  1. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Notts County look big at 11/5. Grealish and McGregor are back after returning to the club on loan spells. They have an outstanding understanding and Notts seem to play their best when both are on the pitch. 5 games unbeaten at home against a patchy Walsall side.
  2. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > October 4th & 5th 0-1 Bet Won.
  3. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > October 4th & 5th Coventry at 23/20 at Stevenage with PP is one of the best value I have seen so far this season. Stevenage are awful conceding 10 goals in 3 games and Coventry have plenty of firepower in Leon Clarke and Calum Wilson should have well enough to overcome them
  4. Re: Aston Villa v Manchester City > Saturday September 28th Aguero out for city
  5. Re: Arsenal v Stoke City > Sunday September 22nd Mike Dean takes charge of this one. Arsenal have a 9% win percentage when he is officiating their games. There have also been 4 sendings off in Arsenal games refereed by Dean. Sending Off - 9/2 William Hill
  6. Re: League 1 > 10th - 11th August Putting this one up early Gillingham to beat Wolves - 4/1 Various I have just watched Wolves play Morecambe tonight. They have yet again failed to score and hit the target 3 times, against Preston they failed to hit the target in the 2nd half. Something is still not right at Molineaux it seems even though they seem to have a good squad. A lot is being relied upon a young midfield at the moment with them expected to create for the strikers and they just are not doing that at the moment resulting in long balls being played from the back. Gillingham played well in parts tonight despite losing 2-0 to Bristol City. Adebayo Akinfenwa missed numerous chances for his side to get them back in the game which in the end cost them dearly. Gillingham had a excellent away record last season in League 2 with them really excelling away from home as they often struggled infront of their own fans at times. They could count themselves unlucky to lose 1-0 against Colchester on opening day after conceding a 89th minute goal after Danny Kedwell had earlier hit the crossbar.
  7. Re: UEFA championship U21 Spain u21 to win to nil - 7/4 Betway Spain have only conceded 1 goal in 9 games. That is an impressive record and they have a solid back 4 tonight with Bartra, Montoya, Alberto Moreno and Inigo Martinez with the latter really impressing for Real Sociedad this season. Russia are without Alan Dzagoev who is on senior duty and he will be a big miss for them as he is the best player in the squad easily, scoring 4 goals at Euro 2012.
  8. Re: BBOTD Sat 1st June Van Percy Musselburgh 3.30 7/2 BetVictor Won last Saturday by a nose over 1m 3f to Blue Wave who also runs in the race. Was really impressive in the last furlong of that race as was denied a clear run for most of the race as the jockey could not get the horse out of conjestion and when she did it came on really strong in the last furlong. David Probert takes the reigns today instead and I expect it to well in a similar race to what it ran last week.
  9. Re: Championship 2013/14 > Winner Bolton look a good price. Had a great end to the season and Dougie Freedman will want to build on that momentum. If they keep hold of players such as Lee and Holden they should be up there. They have been unlucky with injuries in the past 2 seasons and if they sign a recognised goalscorer I cant see why their price shouldn't be taken on.
  10. Re: Next Everton Manager The market is all over the place. There seems to be so many In the know's on the subject with rumours going round everywhere. I also heard the Pereira rumour and that the job is his if he wants it and if he doesn't then Alan Stubbs (reserve manager) will take the realms. The market is crazy at the moment though with so many people seeming to think that they know something.
  11. Re: Antepost > Championship 2013/14 > Winner Derby County look a decent enough shout at them odds if they can build from last season. If they can keep hold of and develop Will Hughes, Mason Bennett and Jeff Hendrick they have 3 very good youngsters there to build round. They have signed Chris Martin from Norwich and need to improve in that striking department as the defence is very solid. Well worth a look at them odds
  12. Re: Antepost > Premier League Relegation Agree with the early shouts for Fulham. After losing Dempsey and Dembele to Tottenham at the start of the 2012/13 season they looked really light in the midfield with not enough quality. Money is drying up with Al Fayed not as willing to put his hand in his pocket. They are an very ageing side with the likes of Schwarzer, Riise, Hangeland, Hughes, Duff, Karagounis and Berbatov all getting on they could really struggle if they do not inject some youth and pace into their side. Schwarzer really needs replacing this season as his form has dipped and he is really getting on now. Riise has not been as good as he was in his Liverpool days, struggling at times and yet to hit the net in the white of Fulham. Kieran Richardson proved to be a poor signing also with him not really impressing either since signing. Hangeland is not the player he was 2 seasons ago when linked with Arsenal and looks really slow and sluggish now with his partners in defence Hughes/Senderos not really that good either. Sascha Riether is however a good player and can be seen as possibly the best player in the defence. I really think that if they do not find an adequete replacement soon in central midfield they will really struggle as Karagounis is 35 and was seen as a short stop gap. Sidwell is not the player he promised to be in his early days at Reading, Enoh was on loan and struggled to make an impact anyway. As for the widemen, Kacaniklic did do well in parts of the season but was inconsistant and loaned out in the end during the season. Damien Duff had a decent enough season but for how long can he compete at this level now for his age? Dejagah was only on loan and didn't make any impact what so ever. Obviously Fulham are best in attack with Dimitar Berbatov and the forefront and Bryan Ruiz behind him. However, Berbatov has been incosistant at times this season and has looked lazy in games with an attitude. Ruiz in my eyes in not the player I thought he would be for Fulham as he has not hit the heights expected but has still performed to a decent level. Petric hit the ground running but the Bulgarian is now seen as back up and age is not on his side either with Rodallega eating up a bit wage packet with mediocre performances. And we have seen before with Yakubu at Blackburn and Johnson at Crystal Palace that just having a good goalscorer is not enough to keep you up. Fulham have been in decline since the Europa League Final in my eyes. Yes they have signed Derek Boateng already for next season and we will see how he does but Fulham have always had a notoriously poor away form in the Premier League and that will catch up with you eventually. They do not have enough pace and and freshness to really trouble teams from what I can see at the moment and I can really see them being down there.
  13. Re: BBOTD > Monday 20th May 5 10 Redcar Correggio 7/2 Remains a maiden despite winning last time out due to being demoted to 2nd place. The horse that won that race runs in the previous one before that - Toms Anna, so that could give us a good insight into what will happen with Correggio in this one. The extra furlong should help him in this one as he kept on well in his previous run and probably would of won had it been a furlong more which it is today. It is also trainer Nicky Hammond's only horse of the day so he will be certainly hoping that it can put in a decent performance here in what looks like a weak maiden which should not need much to win.
  14. Re: League 2 > Play Off Semi Finals 5th May Scores from 1st leg: Burton 3-2 Bradford Northampton 1 -0 Cheltenham Away goals do not count in the play-offs.

  16. Re: Liverpool v Everton > Sun 5th May Everton have not won at our place since 1999. With the way Moyes normally sets his side up at Anfield I cannot see Moyes getting a victory at Anfield unless they change their system. If anyone remembers Evertons 0-0 draw at Arsenal a few weeks back this then expect them to line up and play very similarly to this. They will play defensive and probably lump the ball towards Fellaini and have Mirallas and Pienaar running off them flick ons. Otherwise, Evertons attacks could come down the wings as in Baines and Coleman they have two very good attacking fullbacks. If Anichebe starts, I expect him to try and bully the centre back pairing of Carragher and Agger and will be very physical in challenges and will drag people back and be pulling shirts. His quote of 5/1 to be carded with BetVictor is a cracking price if he starts. Onto us, We will line up probably with Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Downing and Sturridge. Coutinho and Henderson may swap at points during the game also. Henderson has been very good for us of late but is also very eager to make an impact and does rush into challenges because he is very eager to impress and his quote of 3/1 to be carded is good. Downing will be expected to track every Baines run from left back however Everton have seen more joy from their right hand side of late with Coleman being in the form of his life at the moment and Mirallas (who tore us a new one at Goodison before getting injured). I'd say anything on us above evens is well worth taking considering our record in the derby. I expect a tight affair still however seperated by the one goal probably. My Bets: Anichebe to be booked - 5/1 Henderson to be booked - 3/1 Liverpool to win 2-1 8/1. All with BetVictor. Come on Reds.
  17. Re: League 2 Play-Offs > Thu 2nd May Bradford City vs Burton Albion Bradford are trying to get back to Wembley for the 2nd time this season after the cup final defeat against Swansea. Bradford hav came from nowhere really to gain a play-off spot after looking out of the picture in February but after winning their games in hand and making Valley Parade into a bit of a fortress they finished a respectable 7th and I'd say carry the most momentum out of all the teams into this one. Bradford should be infront of a huge crowd here spurring them on against a side that are poor on their travels, Burton's last away win came 5 games ago at Aldershot who finished bottom of the league. Bradford in my eyes have one of the best players in the league in Nakhi Wells who has been linked with all sorts of clubs from the Championship and he could really be a thorn to Burton. Bradford City to Win - Evens Coral Nakhi Wells Man of the Match - 6/1 BetVictor Northampton Town vs Cheltenham Town Northampton welcome back centre back Kelvin Langmead for this one and its a certainly good time for him to make his return. He has had a excellent season this campaign being a rock at the back. Northampton have won a staggering 11 out of their last 12 home games which is probably the reason behind them being in the play offs as their away form has been diabolical. They have not been known to play the best of football this season but it has got them results in the way they play. Top goalscorer Adebayo Akinfenwa has not been playing well of late going through quite a bit of a goal drought which has resulted in him being benched in the last couple of games. Cheltenham on the other hand do like to try and play good football with the likes of winger Jermaine McGlashan pulling all kind of tricks out the bag. They have a solid midfield with Marlon Pack and Russ Penn also but however lack a real goalscorer with Shaun Harrad being their top goalscorer all season on a low tally of 8 goals. I think The Robins will come here to keep it tight and try to not let the tie get away from them and I can't see that happening. Under 2.5 Goals - 1.8 SkyBet Just a side note that away goals DO NOT count in the Play-Offs.
  18. Re: Antepost > League 1 > 2012-13 Hope you done that bet on Brentford to finish in the top 6 wibs. My selections were not far off having said Bournemouth who were promoted in 2nd and picked out Tranmere at a high price, cannot remember it now, and they started on fire and faded well off unfortunately for me. I also said that Coventry were priced too high and their financial problems would hinder them as that turned out true as they were deducted 10 points when it looked like a play-off spot was possible.
  19. Re: League 1 > 23rd - 27th April Walsall now 1.9, I'd say that is too short considering Crewe's side that is expected to play will have a handful of 1st team players anyway - Dugdale, Leitch-Smith, Murphy, Tootle.
  20. Re: League 1 > 23rd - 27th April Any reason why Walsall to beat Crewe is getting backed in heavily and is now the most popular bet being taken on oddschecker?
  21. Re: League 1 > 16th - 20th April Preston North End vs Tranmere Rovers Happy to take the home side here. They are yet to lose at home under the stewardship of Simon Grayson. They're undefeated in 6 only conceding 1 goal in the process of that run. Tranmere have lost 4 on the bounce without scoring in that period and have really blown their chances of a play-off spot coming off the boil at the wrong time. In truth, Tranmere have not been the side they were earlier on in the season where they had Jake Cassidy on loan from Wolves who was re-called. Injuries have not helped their cause with captain James Wallace suffering a long term injury and another key player in Andy Robinson picking up niggling injuries throughout the second half of the season. Preston to win - 2.2 BetVictor
  22. Re: Southampton v West Ham > Sat 13th April The Big man scores again
  23. Re: League 2 > 9th - 13th April FT: 2-0 Accrington. 1 Bet won leaves us with profit still, Accrington seemed to of not been interested in getting another at 2-0 which really was crucial in the Overs bet.
  24. Re: Ligue 1 > 12th - 14th April Valenciennes vs Saint Etienne - Friday Night Marlon Brandao misses this one due to suspension and also winger Max Gradel is out injured for this one for Saint Etienne. That means Pierre- Emerick Aubameyeng will be likely to lead the line for his side and with 17 goals this season that is not entirely a bad thing for the away side here. Saint Ettiene have not lost in any competition this year giving them an impressive 16 game unbeaten run and I cannot see it ending against an out of sort Valenciennes side who have not won in 7 games and are nervously now looking over their shoulder after this poor run has seen them only 6 points off the drop. They also have a massive injury list with 8 players unavailable for the game with ever present defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin missing due to suspension. Both Valenciennes top goalscorers Gregory Pujol and Anthony Le Tallec lead that injury list and will not be taking part in this one. Suggested Bets: Pierre- Emerick Aubeyang to score anytime 2.3 BetVictor Saint Etienne to win - 2.1 Boylesports
  25. Re: League 2 > 9th - 13th April Accrington Stanley vs Morecambe - Friday Night Preview. Stanley welcome back Francis Jeffers and Nicky Hunt for this Lancashire Derby tonight. They seemed to of turned a corner of late and are scoring freely at home of late with plenty of firepower (Hatfield, Jeffers, Amond, Linganzi and Beattie). All them players are good enough at this level with Linganzi really impressing since signing for Stanley earlier this year. Jim Bentley's Morecambe are safe from the drop here and have went into holiday mode lately with 1 win in 7. That win did come last week however it was against a Rotherham side with 10 men and Kevin Ellison won the game in the 90th minute for The Shrimpers. I think Accrington have enough firepower to see off Morecambe here and gain 3 vital points in their hunt for survival from the football league. Suggested Bets: Accrington Stanley to win - 2.45 BetVictor Over 2.5 Goals - Evens BetVictor
