Ceahlaul has the best start from all the new promoted and they will not come here to lose. They will target a point. As home side won already 3 times at home and has just 1 defeat, Ceahlaul is aware of their power here. So will play defensively. I decided to lump on £20 with William Hill at 3.40 as the other bookies are offering an average of 2.86 (oddsportal.com). I know nothing about Romanian football but this seems like its a big fixture as WH are going to be offering live betting. Otelul Galati are in the CL this season so they must have some quality about them. Astra are in very good form (results wise) in the domestic league. Seems strange that WH are offering 4.2 on the away win and 3.4 on the away win DNB. In todays last match from 10th round in Romania, CFR Cluj is facing last placed Concordia. They trashed Mioveni 5:0 away from home with Wesley scoring three times and Adailton 2 times. The team is very well gelled together and it's improving week by week. They got couple of injuries, but all are players who didn't play in last games and are injured since the beginning of the season. They welcome back international Sanmartean who got injured against Belarus, but now it's fully fit to play. They play a 3-2-3-1 formation with Sanmartean and Adailton on the sides and Wesley in the middle at Temwanjera's back. Brazilians Wesley and Adailton are in top form, and with balls coming from the sides form Sanmartean and Adailton I see Wesley scoring again today. They are looking forward to revenge last season's game when they lost 3:0 to Steaua, and this seems like the right moment to do it, with Vaslui being in a very good form while Steaua is struggling. Steaua sacked another coach, Ronny Levy when drawing in Europa to AEK Larnaka and they have on the bench Ilie Stan, who brought them the victory against Otelul in last round. I personally wonder how long will he last, as Steaua is well known for their owner who likes to mess with the team and the players and is sacking coaches whenever they get some poor results. Steaua is having no less than 11 players missing, 6 injured, 3 doubtful and 2 suspended and any new injury or suspension might be a blow for their team. They drew two Shalke and AEK in Europe, but lost to Gaz Metan and Pandurii and drew to Sportul, a mediocre team at the moment. I've seen some of the game against Sportul and Steaua lacked concentration and spirit. Didn't see the game vs. Otelul, but after being lead with 1:0 by Otelul, they came back from behind and won teh game in last minutes with 2:1. They both have games in Europe on Thursday and a win will raise the morale for any. It will be an interesting game to watch with Vaslui attacking line in top form while Steaua might find revival with their new coach. I would be tempted to take Vaslui to win @ 2,40 as they looking for revenge but probably best bet here is Vaslui to score @ 1,40. Good luck all! Rapid fans are expected to support their team in large numbers as they did thursday in Europa League on the same stadium while Steaua's supporters are still in conflict with owner Gigi Becali especially after the 5-0 loss at Maccabi Haifa. I'm jumping on these odds so early as I am expecting a big drop. After 10 rounds, Rapid is ranked 2nd with 21 points, being 4 points behind main title contenders Dinamo Bucharest. Rapid hasn't lost in the league the last 7 games and I am very confindent when I am saying that they aren't going to be defeated on Monday. Rapid lost to Legia on thursday with 1-0 but the game was pretty tight and rapid deserved at least a draw. On the other side, Steaua is ranked only 8th in the league with 15 points earned after 4 wins and 3 draws. The main factor for Steauas low ranking is the fact that they haven't played a single game on their original stadium due to the fact that their owner refused to pay the rent. As a consequence, Steaua played their home matches outside Bucharest even in Europa League. After a 5 nil defeat in Israel, team morale is very low and questions are starting to appear regarding new coach Ilie Stan. Steaua has 7 players injured and is forced to line-up many of the players that featured against Maccabi on thursday. In the previous 6 meeting in the league, Rapid won two and drew the other 4. Rapid has the momentul and I cannot see them losing to Steaua on Monday. It's true that Sportul are winless at home and are in the relegation zone, but they aren't as poor as odds suggest. They are actually playing nice attacking football, and in a good day they can beat anyone in this league. Pretty much all the pressure here is on Pandurii who are more of a home team actually. They play offensive football on the road as well but that could actually help Sportul, who has more problems breaking an overloaded defense and enjoys counters. It was same situation last season as well when these 2 teams met. Pandurii took the lead, Sportul came back from behind and won it 2-1. Home win. After 11 rounds, Sportul is ranked 16 th with only 8 points. At home they never won and have a 0W-4D-1L record.They scored 4 times and conceded 6 in 5 games on home ground.They have a tealented young squad but which was left by one of their best, Tiberiu Balan who left a couple of weeks ago for Steaua. Pandurii was never expected to be this high with just a couple of rounds before winter break but the team is compact and is playing to win every game. With 21 points they are ranked 5th and have the chance to go up at least another spot. However, Pandurii managed only one win on away games and that was against Steaua Bucharest!!!!!! Sportul has been a team formed of very talented youngsters and was never known to play for a 0-0 game. I expect a open game and this should favour Pandurii who are more experienced and have better morale. They have changed the coach with Ilie Stan and the players show no respect for the new coach. If he tells them to go forward they go back, if he tells them to stay in defense they go all out attack. He was complaining about the situation in the press, but I think it won't stop. I think the players want him to be fired and they'll give their best to get just that. I mean, 5-0 defeat and 2 red cards against Haifa in Europa League, 2-0 defeat to Timisoara in Cup, a team from the second league. Petrolul has got some decent results lately, a draw to CFR Cluj, which is a way better team than Steaua is(under the current coach) and a victory 4-1 against Vointa Sibiu at home(not a great team, but few teams can score that many against Vointa Sibiu aaaand Vointa Sibiu got a draw against Steaua in the first games of the Championship ... should've been a victory really). I think the players of Steaua will help Ilie Stan be fired today. It's not only about that, Steaua are a poor team away from home with Ilie Stan or without him. They have only got 3 points away from home in 5 games in Liga 1 and they have only scored 2 goals. I can totally see this one ending exact score 1-0. Anyway, pure value on the homeside. He has no ideea. How can he bet on Sportul Studentesc against Pandurii ? U Cluj - Dinamo over 2.5 ? :eyes:spank:lol:unsure Rapid - Astra -1.5 ? ??? The coach of Astra is the ex coach of Rapid, so don't be too surprised if this one turns into an away win cause he knows this team very well.
