Juventus vs Napoli

There was only ever going to be one game we were previewing this weekend in Serie A and it's the epic title clash between Juventus and Napoli in a 7:45pm kick-off this Sunday at Juventus Stadium. It is certainly a game that is likely to have a huge influence on where the title ends up this season.

Massimiliano Allegri's team are perched on top of the Serie A table on 85 points from 33 matches. Maurizio Sarri's title challengers are just one position behind in 2nd place on 81 points from 33 games. A win for the home side would all but seal a seventh consecutive Scudetto. A win for the away side would blow the title race back wide open.

Despite being knocked out of the Champions League under controversial circumstances there is still a lot for Juventus to be positive about. They are the clear favourites to win yet another Serie A title and they are also in the Coppa Italia Final. Yes, their draw away to Crotone was poor but that can be blamed on the hangover after the Real Madrid game drama. The players have had time to digest that now and they will be refreshed coming into this game. Rarely does this Juventus side fail to bounce back from a disappointment from the game before.

Napoli had appeared to have this title in the bag but a rough patch in March has seen them only win 3 of their last 7 league games. Granted, they have only lost once but the number of draws they have contested have seen them drop a total of 9 points from their last 7 league matches. That's not good enough for title hopefuls.

I think the experience of Juventus will see them good here. It is clear they are still hurting from that Champions League exit but that hurt can be softened with a title win and victory in the Coppa Italia. Napoli are undoubtedly fearing they have bottled it and the pressure is firmly on them to come at Juventus. I think Juventus will sit back, suck it up, and pick Napoli apart on the counter to seal a narrow win.

SPAL  vs Roma
2018, April 21, 15:00 hrs (CET Time)
Italy Seria A

SPAL
With a run of 8 games without defeat, SPAL is 1 point above the relegation places, this stretch has 6 consecutive games tied, highlighting draws against Juventus, and Fiorentina.

It remains unchanged, but the room for maneuver that the team had team has been extinguished and the remaining five games become fundamental for the permanence of the team, fortunately they have two direct against the relegation matches, but also against stronger rivals.

In this game he faces one of the four leaders and the situation has become complicated,  but they are to blame for this situations  as they have lacked the offensive power.

Roma
With attention in the semifinal match of the Champions League against Liverpool, this game is not taking due consideration, it is likely that the team will rest players to be entitled to the optimal conditions for the midweek match

The team has a similar performance at away, than at home, but stands out the performance oat away where the team has only lost 1 game this season, managing to reach the 3rd position, in Champions spot, however, this pends of a thread, since it has  Lazio tied in points and Internazionale two points, therefore they can not concede any distractions or might end up in Europa League spots.

The team has three games without defeat, only with a draw to visit Lazio. Stands out on the 3-0 home victory against Barcelona that helped them advance to the next round, but on the result the image that gave the team and its operation is what I highlight.

The team has four victories in the last six away matches, remaining without defeat in that period. Being able to maintain his goal without receiving a goal in four of those six games.

The Roma have a great staff and on individual people with the team as a team, the great work from the offices of Mochi, which together with Di Francesco, has a team with many youth players who show their quality when the opportunity. and this match could be for them, so consider that it will be an even match.

Prediction
It will be a close match, both teams have needs to attend, although the possible alternation in Roma lineup, deliver a game a little more level. However, the positive selection that brings, along with the motivation of the substitute players, the advantage to achieve a victory that would be very positive for Roma. SPAL will look to get another positive result, but it does lack the elements infant to provide a better stand.

I agree with you on Juventus victory, last time Napoli did not loss to Juventus at away in Serie A was in 2010-2011, together with the quality both teams posses that will deliver a very offensive match, as many matches between them have ended over 2.5 therefore I disagree with the under 2.5

When strong teams matchups most of the times I prefer an over 2.5 and enjoy the match hehehe.
