He looks much better on a sound surface nowadays so his last couple of runs can probably be ignored. This sharp 7f looks to suit, if he can get to the front from the 7 box could dominate this race. He won an Apprentice Handicap off 61 earlier this year but has largely been poor since then. Down to a mark of 59, he should go close if the return to the beach helps him to regain some of his form. The horse is now 6lb lower than its initial handicap mark when it finished a staying on 3rd over a shorter trip and the remainder of the runners excluding the favourite look to be a moderate bunch.
