i don't get how leipzig is so short to win and btts with the bookies. it's something like. 2.5/1. they drew 3 in a row and managed to score 1 goal or less in four of the last six. it's just ridiculous
schalke didn't impress me whatsoever in their previous match. they squad is full of such average players and nobody stands out as a match winner. augsburg is struggling especially in away games but they will not making it easy for hosts.

the only match that i have actually skipped is augsburg vs wolfsburg as it seems a bit doggy. i think wolfsburg has done really well at the start of season, keeping games very tight and drawing many but in away games they won only 5 out of 12. augsburg has had struggling season especially the latter half when they completely lost their way and looked set to go down but this long coronavirus break has done them big favour to clear their minds and start a fresh. looking at their stats they have lost only 4 out of 12 home games and picked up most of their points at home. i actually see augsburg being the stronger sides and more likely to get the win

i gotta back draw in tonight's game frankfurt vs augsburg. frankfurt are playing better in recent games but augsburg will be determined not to lose
borussia dortmund are tasty odds to win and they should do it. they have scored five goals in all three previous games and that's enough reason for me to back them

i have been waiting for while for brighton to put in a really good performance at home and after watford dropped the ball last week i'll be giving them the benefit of doubt
i've learned the hard way but this crystal palace is really dangerous countering teams quick and they hold up defensively too occasionally. everton just have crazy lapses of concentration. i'm thinking of taking crystal palace on some kind of handicap

i think alaves are genuine good bet tonight as well as espanyol on sunday. real madrid and barcelona are going to drop points. i saw a bit of barcelona in the cup last night. they have become a one mean team over reliance on messi and i don't think their new coach has galvanised them whatsoever. they have a lack of confidence and genuine lack of belief. osasuna will be all over real madrid and i'm expecting three goals in the match at least

i gave up bets on atletico madrid few weeks ago. they have not been able to score in last three games and haven't either scored in as many as half of their games this season. they don't have reliable striker so i'm sick of watching them grind games down without genuine threat in attack.

Torino have sacked coach Walter Mazzarri after being thrashed 4-0 at Lecce. Mazzarri is replaced by Moreno Longo who played for Torino in the mid 90's and then went on to manage their Primavera side from 2012-2016. He was also coach at Frosinone during their 2017-2018 campaign and got the club promoted to Serie A.
Eugenio Corini has been sacked for the second time this season as Brescia coach. He is replaced by Diego Lopez who has a fair amount of experience managing at this level although he doesn't seem to stay anywhere for long.

i watched wigan v wednesday and wednesday put in a gutless performance.
Hutchinson and Luongo were injured and fox substituted. These three are all competitors, without them the rest showed their true colours.
Monk persists with long ball tactics up to Nuhui, who though he tries is not very good.
Wigan missed a load of chances and should have won more comfortably.

    Fulham vs Middlesbrough
The Championship action starts on Friday night this weekend when Fulham play Middlesbrough in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off at Craven Cottage. Both sides are in decent form at the moment so this will be a good test of their confidence. Can the home side push on and apply pressure to the automatic promotion chasers or will the away team extend their unbeaten run to climb up the table?
Fulham currently sit in 4th place but the club are some way off the pace of the automatic promotion spots they were expected to contest this season. The Cottagers are now 7 points behind 2nd placed Leeds. Scott Parker will be pleased that his side have picked up some vital wins lately having lost just 1 of their last 4 league games. They boast the third best home record in the division only behind Preston and Brentford so they'll be confident coming into this one. However, we should be wary because they did lose their last home game 2-1 against Reading.
Middlesbrough started the season very poorly and it looked like they would either need to part ways with inexperienced manager Jonathan Woodgate or face relegation. The club's fortunes have turned around drastically lately with a run of 5 league games undefeated including 4 wins. Just 1 loss in their last 4 away league games is further proof of a Boro side that is looking rejuvenated. The last two away trips for Boro have seen them go to two of the toughest grounds in the league belonging to West Brom and Preston and win both matches 2-0.
Recent form has thrown a spanner in the works of this game. Middlesbrough are really coming strong. I do wonder what impact the FA Cup 3rd Round replay trip to Tottenham in midweek will have on them and I think that will be the defining factor here. Fulham are also doing well at the moment but have looked a bit shaky at home. I think ordinarily I would back the ELO ratings to say Middlesbrough will get something but I think playing in midweek whilst Fulham will be fresh will be a detriment.

Leicester anything above evens consider value. Brighton missing two key defenders including their captain Dunk.
Vardy will be fully rested after spending the international break also on holidays, that's a great thing. If Brighton also end up missing Trossard who missed both games for Belgium due to an injury scare, then Brighton unlikely to score more than 1

i believe this is a week for the underdogs. i can see so many upsets and red cards and all kinds of things. i typically i like to get involved when games are more stable and when you can pick up on some consistent trends however games recently have been anything but shambles everywhere. i just have a feeling this week is going to be one of those that's best avoided.

As sajtion says, this looks a very tough set of fixtures to call.  I don't have any bets in mind just yet, but my early lean is to back Sheff Utd on a +1 handicap (they are unbeaten away from home) and West Ham are up and down (down based on their last two PL results).  Sheffield are also coming off a great win against Arsenal on Monday so won't have any fear going to West Ham.
Burnley could also be worth backing, again perhaps with a handicap as this is the kind of game I can see Chelsea's kids struggling in (i.e. a physical battle in an old fashioned ground- nothing like what most of them will have been brought up with!).  Chelsea have won six in a row in all competitions, but I think this is a game where that run will end and Burnley will get at least a draw.
My gut instinct says Man U should not be odds on away from home to any other PL team at the moment, even Norwich!  But I don't know what to make of Norwich at the moment (they busted everyone in this forum last weekend by getting a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth) so will probably leave this one alone.
Palace are always worth a look when away from home to a big club, but I was expecting a bigger price than 7s.  They were 11/1 last week at home!  I really want more than 7s to give them a try, but they always pop up every season with a surprise away win somewhere, and this could be a good time to be playing Arsenal after a short week for them (played Monday and again tonight in the EL).  Will see how Arsenal get on tonight before making a decision on this one.

    Slovan Bratislava vs Wolves
The Europa League group stage games enter their third round of action this week. The first game I'm previewing is the Group K clash between Slovakian club Slovan Bratislava and Premier League team Wolves in a 5:55pm BST kick-off from the Tehelne pole in Bratislava. The home side will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the group where as the visitors will want to make it back-to-back victories in this competition.
Slovan Bratislava sit top of the group after a 4-2 win over Besiktas with two goals in injury time to seal a dramatic and an impressive 2-2 draw away to Braga with the team relying on a late goal once again to salvage a point. So it is this late fight that has given Jan Kozak's men this advantage in the early stages of this group phase. Interestingly, Slovan Bratislava had only scored 5 goals in their last 12 Europa League games but have already bagged 6 goals in their last 2 matches in this competition.
Wolves had a poor start to their season but have done well in this competition so far. Nuno Santo's men suffered an opening round defeat of 1-0 at home to Braga but then got back to winning ways with a sterling last gasp 1-0 win away to Besiktas. It leaves the Wanderers in 3rd place in the group but a victory here could take them top. Wolves have won every single one of their away games in European competition this season.
This is one of the more intriguing games in Europe this week. A side that are not renowned for doing very well every year is surpassing expectations. Yes, they've relied on late goals but they're getting the results. I just feel Wolves are loving their away days in Europe and I have a feeling it'll continue here. Their squad is superior to that of Slovan and Slovan can't rely on last minute goals every game. The absence of Ryan Bennett for Wolves is a blow but I think they'll have enough to get a win.
