Re: Heniek31 on GUKPT (Plymouth) Final Table! - finishes 4th for £3,300 Thank you my friends. I still can't gather any thoughts after this marathon. Actually, I feel like after 3 days of drinking. Need a good night sleep. Still time...

Re: Heniek31 on GUKPT (Plymouth) Final Table! - finishes 4th for £3,300 I had been looking to this tournament very much. It was my last MTT (7th) of my stake and I hadn't won any money of previous tournies. No pressure huh? Most of you did see my run on Sunday. I don't have any complains at all. Played solid for 3 days. With 50k starting stack my game plan was simple. I could easily spare 10-20k by playing very loose at the beginning. I was in the pot with nearly all connectors, any pair, any 2 face cards. I was also calling any 3 bet with any pair. I cant complain on cards run at all too. My hand of the tournament was... 33. I hit trips with it 3 times on the 1st day, including one huge pot. I raised from EP to be 3 bet to 2.6k and another caller and I called as well. On the flop of 3 7s 8s first one bets 5.5k 2nd calls. Now, I didn't want to raise here to commit myself yet and just called. turn was 9 and they both checked to me. I knew in that moment, I had the best hand and I fired big bet to which they both folded. One had QQ and other over pair as well. I was chipping up with small pots to the end of the day and finished on 138k. 2nd level on the 2nd day I raised with my 33 again and rock 3 bets me. Of course I never fold my lucky hand and call. Flop 29J. We checked. 3 on the turn and I checked hoping he bets, but no luck. Turn x. Now I bet and he shoves. There is a flush on the table, but his shove doesn't makes sens, so it's easy call. His AK takes him out and me to 200k and a chip lead. And here comes my 1st of 2 bad plays of this MTT. This one is, so bad, that I'm even ashamed to mention it :eyes. I raised form EP with AQ and Ben Young 3 bet me from B and I called. Flop A92 all spades (I have Qs). I checked to him and he checked. Turn 4h and don't ask me why, but I checked again. He fired a bet and I called. 7c on the river. I checked again and he shoved. WTF? I was trying to run it all over for few minutes and the only hand I could put him on was AK. There was over 40k in the pot and his shove was for 36k (I think). Couldn't lay it down. Called and he turned over......... 7d 4d :puke. That took me back to 140k, but I composed myself pretty quick. I was back hitting good cards and taking lots of pots. and unforgettable 250k pot with AK v AQ with Q hitting the flop and K on the river. Ended up the day on close to 700 and going to the final table as a chip leader. I didn't feel pressure at all sitting in front of cameras. Actually was very excited. And you know the rest. Soon came my 2nd bad play of this tournament. Vinnie raised from LP and I called with J10s of BB. Flop came K99. Vinnie fired and I called. Turn was A giving me flush draw to my gutshot. He checked to me and I decided to take a free card. River blank. He checks, so I decided to pull a big bluff and fired huge 160k. While Vinnie was thinking, I only realised how stupid that bet was :wall. I obviously busted my draws and any K or A and is split for him , so he has an easy decision to call with his A4 :eyes. In the end I took those chips back when I called his 3 bet with my 99 and flopped the boat (933):D. With 7 left, I run my QQ to AA and was down to 28k which was one blind. I loved playing poker with no worries at all :lol. Just all in every hand. Easy game. After, I think half a level and winning 4 all ins, I was back on 600k :cigar. And I stretched that to over million at some point. The last significant hand was, when Rod (the winner) raised from UTG and I 3 bet with AQ. Didn't expect him to shove and even more to call him with the ****tiest cards in poker. He told me yesterday on FB he had 1010, so we will never know. When we got down to 5, blinds were monsters. I picked a tell on our lady and was shoving on her often :p. I was always looking at her before picking my cards. She looked at her cards and would put chip protector on them. But if she had a hand she would push her cards to the side of her chips, otherwise she would leave them in front of her chips. I remember last 2 times before I run my AK to AA, when I shoved on her I had like Q2 and J4. Nothing I could do to my exit. I would love to finish 1 place higher, but I knew I'm not going to outlast her as other guys were giving her too much respect and she was getting away with many hands and I was just played back at. Came back home very happy, extremely exhausted and haven't played a hand for the past 2 days :lol. Thank you again to all of you for a superb support (and special mention to crazy Joe for visiting me in the casino and then playing £50 turbo FO after 10 pints or so :lol). :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
