistake, she play regulars but Iga was on higher level. If Iga keep this level playing she can beat everybody. Trevisan shouldn't be too demanding opponent. I watched her duels with Gauff and Bertens. Gauff lost at her own request, she made a lot of mistakes, I think that age and lack of experience overpowered her skills and she lost in her own psyche. Today opponent Bertens wasn't in the best form, about her match against Errani speak everybody - it's was terrible tennis. So Trevisan wins with no-form opponent and with a bit of luck he is in quarterfinal but its over her adventures RG.

    Iga Świątek to win @1.38

I´m also today on Leverkusen, also i take the Over 3 Goals in this Game. Leverkusen played against Wolfsburg and Leipzig, who both have strong defensive Lines, but they had against them some nice chances. Today against Stuttgart who played with shacky defensive Line so far. So think Leverusen alone can score 3 Goals here.
Other bet´s for me today are the win of Gladbach and Bremen.

Sheffield Wednesday is a banker for a home win. I'm a qpr fan and are away form is shocking. Warburton struggles to get any consistency going away whatsoever.
Sheffield Wednesday minus 1.5 and maybe btts no.

Ruud to win at least one set @1.8 with bet365.
Don't think reasoning is needed on this one. Ruud is such a good player on clay courts these days. It's hard to imagine Thiem prevailing in straight sets today. I wouldn't be surprised if the Norwegian pulls an upset as well.

Tsvetana Pironkova to beat Barbora Krejcikova at 1.88 with Pinnacle
Pironkova might not be at her best on clay, but she's competent enough and this just looks like an overreaction to me. Krejcikova has done nothing of note apart from beating Strycova lately, but Strycova is poor these days and it was a derby as well. Pironkova, with a day off for training, should have every chance to beat the doubles-bound Krejcikova here.

    A. Cazaux/H. Mayot 6.90 Pinnacle 4/10
Kubot and Melo were looking horrendous in Hamburg last week and they faced pretty average team Moraing/Hanfmann (both not great in doubles) and then Peers/Venus battered them in like 30 minutes. Kubot/Melo won like ~ 40 % of their points on serve which is ridiculous for doubles matchplay. They didn't look much better in New York losing Johnson/Krajicek and Vliegen/Gille.
Cazaux/Mayot is a dangerous upcoming doubles team of prospects. They played together twice on Pro level and despite losing both matches in 2020 they were looking decent for one set against world class team like Mahut/Pospisil (even a break up there 3-1 in the first set). Both also played together on Junior level reaching the Quarterfinals at the 2020 Australian Open, 2019 US Open, 2019 French Open. They played together as Juniors and had some great success together so i assume they should be well adapted to each other on court.
This is definitely more a fade of Kubot and Melo rather than a play on Cazaux and Mayot but i like them a lot on court so i guess i like it even more to bet on them and to fade Kubot/Melo at the same time.
