(Stayed there a few times myself, and it's great value for money). Britannia Hotel http://www.britanniahotels.com/hotels/birmingham/ If booked in advance, single room around £47 per night and double as low as £52. Itinerary 12pm - 1.55pm - Players Meet and Join Broadway Casino, unless already a member. 2pm - £20 Pot Limit Omaha - 4000 chips with 20 min blinds (max 40 runners). 7pm - 7.55pm - Break between tournaments to get some grub. :ok There will be no buffet this time, instead we will add this money to the added value pot. :ok 8pm - £35 No Limit Hold'em - 7500 chips with 2 x 45min blinds followed by 30 min blinds thereafter (max 60 runners). Reg Fee £11 - This makes sure we have dealers all the way through on every table, and is payable only once and not in both events. Added Value Holdem Added Value will be a £1070 GUKPT Main Event seat for the winner. Omaha Added Value will be entry to a Grosvenor Poker event of players choice worth up to £220. Punters Lounge will be adding £500 to the pot too, making it a total of nearly £1800 Added Value! This will be paid via Skrill after the event, split as £350 added to Holdem and £150 to Omaha. Full details of placings payouts will be available in the card room on the day. Buy In Registration will be on the day in cash only. Ill be there, one of my fav casinos , a few of us meet up 4 times a year here from all over the uk, were actually going there on 11th august for a few days. The Boxing will def be on there, they have screens everywhere and always show any big sporting events. The best hotel to stay at is the Travelodge Broadway Plaza, its literally opposite the casino, its 42 steps (ive counted them drunk). When you go on the website, click on the saver room link, youll get much cheaper prices, currently its £42 saturday £21 sunday nights. Also the plaza has a bowling alley, frankie & bennies, pizza place, a costa coffee, chinese buffet restaurant, multi screen cinema complex all inside the plaza where Broadway Casino is. Underneath the Plaza is a huge underground car park and its nice and secure, i always use it. The car park is around £15 for 24 hours but heres a little "fiddle" we use everytime we go. On the machines where you put your car park ticket to pay when you leave, there is a lost ticket button. Press that and it charges you £12 however long youve been there. Saves a few quid!
