5.00 Kempton: Light Of Air @ 7/1 Coral

Open race with a bit of pace in it. Bottom weight Light of Air with first time blinkers (on the flat) is an interesting contender, slightly overpriced. He's yet to get off the mark but has been placed on his two starts on the All-Weather lately, both times he finished with plenty of credit. He looked to win at Kempton when he came with a big run but lacked a bit of focus in the closing stages, whereas he loked again a bit awkward at Lingfield lto in the closing stages.

A mark of 70, blinkers and hopefully a decent pace should help massively and he has a prime chance in my book.

Southwell 3:40 : Dragon De La Tour @ 7/1 bet365 win thanks

Dragon De La Tour......from Dan Skelton yard the 6yo only had the six runs to date but after his first four runs the yard kept him off track for 11 months from February 2016 till this January 2016 when yard brought him out in first handicap hurdle at Wetherby 2m when 4th of 7 runners off 98 mark,

His other run was 46 days ago here over 2m 4f soft, when third of 15 runners behind Lady Buttons beaten 9 lengths off 97 was 2nd before last but was hanging left and one pace in run in and lost 2nd place in last 110 yards ,

The yard had more time to build strength and stamina up and that 3rd sees him back to 98 mark but Bridget Andrews is taking the ride and gets a 3lbs allowance

3.40 Southwell

Camron De Chaillac @ 13/2 Skybet

Two of his three runs since going handicapping have been promising, his third at Taunton looks to be a decent race at this level with the two that beat him both winning since.  Last time out with first time blinkers he may have run into one as his victor has gone on to win twice since.  Blinkers are left on again today, still having only his 8th run so plenty to come.  Trainer has a 26% strike rate at the track and this is his only runner, capable claimer takes off 7lb.  Slight concern is the drop back to 2m on good ground may be on the sharp side,
