Re: Romania, Liga 1 2011/12 I'm taking this bet early so odds won't drop until tomorrow afternoon. Vointa Sibiu vs. FC Vaslui Sibiu is coming after a harsh loss away to Otelul 3:0 where they did a bad game and are closely returning to relegation zone. They picked up some points in past games anyway, but that was against weaker opposition than Vaslui. In fact, Sibiu only picked up one point against top 6 teams in Romania so far and scored only one goal. The upper class teams seem to have a clear advantage over Sibiu. Their coach is aware of the fact that Vaslui is above them in class and he is hoping to at least be able to pick one point. Only two missings for Sibiu. Hmm, Vaslui.. one hell of a team I really enjoy watching play cuz they are so offensive always, it's a pleasure to watch them play. They are coming after a draw (1:1) against title rivals CFR Cluj, in a game where the referee had a big impact on the result. In my opinion Vaslui was better and that could have been seen on the field also, not to mention they played in 10 men for over one half. Even tho' they are at 8 points distance of CFR Cluj, there still might be chances considering CFR has to play other title rivals still. And anyway, Vaslui should run after the 2nd position and take a Champions League qualification spot. This is a must win game for them and they should show their class and individual skills they possess against a weak Sibiu side. The biggest loss for Vaslui is Sanmartean, but they should still possess enough firepower up-front for tomorrow, with Wesley, Adailton and Temwanjera leading the fronts. In fact, Wesley scored more goals for Vaslui than Sibiu scored in total this season. He scored two goals against Sibiu first round also and I expect him to do it today also. It won't be an easy game but I fancy Vaslui to control the ball during the whole game and put in some goals in Sibiu's net. Normally, I would have priced Vaslui around 1.70 but since bookies have them at around 2.10 I'll be pelased to play high stakes on this game. Re: Romania > Liga 1 > 2011/12 Will be backing the overs today when U Cluj hosts Gaz Metan. You should be able to get odds better than 2.20 at most of the bookmakers. Pretty confident on this one. U Cluj have ability to play offensive football at home and give their fans reasons to cheer about. With Cl. Niculescu in control the team has won both home matches with the same score 3-1. I have no doubt that they will be going for goals in this one too. The other side, Gaz Metan haven't made money for their over backers lately but a match-up like this is a moment you can bag a few goals, especially that Gaz Metan got too close to relegation zone and needs to win a few more matches and not just draw most of them. H2H meetings have had plenty of quality, we've seen quite a lot of goals. This one should be a quality one too, at least this is what I believe.

Re: Romania > Liga 1 > 2011/12 Astra - Otelul It might be too early to make a solid statement but Astra looks to be enjoying life with Rednic and as long they are playing well I do not see a reason why I should not be backing them, no matter about who their opponent is. Home side is 2-1-0 with their new coach who has made a good and quick impact, at his first match Astra drew 0-0 away at Gaz Metan while winning last two in an impressive way, 2-0 at home with Pandurii and 4-0 at Sportul Studentesc. We do notice that defense has been seriously improved with no goal conceded but at the same time they scored a total of 6 in these three matches with Rednic in control. At this time they look strong and a team that is worth of placing your money on, and this what we are going to do today when they host Otelul. The visitors have had one goal advantage at half time with Steaua but ended up losing because some players were looking like they desperately want to throw away the match and this has actually happened as Steaua made a comeback to win 2-1. We are being told that Otelul is still fighting for a European cup spot next season but I don't know how many of us are buying this. To me this is a match between two teams with no realistic objective for this end of the season. As for team news there are two players who are definitely out today, Seto Takayuki (Astra) and Liviu Antal (Otelul), both important players but if you ask me Otelul is going to miss much more their player than Astra will. Play Astra (0), you can easily find bookmakers that will give you odds of at least 2.05.

I will use maximum stakes for it, but it does not reflect the certainty of the bet, but is included in the scheme, as there is only one draw needed from the three games in order to get a profit. First game of the system is Gaz Metan Medias vs Pandurii Tg. Jiu. Gaz Metan have been very solid in the first part of the season, but in the second part they have been rather dull, being 1-2-1 so far, losing at strong Timisoara, winning at weak Sportul, while drawing both home games against Branesti and Astra, teams similar to Pandurii regarding value. Pandurii are highly underrated here odds wise. They are currently on 15th spot, but i know they have enough value to save themselves. They lost the first game this year by 0-3 due to not paying a debt, so they were not programmed against leaders Otelul. Still, after that, they went on to get draw at Urziceni and Dinamo Bucuresti, more or less deserved, while drawing against Gloria at home in the last game (were missing the main striker). So, three draws in three games in this second part of the season, and they are now travelling to a rather average team that does not need points at all, Gazu standing on 7th place at the moment. All-in-all, we should see both teams scoring in this one, as Pandurii's coach Grigoras will not defend here against Gazu. The hosts have good posession skills, but not enough to be valued at 1.70 at home. I believe the most likely result here is a draw, sucas 1-1 or 2-2. Good luck.

Re: Romania > Liga 1 > 2011/12 The odds are falling heavily on Concordia - Vointa HW, now they are in the range 1,72-1,88. But even without seing this, I would have played Concordia. In a fierce fight to avoid relegation, I know what is like when you play against your biggest opponent for relegation at home. The crowd is pushy, loud, the players are motivated 100%. Looking at the squads and the dependability of the guest team on only one player (Iulian Popa) I think that the home team has advantage. The guests haven't scored away from home at the last 5 matches and they obviously score very rarely. One more thing, Concordia's last game was huge win over title contenders Cluj. They won 4:2, with all different scorers which I like pretty much. Concordia HW @1,9 (at local)

Totally deserved win. The guests played very aggressive in the first half, but they lost strength. Their defenders were much slower than Iordache, Popa and Guilherme and the hosts could have scored even more.

I have to say that I've been thinking about this one for the last couple of days, this is huge clash, huge by importance it have and not because these two are greatest footballing sides in Romania at this time. Dinamo might have chances to win the title but for me they do not, they look so much different to first part of the season and the way they are playing their football right now is not one to give hope, they won only three games from eleven after the break, having dropped huge points at home against the likes of Sportul Studentesc, Petrolul, lost another important game to Vaslui. In last two games they were beaten away at Brasov, a couple of days U Cluj held them in a draw. And it's not only about bad results but the performance they've shown recently. They do have injury problems for this game, especially in defense where it's likely that one of their second team players will step in, key defender Moti is out. Scarlatache, Rus, Munteanu (player with most assists) will miss this game too. Defense has been weak since Bonetti was hired as the team conceded two in almost all games but one, 3-1 win over Concordia. No serious determination showed recently, no form, no confidence, this is Dinamo these days. I'll be honest about CFR Cluj, they are not playing great so I'm delighted about them, Andone hasn't made a great start with CFR but at least he's won the last two games. They don't have so many squad problems as Dinamo have. Even if they are don't play greatly, CFR still got more edges in this match-up and I'll be backing them to win this one at level ball. Can't see them getting a result against a motivated Ceahlaul. Hosts have reported two questionable players but I expect one of them to be available. In normal conditions this is an easy home win.

Re: Romania > Liga 1 > 2011/12 I got Vaslui @ 4/7 for Sunday's home game with Uni Cluj with Bet(v)ictor and put 7/10 stakes on it.Everybody's talking about the big game today between the Cluj's and I think Vaslui were overpriced.If Uni get some kind of a result today then they can further dent CFR's title hopes by losing on Sunday...not to mention it'll be their 4th game in a week and their 2nd in less than 48 hours against a team challenging for the title with a home record of 10-3-3 For 31 ag 11.....
