5.00  Ascot

PACODALI @ 40/1 Bet365

Only beaten 3l by Awtaad on Soft ground at the Curragh last month, was a little disappointing on his last run but the ground may have been too fast that day. Step up to a mile looks sure to suit and a mark of 96 looks very workable. Draw should be fine and has Baker in the saddle which is interesting as this is his first ride for the trainer.

3.05 Asc - Long Island Sound - win at 9/1 bog wm hill

Tercentenary Stakes.......10F for 3yo, group 3

My selection is an unbeaten colt for Aidan O'Brien with Ryan Moore riding who looks sure to appreciate the step up to 10F and looks a big price

Blue de Vega has the best form in the race having finished 3rd in the Irish Gns but he's said to want better ground and looked a bit one paced in Ireland. Still only Awtaad and Galileo Gold beat him, so that ain't bad !

Other than that you have UK runners who have been running in listed races or handicaps.........maybe Abdon would be the most promising having only ran twice and open to improvement

5.00 Royal Asoct: Pacodalia @ 40/1 Bet365 EW

Still a maiden and tough mark judged on that but Murtagh won't bring her over just for the day out. Paco Boy is quite a hot sire this season who's offspring performs well on soft ground. This daughter finished with plenty of credit behind Irish 2000 Guineas winner Awtaad at the Curragh in May, though failed to win a maiden subsequently. But the step up in trip to 1m is sure to suit today and there could be still more to come.
