    I´m taking Aldershot to win.
They have a tough Shedule at the begining with Chesterfield, Barnet and Solihull and i think they are overpriced a little bit. Dag&Red showed nothing special at the moment and grab only 1 Point in first 3 Games. For me Aldershot can win this tomorrow.

Tuesday was disappointing and I think we were a little unlucky not to pick up another couple of winners with the performances some of the picks put in. I am avoiding the National League this weekend. Nothing really stands out and there have been some strange results over the first couple of weekend's. Salford have not started well and are back out to 7/2 and can be backed at over 2/1 to beat Sutton tomorrow which was I price you wouldn't have predicted a week ago. I have 5 bets though and 3 of the 4 Step 3 leagues get underway on Saturday.
    Guiseley v AFC Telford
The away side have started the season very strongly beating Southport 1-0 on the opening day and then getting a 0-0 draw at Kidderminster on Tuesday. They look set for a better season than last time around and I think they look a big price at 5/2 (188bet) to win this. The home side have lost both their opening two games and I think Marcus Bignot has got a very tough task to turn the relegated side around. If Telford can continue their good form from their first two games they have a decent chance of winning this.
    Nuneaton v Chorley
I am going to oppose Nuneaton again on Saturday. It didn't quite pay off on Tuesday night as they held Hereford to a 0-0 draw, but Chorley have started the season in really strong fashion. An opening day victory over York was backed up when the beat Guiseley on Tuesday. They weren't far away from being one of my picks to win the league so I am not surprised they have got off to a flying start and I would make them favourites to win this. The 2/1 with Marathon on an away win makes plenty of appeal.
Hampton & Richmond v Bath City
I have been in Devon for a few days and have picked up the local paper so have been reading a fair bit about Torquay and all the goings on at Truro. Bath may have lost to Torquay 1-0 on Tuesday night, but even the Torquay manager and one of the players suggested they had been fortuante to pick up the 3 points as Bath had played really well. They will surely get their first win of the season on the board sooner rather than later and this game could well be it. Hampton pushed Hemel closer than I thought they would on Tuesday, but thankfully for us Hemel picked up the three points. I certainly think Bath have the stronger squad and they look over priced at 11/5 with Bet365.
    Weston-Super-Mare v St Albans
The home side have started the season poorly. A 4-1 defeat to Wealdstone was followed up by a 1-1 against Truro on Tuesday night. Before Tuesday's game Truro's management team told the players they were quitting and although the players might have wanted to put in a performance for them the fact Weston couldn't take full advatange says a lot to me. They don't look in great defensive shape at all based on their first two games and St Albans should be able to punish them. A 3-2 win on the opening day to Hungerford was a fair effort and then they had a man sent off when a goal up at Woking on Tuesday and ended up losing 2-1. This game could well be easier than either of them so I will be backing them at 163/100 with Marathon.
    Bishops Stortford v Dorking
Oddschecker is a mess as regards for Step 3 prices at the moment so I have only looked at Marathon's prices as chances are they will be biggest anyway. Dorking have been a big market mover in the title market which I think is more than down to the fact I have put them up and I think the vibes are really strong around the club this season that they can go very close. Now they do have a few injuries going into this game, but I think they have some strength in depth and they should still have too much for the home side. As you know I don't pay too much attention to friendly results but the home side lost all 7 of theirs and only scored twice. I am happy to take the 61/50 about the away side getting off to a strong start.
    AFC Telford 1pt @ 5/2 with 188bet
    Chorley 1pt @ 2/1 with Marathon
    Bath 1pt @ 11/5 with Bet365
    St Albans 1pt @ 163/100 with Marathon
    Dorking 2pts @ 61/50 with Marathon

    Wolfsburg-Kiel

Battle for the last Place in Bundesliga 1 next Year and it will be a tough one. On other Side we have Wolfsburg who have the Pressure to stay in the League and with Labbadia a Coach where i think they isn´t good enough for the Bundesliga 1. But at least he won a former Battle with Hamburg in this Play Off Game against Karlsruhe in Year 2015. So maybe this can be a little advantage in this situation. Also they squad is specially in Offensive good enough but they showed this season nothing. Didavi is a doubt and after Media Reports he will only can sit on the Bench today. So little blow here for the Wolfsburg offensive but in last Game against Colgone they showed what offensive Potential in the team is. They won 4-1 in this Game. But there defensive is the weak one in that squad. A lot of Formation´s with different Players the whole Season made now the situation that Wolfsburg, for me, can struggle against that Team of Kiel.
On other Side we have Kiel. Amazing Form at the Moment and totally without Pressure. They are Promoted Team from 3. Bundesliga this Season and now they have the chance to play 1. Bundesliga next Season. But they didn´t need that sucess. They can play without pressure because nobody in the club have think in the past that they can reach the Play Off´s.
Kiel a team with very strong Offensive and all Players there in offensive know each other really good. They had scored 35 Goals this Season in 17 Away Games which is absolute the best in the League - the 2nd Best Team scored 29.
Also Kiel have all Players available and they love to play on counter Attack. Last Game against Braunschweig in League - where Braunschweig need the win, they have played amazing Counter Attacking Football - specially in 2nd Half. So for today i expected that Wolfsburg NEED here a Win at Home. They must made the Game and thats difficult here. For Sure they have the quality in the Squad but can they grab the win today - so Kiel can made what they are best. Counter Attack Football. So for me here today:

Today´s Game in 1. Bundesliga are very hard to predict. I´ve got no Bet´s here - but just from feeling they are Draws possible in Leverkusen-Frankfurt, Stuttgart-Hannover and Berlin-Cologne.
But for tomorrow i´ve got a bet in 1. Bundesliga.
    It´s Bremen Win.
Leipzig with some important missings for this game. Defender Upamecano, Sabitzer are also injured and Top-Scorer Werner are doubt. So also they had Game in Midweek against Marseille and out of Euro League. Morale will be down and also in last 2 Games i saw a Leipzig Team who isn´t fresh enough acutally. But now no time to Recover for the Team, because playing tomorrow against a Team who are running a lot. They have with Eggestein and Delaney two Players in Team who are in Top 5 by the Running Distance.
Also they are in good Form and after bad Season Start - with a win they will safe for staying in the League.
    So for me here:

I´ve backing Halifax against Solihull. Halifax are in good Form and didn´t play in a Midweek Game this Week - so think they are Fresher then Solihull who played the 2nd Week with 3 Games per Week. Can be difficult for them and also Halifax with a Win they can make a Huge Climb to stay in League and think with a win against Relegation Opponent Solihull they will be Safe for this Season.

I couldn't back Guiseley to win any match at the moment. They are pretty much certain to go down and it is a must win for Torquay who are giving themselves half a chance of getting out of the relegation zone. At the same time I wouldn't want to take the price on Torquay, but its priced up about right for me.

So close to landing a massive price treble in midweek with Maidstone drawing in the end against Macclesfield although a 2nd injury time winner in two days was always going to be a tough ask. Results really are all over the place in the National League at the moment and it certainly pays to pick and choose what games to get involved with and even then not get too heavily involved unless there is very good reason for doing so. I do have one bet in the division this weekend, but the main ones yet again come from lower down the pyramid.
    Ebbsfleet v Maidenhead
I just get the sense that Maidenhead are beginning to coast a little bit as we reach the tail end of the season. They don't really have anything to play for now as they can't reach the play-offs and they are a big price to end up in the bottom 4. A 1-1 draw against Boreham Wood was a fair result, but they were poor last Saturday when losing to Barrow as they were the Saturday before when losing 7-1 at Gatsehead. Indeed in their last 10 away games they have only beaten Hartlepool and Guiseley which doesn't say an awful lot. Ebbsfleet haven't played for two weeks so certainly no excuse about them having tired legs and they won 4 on the bounce prior to a 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient. They do have the odd blip at home and defeat to Chester and a 3-0 loss to Boreham Wood weren't great, but otherwise they have been hard to beat. They still have a chance of the play-offs so have plenty to play for unlike their opposition. I think the home side should be a shade of odds on here so 13/10 with Marathon makes plenty of appeal.
    FCUM v Bradford Park Avenue
The home side look a massive price here. I have written a few times about FCUM's great home form and their last 10 home games record reads won 7 drawn 2 and lost 1, That is impressive especially for a team who are in a relegation battle. It is their away form that has been the big problem, but their home should see them safe. They have played 2 games more than their opponents here, but they are actually only 4 points below them in the table which shows how congested it is. Bradford haven't won in 5 now and that includes a defeat to bottom side North Ferriby. They have won just once in their last 10 games. You get the sense after over achieving for most of the season that they are getting close to where they should be in the table. I think the home side should be favourites so the fact they can be backed at 85/40 with Marathon makes them a good bet.
    Southport v Alfreton
Southport aren't quite odds against this week as the bookies are slowly catching up with their form. Another 3-0 win against AFC Telford last Tuesday means they have now scored 3 goals in their last 5 games and have conceded just once as well. That is impressive form and I think they can continue that run against a struggling Alfreton side who were pretty poor when losing to AFC Telford on Tuesday night. With Southport having had a near two week break that should mean they are fresher than Alfreton as well. Regular readers will know I don't often tip up odds on shots but at Marathon's 17/20 I think they offer plenty of value still. Whilst I was writing the previews it was announced that Ross Hannah is joining Southport on loan until the end of the season and that is a plus for me.
    Hemel Hempstead v Gloucester City
I am going to back my own side on Saturday and it is a game I am going to as well. Hemel have threatened to play a part in the title race all season, but that has realistically gone now and they have to concentrate on finishing in the play-off places. That could be easier said than done because they have only won one of their last 6 games and they have blown leading positions against Chelmsford and Dartford. Now Chelsmford are 6th and Dartford 2nd so a Gloucester side in 12th place should be an easier test. But Gloucester are the form side in the division right now. They have only lost once in their last 9 and that came against top side Havant when they only had 10 men and even then they were unlucky to lose. Given issues off the field and the fact it looked like we were going to be fighting for relegation at the turn of the year it is quite staggering that we even have half an eye on the play-offs. Granted Hemel don't lose at home all that often, but they have lost to Poole and Hungerford in their last 5 home games so they have been fair from bomb proof of late. Gloucester are nearly 3/1 with Marathon which looks big to me as I think we should be around the 2/1 mark.
    Lowestoft v Burgess Hill
Backing a side who have only picked up 1 point in their last 9 games is hardly something you would expect me to do and usually it would be a crazy thing to do, but I have to take Lowestoft on again. Burgess Hill are bottom and a bit detached although they do have games in hand and this really is a must win if they want to survive. These are clearly two bad teams, but the bookies still haven't caught up with the problems at Lowestoft and at 16/5 with BetVictor the away side have to be worth a punt as they shouldn't be that price.
    Ebbsfleet 1.5pts @ 13/10 with Marathon
    FCUM 2pts @ 85/40 with Marathon
    Southport 4pts @ 17/20 with Marathon
    Gloucester 1pt @ 72/25 with Marathon

Apparently Hartlepool have only 12 available players. They are under a transfer embargo which I didn’t actually realise until today. Barrow have already been backed and are too short for me now given they aren’t great but certainly can’t recommend a bet on Hartlepool.

With the price have long gone on Aldershot I am just going to start a new post rather than edit the original one with the rest of my tips for this weekend. There are 5 more of them starting with a game on Friday night.
    FCUM v Chorley
I really don't understand the price of FCUM here and they look a big price at 3/1. They have won 8 of their last 9 home games and the one time they didn't they drew with Brackley. That is an impressive run of form especially when you consider they have beaten Salford and Harrogate who are the top 2 in the division and with Brackley in 3rd it proves they really can beat anyone in the league right now on their own patch. Given Chorley are only 4 points ahead of their hosts in the league and given the fact they have only won one of their last 8 games I just can't understand why Chorley are even favourites for this. That 3/1 is with Bet365 and it looks massive in a game that should see a big crowd. Hopefully they will make it a profitable start to the weekend.
    Ebbsfleet v Solihull
Ebbsfleet have become a bit disappointing really and unless they can turn things around quickly they look set for a mid-table finish. Granted Solihull are no Tranmere or even Boreham Wood, but they have lost successive games 3-0 and have won just one of their last 7. That was against Maidstone who are hardly in the best of form themselves. Solihull did us a big favour by beating Dagenham a couple of weeks and as I said then they are giving themselves a real chance of survival and Mark Yates and Tim Flowers have really turned them around. Bet365 are 11/5 about an away win and that looks a fair price.
    Hampton v Whitehawk
Hamptons long unbeaten record in the league went last week after they lost to Bath and although it seems others have woken up to Whitehawk's improved form I think they are still worth backing here. Even though they won 5-1 last weekend they were still put in at a huge price to win this, but they have been backed in which is a shame as much as it isn't a huge surprise. Still we were on them before the rest caught up! Sportingbet are 4/1 about an away win and that is still too big for me.
    Hungerford v St Albans
Somehow I made a profit on the tips last weekend despite the fact my two strongest fancies were both beaten. Hungerford were one of them and they were awful in a 4-1 defeat at Eastbourne. To lose like that to a team who had looked awful themselves I think says more about Hungerford than it does Eastbourne. St Albans had looked like they had lost all chance of winning the title, but they have really found their form again of late and on the back of beating East Thurrock 7-2 they then were really impressive in beating top of the table Dartford 4-0. In a way that result will count for nothing if they can't back it up here at Hungerford, but I think they can. I am surprised they are just over 6/4 (Marathon) as I would have them closer to even money myself.
    Blyth Spartans v Brackley
Brackley were another of the winners last week and I am backing them again here. Blyth are badly out of form at the moment having won just one of their last 7 and they have lost 5 of those. That win came against lowly Gainsborough as well which backs up how much they are struggling right now. As well as reaching the last 8 of the FA Trophy they have lost just on of their last 10 league games and they look a good price at 31/20 with Marathon to pick up another victory.
    FCUM 2.5pts @ 3/1 with Bet365
    Solihull 1pt @ 11/5 with Bet365
    Whitehawk 1pt @ 4/1 with Sportingbet

There will be more tips to come but this one I thought was worth taking now as I think the price might drop.
    Dagenham & Redbridge v Aldershot
Dagenham are in a bit of trouble on and off the pitch at the moment. Their major shareholder has said he wants to sell and put no more money into the club which has meant that some of their players have seemingly put up for sale with two being sold to Boreham Wood and Leyton Orient on Thursday. Their captain has left although he has said its due to personal issues, but it wouldn't be the biggest surprise if he turned up somewhere else. A couple of weeks ago I took Dagenham on and Solihull beat them and that means they have lost their last 3 and have just won once in their last 8. That win came against another troubled club Hartlepool as well. They were already looking like they might be dropping out of play off contention and with players leaving you have to think they wont be hitting the play offs now. Aldershot will be hoping they can still win the title and have strengthened nicely last month. They have just one league defeat in their last 10 and are looking in decent shape going into the last 3 months. I would have fancied Aldershot anyway at just over 2/1 with Marathon, but with everything that is going on at Dagenham confidence is higher and Aldershot look a cracking bet. I would make them favourites and to be honest it wouldn't surprise me if they do end up going off favs.

Going today on Werder Bremen AHC+1. Leverkusen didn´t like to play against Bremen. Look at the H2H - specially in Leverkusen Bremen allways showed good Games. Last Bundesliga Game in Leverkusen - Bremen lose 0-1 but it was solid Game and with luck it ends in a Draw. So Morale for both Teams are high. Leverkusen this season with good Form and Bremen showing good Football under Coach Kohlfedt and with the last Minute Win at Weekend against Schalke - Moral will be big. Made also some nice Transfers with Langkamp and Rashica in Winter now. Maybe Langkamp can start tonight.
Leverkusen only Draw against Freiburg and played not there best in last Weeks. So it will be a close game today, but i didn´t see Leverkusen win here in Handicap.
Also i must say - Bremen is a Cup Team. Last Years in Cup there was only 2 Options. Early dismiss in Round 1 or 2 or they made a good Cup Season and climb 1/2 Final, Final.Pressure maybe a little bit more on Leverkusen Side, because playing at Home and from Media´s they will made clear Favorite. But both have nice Offensive Quality´s.
    So for me here:

So it was a profitable end to January on Tuesday night and hopefully the final 3 months of the season will go as well as the season has so far. As for Saturday its quite a busy day tips wise as 7 teams appeal throughout the leagues and the FA Trophy
    Brackley v Sutton
I am going to start in the FA Trophy and I like the home side here to cause a bit of an upset. I opposed Sutton in the previous round, but they had enough to beat Hendon who as it turns out have entered a bit of a downturn in form. The same can't be said for Brackley who are unbeaten in their last 8 league games. That includes a superb win over Salford last weekend where they ran out deserved winners. Given the strength of Salford's squad would probably see them in the top half of the National League that win should give them plenty of confidence ahead of this game. All of Sutton's main contenders for the title our out of this already and the longer they remain in the competition the less likely it is they will win the title in my view. I know some teams in the past have combined both, but some of them had kind draws and Lincoln were just unstoppable last season. Marathon go 5/2 about a home win and although I would still make Sutton favourites I think that price is too big.
Whilst I am talking about the FA Trophy I do think Leyton Orient are a big price this weekend to win at Dover. I won't be backing it myself or tipping them up as such because I am on them to win the Trophy, but I certainly wouldn't put anyone off getting involved if you aren't on them in the outright market.
    Southport v AFC Telford
I have lost count of the amount of players Kevin Davies has bought in since he took over as Southport manager and he has finally started to see some positive results. There is clearly a bit of money at the club as they have actually purchased some of their players. Now last week they weren't great at Kidderminster, but to be fair they are looking in red hot form at the moment and Southport's improved form has mostly come at home where they have won their last 3 games. Telford have only picked up 1 away point in their last 6 matches on their travels although I should add they have played Brackley, Salford, Kidderminster and Harrogate in their last 4 away games. This in theory should be an easier game, but I think their overall form of just one win in ten says a fair bit. With Southport's improved form at home I think they are just about value at 113/100 with Marathon although I wouldn't chase the price down too much.
    Concord v Oxford City
Concord won for us last week and I am happy to back them again against an Oxford side who are struggling for form. That win obviously continued Concord's superb run of form which sees them 5 in the last 10 games form table and that is only on goal difference as they have the same amount of points Dartford have. Oxford had improved for a while, but their record now reads just one win in their last 6. They have lost their last 2 away games including at an East Thurrock side who aren't exactly in great form in the league at the moment. I think Marathon's 123/100 is on the big side about a home win.
    Eastbourne v Hungerford
This will come as no surprise to regular readers that I am taking on Eastbourne yet again. Although it was only a 2-1 defeat in the end at Concord last week they were never really in the game. Hungerford are in decent enough form at the moment having lost just two of their last 8 league games and that includes a 2-1 over title chasing Hemel. Since Eastbourne beat Gloucester I have opposed them in 7 of their 8 matches and have collected on 5 occasions and I see no reason why it won't continue to be a profitable angle. Marathon are best about an away win at 37/20.
    Whitehawk v Weston-Super-Mare
I have to back Whitehawk again. They ended up losing 3-1 at Dartford last week, but they performed really well and were probably a little unlucky not to have picked up a point. The bookies are naturally just looking at their league position and not the fact their performances have really improved in the last 6 weeks or so. Granted Weston are in strong form themselves so this is hardly a mortgage job, but I can't make the home side 100/30 shots (Bet365/Betfred) and I am happy to take a punt they can pull off another victory.
    Bishops Stortford v St Ives
St Ives were unbeaten in 5 prior to their 4-0 loss against Chesham on Tuesday night and I think they look a big price to win at Bishops Stortford on Saturday. Strangely enough the home sides last game was also against Chesham last Saturday. They lost 2-1 and were a goal up, but they had the wind in their favour in the 1st half when they went 1 up and in the 2nd half they were very much 2nd best. It means they have only picked up 2 points in their last 5 games. St Ives have actually won more games on their travels this season and I don't think there is anywhere near as much between the two sides as the betting suggests, indeed take Tuesday's loss away and you would say St Ives are in better form. Bet365 are 11/4 about an away win.
    St Neots v Chesham
Finally we got to Chesham whose only defeat in their last 10 games came against Hereford. They have won 6 on the bounce scoring 19 and conceding just 4. I see no reason why that run wont continue at the weekend as their hosts are hardly in good form. Granted they did get a 95th minute winner to beat Dunstable last weekend, but they only have 12 points and that was their first win in 6. This will be a much tougher tie and I would make Chesham odds on shots to win this so the 101/100 with Marathon looks appealing.
    Brackley 1pt @ 5/2 with Marathon
    Southport 1pt @ 113/100 with Marathon
Concord 2pts at 123/100 with Marathon
Hungerford 2.5pts at 37/20 with Marathon
    Whitehawk 1pt @ 100/30 with Bet365/Betfred
    St Ives 1pt @ 11/4 with Bet365
    Chesham 3pts @ 101/100 with Marathon

A good day on Saturday to continue what has been a pretty good month on the whole. Hopefully it will end just as well as it started and I have 4 aways for Tuesday night.
    Gateshead v Wrexham
I am rather surprised that Wrexham are such a big price for this game. Gateshead were on my shortlist for Saturday until I noticed their dreadful home form of late. Now they did end up winning and with 10 men, but then Maidstone are hardly in the greatest of form at the moment. Wrexham on the other hand have only lost 2 of their last 10 league games and are still right there in the promotion picture. They were part of a cracking 2-2 draw against Tranmere on Saturday and as long as their isn't a hangover from that they should really be winning this. I am amazed they are as big as 121/50 as I would make them favourites for the game as I think they have a class edge on their hosts.
    Halifax v Leyton Orient
I put Orient up to win this game whilst I was away and the game was called off. Nothing has changed for me since then and I still think Oreint look a good bet at 17/10 with Betway/Bet365.
    Hendon v Leatherhead
Since their improved league form Leatherhead have also improved their away form. They did lose their last game against Thurrock which was on their travels, but they had a busy month up until that game and maybe that had something to do with it. Their game on Saturday was called off which should help them as they have had 10 days off now which is probably what they needed. Hendon are only 4 points in front of them in the table and although they did come back from 3 down on Saturday to get a 3-3 draw with Folkestone they are on a little bit of a wobble at the moment. I would still make them favs for the game, but no way should Leatherhead be as big as 15/4. I would have them around the 2/1 mark myself and they have a good chance of picking up another 3 points here.
    Tiverton v Frome
Tiverton are in awful form at the moment having picked up 2 wins in their last 8 games. Those wins were against Farnbourgh and bottom side Gosport so they don't say a great deal and they have lost their other 6 including a 6-2 defeat against Basingstoke on Saturday. Frome are in much better form having lost just one of their last 6 games and they have only lost 4 games on their travels this season. Granted Tiverton have only lost 3 home games, but crucially for me 2 of those 3 have come in their last 2 home matches. I think 7/4 with Betway on an away win is value.
    Wrexham 2pts @ 121/50 with Marathon
    Leyton Orient 2pts @ 17/10 with Betway/Bet 365
    Leatherhead 1pt @ 15/4 with BetVictor
    Frome 1pt @ 7/4 with Betway

    Neubs got a reaction from StevieDay1983 in Bundesliga I & II Predictions > Jan 19th - 25th
I don´t think so that Hamburg will win here. They total out of Form and in the sqaud is little bit trouble - because Wallace want´s a transfer out of Hamburg, but Hamburg won´t sell them now. Now they have signed maybe his replacement with Kaiser from Leipzig. But he´s not THAT guy. Played 4th,3rd and 2nd League with Leipzig but not many Caps in Bundesliga for Leipzig. Think they didn´t have the quality for Bundesliga. Also i saw Highlights from Hamburg against Augsburg. It was such a crap. They played very poor and with not many offensive actions. Now they face Cologne who have big Boost in Morale now after the Win last Week. For me here DNB for Cologne is a good Bet.

For the final time I am writing this in oz on my phone so back to normal next week. I see the weather hasn’t been great so I guess some of these might be lost but I have 5 bets.
Leyton Orient continue to look decent under Edinburgh and they travel to a Halifax side who I am still unconvinced about. Over 2s on the away win looks big. Another team to improve for a change of manager have been Eastleigh and with Maidstone struggling at home this season and not being in great form in general I think the away win is much bigger than it should be. Torquay need a minor miracle to stay up and it’s hard to understand why Bromley are as big as they are and they have useful away form this season. Obviously I am opposing Eastbourne again and although St Albans are a bit too in and out for my liking given I’m on them for the league they should be much too good here and odds against looks generous. Kingstonian have made some great loan signings and it’s meant a big improvement on the pitch. I like them to make it 3 wins on the bounce against brightlingsea
    Eastleigh 2pts
    Leyton Orient 1pt
    Bromley 1pt
    st Albans 3pts
    kingstonian 3pts
