    Bragantino vs Criciuma
Hosts come from six consecutive defeats, the latest 2-1 loss away to Goias. It is the first team in the relegation zone. But the team has shown some improvement under the radar, not yet reflected in the results. In the last two matches, 1-0 loss at home  to nautico and 2-1 away to Goias, two realistic draws were snatched away by conceding a last-minute goal! The team is strong defensively apart from individual errors. Moreover, in the latest match against Goias, the team displayed offensive reaction after conceding and got chances to have won the match, and missing the draw through a controversial penalty to the home team. Therefore the team comes into this game more resilient and determined to correct the errors of the previous games. Coach Marcelo Veiga has two additions for this game - defender Diego Sacoman and Watson both return from suspension; though he misses striker Leo Jaime for red card in the last game.
Criciuma is in form but is severely short-handed for this match; missing two full-backs, a central defender and two key central midfielders.
Facing a desperate and highly motivated host and with key absences, I do not expect Criciuma to get a result. Home win

    Dijon vs Lorient Home Win
17th against 19th, but for me Dijon is favourite and can at home, beat a poor Lorient side. Moukandjo is still out, Waris seems not concerned, Jeannot is injured all in front of attack. Dijon has a sort of fighting spirit like they proved by à 3-3 against MHSC coming back from a 1-3. Manager Ripoll is not able to find a solution and Lorient is now struggling bottom from Ligue 1.
    Caen vs ASSE Home Win
ASSE as their color proves are the luckiest team in Ligue 1. Again, last week-end, they took the draw at home after a generous penalty in extra time agaisnt Dijon. Regarding that they played last thursday in EL, a shoort victory again, vs a poor Gabala (1-0), they may be tired and away from home they are not so efficient. Caen is a generous team, they will attack as they showed last week-end.
Mets vs Nice Double Chance Nice
How avoid that Nice is the leader of Ligue 1 travelling in Metz, comming from Ligue 2! Try Nice win, or Nice win by a goal exactly.

    Good luck

JLeague: Urawa Reds - Albirex Niigata

Urawa have dominated this series in recent years, with an 8-2-0 record in Saitama, along with seven clean sheets and a very similar 8-1-1 from ten starts in Niigata, also keeping Albirex scoreless in seven. So, in the last 20 h2h meetings, Urawa have an 80% win rate and have not conceded in 70%. The hosts currently look as strong as at any time during the course of those previous meetings and they will be looking to extend their advantage in the Stage 1 league table and seal their place in the post season as quickly as possible,, leaving them free to them concentrate fully on the AFC Champions League instead of Stage 2 later in the year.

Albirex have had a tough schedule and playing Kashima Antlers, Gamba Osaka and then Urawa Reds, all back to back inside ten days, with two on the road , is about as difficult as it gets in J-League and they will have spent a lot of time chasing the ball, come the final whistle tomorrow evening. 8 of their 14 goals this season have come from Rafael da Silva and Tasuya Tanaka, the first is injured and former Urawa striker Tanaka has only played more than 75 minutes twice in the last three seasons and has already been asked to play more minutes than he did in the whole of 2015 this season. They need to score, as they are incredibly leaky at the other end of the pitch, only relegated Shimizu S-Pulse conceded more last season and that trend has continued and they have already given up a J-League high 20 this time round, at the rate of 2.0 per game on the road. The core of their defence, which conceded eight in two visits ( league and cup) to Urawa last season is unchanged and they do not have appeared to have addressed those issues in the interim.

    Sporting - Tondela (Saturday)
Tomorrow will be light rainy day on Lisbon, which will be good for Tondela fast forwarders Murillo, Moreno, Wagner. Additionally, Tondela players usually put good performances against the big clubs. last season they got a draw here and could have won. Sporting still without Adrien which is very important player for the team coherence. Expect a good performance from Tondela and not so good from Sporting.
    X2 > 4.5
    Tondela win > 16.0
    Belenenses - Benfica (Sunday)
Belenenses facing internal issues recently involving the previous coach, the management and a player named Sturgeon, which is one of the best Belenenses players in my opinion. The previous coach decided to leave the club 2 weeks ago (prior to 1-0 to win against Boavista and then 2-0 loss against poor Académica from 2nd league, already under the command of new coach Quim Machado). The fans are not happy with the management decisions always cycling the club with many coaches on the last seasons due to internal conflict. By the way, the previous coach ( Velazquez ) was doing very good with the club and one of the reasons for the breakup was a recent issue with player Sturgeon (Management wanted to punish this player because of lack of focus on the club but the coach was not in agreement).
Belenenses probably without Miguel Rosa (important player) and Vítor Gomes both due to injury.
Benfica still without important players (Jonas, Horta, Almeida, Rafa), nevertheless I expect them to win comfortably.

    Zalgiris Kaunas - Baskonia (21/10/2016)
Second round in the Euroleague. Zalgiris lost their first match in Athens against Panathinaikos. Nonetheless I was reasonably happy with our performance. Lithuanian team has big potencial and PAO barely won the game in the last moments of the match.  After the game coach Saras was disappointed and gave big speech for his players about Champion' mentality, fighting and winning. He truly sees the potencial of this team just like fans do.
From all the interviews I can see that players understood Saras message and they have big desire to fight and prove themselves.
I am not gonna bet on the winner of this game as Zalgiris defense is still horrible and I don't have enough information on Baskonia. But what I do think is gonna happen: Zalgiris will start the game with big motivation, first EL home game, big crowd support (possibly 15.000 people), players are eager to show everyone champion' mentality. They will stun Baskonia. So my main bet is this:
Zalgiris to win first Quarter @ 1.75 WilliamHill 8/10
They have what it takes to win the game, but they still need more time together. They are lacking communication in defense so it might be hard to keep the score all 40 minutes.

As much as it pains me say it but Derby 2/1 immediately stand out against my team Huddersfield. We've lost two on the spin now, we probably didn't deserve to lose to Wednesday but at Preston we were crap, utter crap. On paper Derby are a better team than us but we know it's not played on paper. To be honest, 2/1 on Derby is a massively good price.
Other stand out prices are Brighton at 13/10 up at Wigan. Bristol Rovers 13/8 up at Oldham, Rovers have picked up quite considerably in the last month or so, they record a 3-3 draw at MK Dons midweek and Plymouth 23/20 at Newport, I know Plymouth let us down last week but they've got to fancy their chances at struggling Newport today.
Brighton 13/8, Bristol Rovers 8/5 and Plymouth 11/10 treble pays just over 11/1. (although both Bristol Rovers and Plymouth have been reigned in a little.)

We (Coventry) are not as bad as you might think. We are unbeaten in 12 home games in all competitions (stretching back to 29th March). We played quite well at home on Tuesday beating Oxford 2-1. Marvin Sordell is back among the goals and 19 year old Ben Stevenson looks a class act in centre midfield partnered by 2 form players in Chris McCann and Gael Bigirimana. Kyel Reid adds pace and drive to our left wing. Our 3-0 loss away at Charlton last Saturday was largely due to 3 errors by the same player!  Apart from that our away games have been tight games. We were comfortable away at Bradford winning 1-0 till we gave away a penalty in 65th minute which resulted in a red card. We collapsed after the sending off. Missed big chances at Fleetwood and lost 2-0 with 2 break away goals. Drew 1-1 at Milwall and beat Port Vale away who were 5 home wins out of 5 at the time.
Massive problems off the pitch with protests against the owners, Sisu. But not as bad on the pitch performance wise. Fine margins.
I like the look of Newcastle, Norwich and Villa in the championship.

Initially I was annoyed with the way Mourinho set up and played against Liverpool. But then I began to understand more...
In a busy week of Liverpool away, Fenerbache at home and Chelsea away, he could not afford to start the week with a loss. A proper hiding would have been very damaging, to moral, confidence, tactics and the team in general. It also would have a knock on effect on the next three games (Fenerbache, Chelsea away, Man City at home .... league cup). A very tricky run.
In addition a Liverpool win, would have given Liverpool so much more confidence so giving them 3 points was never really an option.
Also, by Man City slipping up against Everton, United could have a 'positive' week, gaining a point on the league leaders.
But it is pretty obvious that he does not trust some of his players in certain formations. He trusted them against Man CIty at home and they were clueless. At this moment in time he has inherited just too much dead wood from van Gaal. Terrible to poor signings (Darmian (12.7m), dePie (25m) , Rojo (16m),  Schweinsteiger (14m), would have been better served by another potential superstar (de Bryne or Renato Sanches).
Make no mistake, Mourinho wants to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge like oxygen. He has kept his ego quiet, but he wants to rub his ex employers faces in the dirt. For me this game is really the focus of his week...If you asked him if he would take a draw and a win in two away games against Liverpool and Chelsea he would answer YES. Ask him where he would prefer to win... I think he would answer Chelsea every time.
I think Zlatan is a good player, but he is coming to the end of his time. Both him and Rooney are blunting United by their lack of pace.
Zlatan is not working hard enough, and I hate to see 'lazy offside' when a striker walks back from a deep position. For me that action should be fined !
Let United rather play a 442 and play Martial and Rashford upfront (mArtial needs some confidence but scored  17 goals in  one season under van Gaal).
2 midfield starters are  automatic  Pogba, Mikatarian. Then choose  (Herera, Carrick, Rooney, Mata, Fellaini, Young, Lingaard, Schneiderlin ) for the other 2 spots. Choose accordingly. Rooney or Fellaini can play as holding midfielders, Mata and Carrick can create, Young and  Lingaard can provide width, Herrera and Schniederlin are versatile).
Standard back four with wing backs Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, and Luke Shaw. Realistically, I would like to see Fosu Mensah come in at right back at some stage. Young guy with level head and huge talent.
If Chelsea play a back three, I think they lose this game badly. They just don't have  the mobility to match a hard running midfield, that will overload them (wide), and then move the ball quickly. Terry is not quick enough, and is far more suited to a back 4. Cahill looks like he has a mistake in him almost every game.
For me United win here easily, with a Mourinho tactical masterclass.

Two teams gong in opposite directions are Stoke and Hull. Hull started with a bang, but have lost 5 of their last 6 games. Many predicted a 20th spot in the league, and I think they will be right at the bottom. The 6-1 thrashing from Bournemouth was very damaging, because it's a game where Hull would expect to compete, reasonably evenly. I think Stoke win here, probably to NIL. I would also consider the NO BTTS in this game.

I think the Monday game against United will definitely help Liverpool against WBA. How to break down a defensive opponent ? Liverpool will have to develop this side of their game, because it's going to become the 'norm' as they get better and better.  Fergie's United could do it, and understood to do it, but it takes practice and practice. One thing Klopp has brought to Liverpool is the quick start. Dortmund did it for years, and blew teams away early. I think Liverpool are playing a similar style. High press, energy, catch em early. The Liverpool HT/FT WIN WIN is the way to go here.

Swansea not won at home this season, 1D 3L, while Watford has 2W 1D 1L for their away matches

I like the look of 3 bets in the Premier League this weekend.
    Bournemouth v Spurs

Bournemouth play football as it should be played and attack they will. Spurs are obviously very solid but I sense this will be quite an open game and this bet could be a winner before half time. The ratings back the bet up with both teams having very high ratings at present.
Both Teams To Score @ 1.75 Betfair

    Arsenal v Middlesbrough

Arsenal are looking in great form at the moment, scoring for fun. They're also scoring very early in matches, so I wouldn't rule out the Half Time/Full Time bet here. Middlesbrough have it all to do and you just wouldn't want to be going to the Emirates Stadium right now, especially as a newly promoted team.
Banker of the weekend, it's just how you get as much out of it as possible. I'm going for:

    Arsenal -1.5 @ 1.80 BetVictor

    Liverpool v West Brom

Well it looks like another banker on the face of it, but West Brom are a compact team and they won't roll over easy. Only conceded 3 goals away from home.

I'm going to take West Brom to make it difficult for the boys in red, but Liverpool to break them down in the 2nd half.
