Yeah a little bit. Not an easy place to go and get a result of course but Fulham have been superb lately. If the price goes up a bit I think I'll be on Fulham, as it is, I've backed Derby.

That's the bet I'm considering, odds are a tad short though. Also like the look of the odds on Fulham.

We were superb yesterday Stevie, 2-0 flattered Aberdeen. We're in very good shape at the moment, I'd back us to beat anyone. I backed Cardiff as well yesterday so it's been a good weekend for me

I'm delighted to return with another Cardiff preview here after the lads didn't let me down in midweek! It was as comfortable as I anticipated. I'm not entirely sure it will be so easy this weekend with Newport boy Tony Pulis visiting the Welsh capital once again to haunt us with his hoof ball football.
The Boxing Day appointment of Pulis as manager to succeed Garry Monk was considered a shrewd move. However, it has not been as impressive a start as the Welsh man would have hoped. His side has won 4, drawn 1, and lost 4 of his 9 matches in charge so far. The January transfer window passed with a few arrivals and departures but not enough to suggest things will change greatly between now and the summer. Consolidation appears to be the name of the game at the Riverside this season before a promotion push next year.
The Bluebirds are now re-discovering the form that saw them lead the way with Wolves earlier in the season. Neil Warnock's men are now 5 league games unbeaten and knocking on the door of the top two once again. It is a run of form that has also seen them average more than 2 goals per game in those five matches. Pulis will set up his team to smash and grab a point or maybe more here. However, this is a Cardiff side that are getting injured key players back and finding their confidence once more. The stats suggest otherwise but I think Middlesbrough will be tough to break down but I'm hoping even a solitary goal will be enough to take the win for the home side.

A draw wouldn't surprise anyone I don't think, I just have a wee feeling it's going to be our day and the odds are just too tempting.
Motherwell v Kilmarnock is a hard one to call. I've been impressed with Kilmarnock this season, especially at home on their artificial pitch. Motherwell are a tough, physical side who rely on Moult for goals. If I was forced to bet on this it would be a draw or under goals. Which players are absent for Kimarnock?
 
 
 

Alright guys, my first post for a few weeks after just getting home from my annual S.E Asia travels and I fancy Hibs today to get a result against Aberdeen.
Hibs have had problems this season creating in the final third and taking the chances when they do come along and they moved to address that in the January window. Moving on the passenger who was Stokes and bringing in McLaren and Kamberi, both scoring already, with the addition of the very talented Scott Allen we have got some serious creativity now to provide the chances, I think we have improved. The thought of a Hibs midfield of Allen, McGinn and McGeouch has the fans licking their lips.
This will be a tough, close game as Aberdeen are obviously a very good side but I think Hibs could just shade it and the odds are just enough for me to back the home win.
Hibs win at 2.62.

Mansfield look a good price for the home win against Cheltenham.

It's a Man Utd, Tottenham double this week for me, pays 2.69.
Burnley on a poor run of form and look to be slipping down the table after their early season heroics, Man Utd look improved with the return of Pogba and will be looking to make up for the 2-2 draw on boxing day. 
Harry Kane is on fire at the moment and that means one thing, Tottenham win. The double looks too easy

Manchester City vs Newcastle
There is never a good time to play Manchester City this season but this could arguably be a worse time than any for Newcastle. Guardiola's side are very much a wounded lion after that shock 4-3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. The league leaders will be keen to eradicate any suggestions of a wobble with immediate effect. Benitez's side are unbeaten in their last 3 league matches but they will be wondering how they didn't seal all three points against the Swans even though they survived a penalty shout and golden late chance by the away side to win it. Newcastle came so close to holding City to a draw when the two teams met less than a month ago. It wasn't a thriller with Benitez setting his side up to kill the game. This is very unlikely to be any different but the question will be whether Newcastle can survive without conceding for as long as they did at home? It'll be tough and it could well be asking for trouble against a City team that is keen to make amends in front of their home fans after last weekend. This game is lacking any real value but here are a couple of tips I think could come in.

The standout game is obviously Hearts v Hibs on Sunday. My first thoughts are that Hibs are overpriced, no way Hearts are favourites. There'll be a bit of transfer activity at both clubs this week so i'll come back later when it's a bit clearer.

Falkirk are a club who don't have their troubles to seek at the moment and after a couple of semi decent results got back to losing ways last time out at Dunfermline. This week sees them up against a decent Dundee Utd side and i'm surprised to see odds against for the away win. Dundee Utd at 2.15 looks tasty.

It was just a few days ago I found out it was just the premiership that's on a 3 week break, thought it was all the divisions. I have no idea why. They seem to have shoehorned in as many games as possible into December to accommodate a break in January, not caring for the fans who actually go to the games in the run up to Christmas and the financial issues that entails. The game up here is run by idiots for the sole benefit of 2 clubs, the thinking behind this is probably because Celgers and Rantic have bigger squads, so they can cope better and therefore have an advantage over everyone else. I despair at the Scottish game sometimes.

Happy with the point in the end (and winning bet) but we were poor for the first 70 minutes. You can't just sit back and defend against Celtic, they'll score eventually. Thought we'd won it at the very end with the clearance off the line.
