No. Value is if you think the player (in tennis) you're betting on has (much) better chances to win than Bookies suggesting. It's basically maths.
If Nadal and Djokovic playing each other and Nadal is prized around @2.0 and i give him 70% to win then it's value because bookmakers are giving him 50% and difference between 50% and 70% is big enough to pick him then.
You should deal with the topic and not claiming such strange observations about other tipsters who call some value here and there on bigger odds. It has nothing to do with bigger odds & smaller odds. Odds around 1.9 could have as much value as odds around 3.5.
In my opinion this isn't a topic which is about "to agree or disagree"....it's about facts. And fact is Value is 100% maths. How this works in the end has a lot to do with insider infos about players if you think bookies didn't take it into account what you did with your estimates.

I've told you enough times that we don't accept criticism that isn't constructive here and yet, you didn't even recognize your fault after I deleted your yesterday's post. You post picks with zero explanations and yet dare to speak against others who actually write something. I don't care that you don't have any time, because you apparently do have enough time to post here and aggravate others. While I might not agree with @vvararu thoughts on what's value, I do appreciate that he/she takes some time and explains the picks.

Being a great pusher and clay being the best surface for that, I'll go with Simon G. to win.
From the stats, we can see that Simon has been being a quite successful clay player till now. (see the attach). Regretfully, the stats from the same site does not look accurate for Andreozzi. However, I've checked and in 2018-2019 the guys does not have so many wins (2-3) against top 100 players. In 2019, yesterday's win agains Ramos was first out of five.
Of course anything can happen but I believe that Simon will piss the Argentinian off with his long ralleys.

I'd never heard of Dellien until the South American clay court swing where he got some good results. If he's going to back those results up outside of that part of the world these conditions could represent his best chance.

Claressa Shields @ 1.25 various books 10/10
Not quite on womens boxing and obviously the prize doesn't look great BUT....
For me it's great parlay material and i expect Shields to drop next few days.
IMO Shields will win that definitely. She will land the eye catching power shots. Hammer isn't bad, she's really good moving boxer with nice footwork but she lacks power AND output to trouble. Shields will fighting at home and she will land the bombs on Hammer, american judges like that and so i really can't see how Hammer will be able to win even close rounds as Shields will win them by simply landing the harder shots. Shields received some favorable decisions in the past and i doubt it'll be different this time. Considering she was 1.00 or 1.01 in the past this 1.25 looks great to mix some 1.6xxx odds with that.
I know not the best prize but value isn't always at the higher odds. I give Shields about 90-95% to win. I don't think Hammer can win any kind of decision here in the US with her style and the 5-10% on her are a lucky punch which ko's Shields. I don't think that happens but a small % is always given.

This was a very helpful post to the forum here.. I had taken Azarenka, and I'm not sure whether I bet Puig in some parlays or not, but I was confused on both matches. 
This insight is helpful to everyone, and I would like to see you post more of your picks. I have had terrible results here recently but I am going to try and post atleast some thoughts in here to pre-match even if it may not be my best picks now .. Because I try to post these at bigger odds, and they lose .. So much of the time my secondary regular picks are far stronger
So for example yesterday I thought Mager had a real chance vs Krajinovic @ 4.65 .. I didn't post it here because I'm just running bad right now.. Also one of my best picks was Emilio Gomez who took care of business of Polansky. The match was closer than I thought.  I am not sure if Polansky played really well or what exactly happened.. So the closeness of this match makes betting on Emilio Gomez dangerous in the next round vs Young because I believe that he will be a step up from Polansky.

5pts Monica Puig to beat Danielle Rose Collins @ 1.91 William Hill
Puig looks good this week and she's beaten better players than Collins has to reach this stage. The Puerto Rican is showing some signs of returning to the form that made her an Olympic champion and if she can play near that level here she should get the better of a tough competitor in Collins. The American is unlikely to make it easy for Puig and will scrap for every ball so it could be that the best play is overs, but I'll stick to the match line and take Puig to continue her resurgence in form.
2pts Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova to beat Victoria Azarenka @ 2.10 William Hill
Pavlyuchenkova has a terrific record at this tournament and that alone would be enough for me to back her as an underdog in this one, but what also sways me is her performances so far in this edition. The Russian blew Jorovic off the court last time out without so much as dropping a game and whilst Azarenka looked in good touch against Diyas she wasn't as dominant as she should have been against Kato in the first round. At the price and taking into account her pedigree in Monterrey, Pavlyuchenkova has to be the play here.
I'm also putting a point on the double at 4.01.
 

Nice one @opole. Goes to show what a bit of research can do. Also, @four-leaf unlucky with the young Spaniard - up a double break in the final set - should really have closed out. I guess that was the inexperience showing but he definitely looks a prospect and one to keep an eye on.

Actually one more - Watson might be able to take a set in her match as Muguruza seems to be all over the place at the moment. I couldn't back the Brit to win as she's on a horrible losing streak which will probably put me off even taking her on a plus, but if I had to get involved a set plus would be my play but not a games plus or overs as she could easily take a set and lose two others really easily.

Personally I'd leave Friedsam - yes she took a set from Tomljanovic but it's far too early to draw conclusions about her game after such a long time out. I like Zarazua - as you say she's had some decent results this season and she's at home. Other than that I don't have any other opinions or leans.

You can only hope that if someone is following that they're using sensible stakes and that they know ups and downs will happen and that long-term profit is the aim.
