Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014 1.00 Lingfield Planetoid should take some beating going unpenalised for last winning run in a apprentice handicap, that was over CD. Needs to obviously back that up in a potentially better looking race. Salient might be the safer option in this field, he too has won over CD recently in a competitive 16 runner amateur handicap, always looked to be travelling nicely before going on nicely in the straight to just hang on. 2lb rise looks fair given Time Square has boosted that form. Kirby looks a strong booking and a good draw also a plus. 1pt win Salient 5/1 bet635

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014 Exeter 2:15 - Work In Progress each-way @ 25/1 Boylesports Hello George is the worthy favourite but I am willing to take him on at that price. I think the newcomer Work In Progress could run into a place here with the Skelton yard having a fine season. Wasn't a cheap purchase at £45,000 so clearly must be thought plenty of, he might lack a bit of experience but Irish Point horses tend to do well in the UK.

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014 1.10 Exeter; Saphir Du Rheu 11/10 PP/BetVic Nicholls should have a good angle on main rival Deputy Dan here, his runner Saphir Du Rheu was a top class hurdler and expected to get off the mark over fences last time when ran too freely and clobbered a fence too hard. Deputy Dan was beaten by Virak from the Nicholls camp and then finished in front of Far West also from Ditcheat, now Saphir Du Rheu would trounce either of those two so must have the edge on the Sherwood runner at these weights (Deputy Dan has 5lb penalty).

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014 2:50 Sandown Black Thunder put in a career best RPR on his reappearance but is a crazy short price against a rival who beat him off level weights on his penultimate start. Corrin Wood now receives 4lbs here and the small field should suit his front running style. His record fresh is impressive and his o my defeat over fences was in the RSA showing his class. He has the potential to progress further and is a huge danger to the favourite today. Coffin Wood - Win @ 2/1 Ladbrokes

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 5th December 2014 Sand 1.55 - Ordo Ab Chao - win at 5/1 bog ladbrokes Only 5 runners for the grade 2 novice hurdle My selection is a front runner who might well get an easy lead here. Has been pretty impressive winning 2 novice hurdles at Huntingdon, leading and quickening up to go clear This is a tougher race but he looks very good Henderson's favourite looks OK but got outpaced at Cheltenham before running on again up the hill. The extra half mile should suit him but he might not be suited if it turns into a sprint finish Nicholls runner is a mare and has been running in Mares races which tend to be pretty uncompetitive.......remains to be seen how she goes against the geldings
