This now has to win a class 3 race and I'm not confident that it will go very well in the heavy going. I have had £1.50 win at 9/1 on Whitlock which has drifted to about 10/1. I am trying to mitigate my liability with a £2 win bet at 17.5 on Betfair. I intend to trade out of this at 9/1for a small profit. I am also seeking to back Tonyx for £2.50 at 7.00 on Betfair, currently trading at 6.2 = possible total stakes of £6.00 (I am fairly confident of trading out for a nil liability on Whitlock) 7.30 Nc This is a very open race and a case can be made for several of the runners. I am trying to get £2 matched at 15.5 (bets price 12.0 and 10/1 with the bookies. Possible total liability = £8.00 I would suggest minimal stakes today but hey, if you have managed to find a good thing don't let me stop you. RESULTS UPDATE My late bet at Newcastle did not get matched so there was a £4 loss on the day. A bit annoyed with myself for not playing the 1.23 at Fakenham properly. The balance is now £555.37 (Bank £500) Some interesting graded racing at Doncaster tomorrow and even a couple at Wolverhampton.
