Short price but ran very well at Tramore 8 days ago, keeping on well and losing by a length. That was his first run for the stable and was upped a mile in trip and not the first Longsdon has improved a horse from another yard. The horse is well bred and a relatively early season foal. Another indication that it might be overpriced in that it's not exactly friendless on the exchanges which can sometimes be a clue (ie they drift massively if they literally have no chance). Ran in group 2 class behind The Wow Signal but was outclassed and then another group 2 over 7f but well beaten. Dropped back to 6f last time to win a class 3 conditions event and now back up to listed level. Izzthatright and Explosive Lady look dangers but this season Mick Channon is 2 from 2 at Ripon with 2 year olds and showing +£8.00 to level stakes. Since then my selection has been to Goodwood for a class 2 maiden and finished 3rd (disappointing as went off favourite).
