Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd I think there is a great chance that Blackpool-Charlton will help each other out. Both will be happy to take a point and run. This way they will get far enough from the dangerous zone and stay away from League 1.They won't risk too much even though i think it's obvious that Doncaster will be the 3rd one who will be relegated because Leicester should have more than enough to see them off, even though they have been promoted for a while. In this scenario, where Doncaster loses,Birmingham needs only a point in their next 2 games-against Wigan at home, and on the road to Bolton. There are similar cases which are well documented where 2 teams need a draw and what a surprise, there it is.I hope this is one of them, the odds are fair,so does the probability.Draw @ 3.1 and a calm 0:0 and 1:1 would be my guess.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Charlton/Watford. Charlton need the points more in order to stay up, Watford sit midtable and can't mathematically get into the playoffs. Charlton have won 1/6 at home - (vs. bottom of table Yeovil) & 1 of last 5 games. Watford have won 1/9 away from home but have only been beaten away at Derby & QPR (3rd & 4th placed) in their last 8 games. Watford also without some key players & tend to concede alot of late goals. Watford have scored in each of their last 11 games, also scored 1st in each of those games. Watford's last 6 away games & 8/10 in total have seen BTTS land. Additionally, their previous 5 league games & last 6 away games have seen over 2.5 goals land as well. However, Charlton have only seen BTTS hit in last 3/9 home games - possibly due to the state of the pitch at The Valley. Bets to consider: BTTS - 7/10 +2.5 goals - 5/6 side bet - Charlton win & BTTS 10/3. Birmingham/Wigan Birmingham are in freefall, they find themselves in the relegation zone (3rd bottom) after losing 4 games on the bounce. They only have 2 home wins all season and also haven't won at home since October. Wigan also seem to be running out of steam after a long season dealing with the league, FA Cup & Europa League, but still in the playoffs and a win here would guarantee it for them. They have won previous 4/8 away matches, however, they have lost last 3/4 games. BTTS has landed in 8/9 Birmingham home matches and in 7/8 last games. As has +2.5goals. Wigan win - 21/20 BTTS - 7/10 +2.5 goals - 5/6 side bet - Wigan win & BTTS 29/10.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Reading - Burnley Having already sealed promotion to the Premiership, Burnley could be forgiven for taking their foot off the gas in this final league game. Reading, on the other hand, do have something to play for. The Royals sit in 5th position in the Championship but only 1 point ahead of Brighton in 7th so will be desperate for the points here. Despite Reading’s need for the points,I fancy the team 22 points ahead of them at generous odds of 29/10. Burnley’s recent form is impressive with 12 wins in their last 17 and boast an away record of 11-8-3. Despite occupying 5th position Reading have a very average home record of 8-9-5. Burnley have the meanest defence in the division and have 8 away wins by a goal so know how to tough it out. All the pressure is on Reading here and I just fancy this to play into Burnley’s hands. 4pts Burnley to win @ 29/10 with Pinnacle and BetVictor

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd TV previews: 4pts Reading vs Burnley - Both teams to score 3/4 Betway All the pressure is on Reading in this match but with their poor home form I can’t be backing them to get the job done. You’ve got to think they will score given the importance of the afternoon but I would expect Burnley to score too as they are playing with freedom so with that in mind I like the idea of both sides to score even at a slightly skinny price. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/reading-vs-burnley-betting-both-sides-can-score-as-reading-chase-the-playoffs 3pts Brighton to beat Forest 5/4 Ladbrokes Brighton have enough about them to get the job done here I feel. It may be edgy again like last week and it might not be without a few hairy moments but Forest look like a side who are done this season to me and while they’ll probably come out and have a little go early on once Brighton have dealt with that slight onslaught they can go on and get the win which will put Reading under pressure. Burnley certainly could be good value. A lot depends on how motivated the players are compared with Reading's.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Bolton v Birmingham Overs look pretty good value here at current odds. Bolton are in good form going into their final game. Birmingham might have to win here to stay up. So I think goals are on the cards. Over 2.5 1.73 Marathon Stake: 3 points

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd ipswich v sheff wed if the wednesday team is similar to last week i would expect an ipswich victory lee was moved to right back as buxton and palmer were missing the problem with this is he is the best player in centre midfield and the players selected last week are not of the same standard mccabe and corry while skilfull do not tackle, coke is poor, another major problem was lack of pace in central defence loovens and onyewu are slow the left back mattock is also slow and shite lee is not the quickest but this lack of pace (not as obvious as the other defenders) is less obvious in centre midfield. so i will wait for teams and act accordingly

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Just small stakes multipliers for me tomorrow. Anything could happen Over 2.5 Ipswich v Sheff Wed Balckburn v Wigan All have scored and conceded a lot recently. 1.66 at Paddypower. Same odds for Watford, whose games are nearly always over 2.5, but have a feeling tomorrow's might be tight for some reason? Yeovil v Middlesborough 2.29 at Paddypower Yeovil are poor at home and haven't won there since March the 8th. Middlesborough are good away and were on a great run until injuries and suspensions took their toll. I believe most of those players are back and I hope they'll just be too classy.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Bolton v Birmingham Birmingham may need to win to stay up but will need to better Doncaster's result so they will know that they need to attack. They have been appalling at home this season which is the reason they are in trouble, their away form has been much more impressive and they actually have the 6th best away record in the division. They will be hoping this sort of record can continue if they are going to prolong their Championship status. Although Bolton have been in good form of late, we have nothing to play for and the pressure will be off. Dougie has started to blood some of the academy in the last two games and the word in the local papers this week is that this will continue with the likes of Threlkeld to continue at right back. As a result I expect a very open game and over 2.5 should be a safe bet here.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > April 29th - May 3rd Leicester/Doncaster Leicester have best home record in league - W16-D4-L2. Doncaster have the worst away record - W2-D7-L13. Doncaster do need the points to avoid relegation, but Leicester want to get 100pts for the season. Leicester win - 1.60. Leeds/Derby Leeds have won the last 3 of 4 matches, however these were vs. teams below them - Barnsley, Birmingham & Blackpool. In their last 6, they've lost vs Watford, Wigan & Forest - all above Leeds in the table. Leeds have lost 4/6 home games, Derby have won last 2 away & 5 in a row. They are guaranteed 3rd place, so my rest a few for the playoffs though. Derby win - 2.25. Ipswich/Sheff Wed Ipswich have a very strong home record, BTTS landed in last 4 home games. Sheff Wed have conceded 16 goals in last 6 games, BTTS & +2.5goals have landed in their last 7 games. They only have 1 win in 6 & 1 away win in 6 as well. Ipswich win & BTTS - 3.70 +2.5goals - 1.70. Watford/Huddersfield Watford have lost their last 3 games (all away), but are unbeaten in 9 at home, winning 4 of last 6 home games. Huddersfield have 1 win in 10 games (away at bottom club Yeovil). +2.5goals has landed in 9/10 Watford games, including 5/6 home games. BTTS has landed in last 5 consecutive for Watford & last 3 away in a row for Town. +2.5goals - 1.66 Watford win & BTTS - 3.60. Bolton/Birmingham Bolton have won 4/6 games, whilst Birmingham have lost 5 in a row and 4/6 away games. Birmingham need the points to stay up, but I can't see them doing it. +2.5 goals - 1.66 Bolton win & BTTS - 2.37. Nottm Forest/Brighton & Reading/Burnley. Reading need a win to get 6th & playoff, Brighton need to better Reading's result to get 6th. Brighton are unbeaten in 7 games as well. Reading's home form isn't the greatest, Burnley have the 2nd best away record in the league, unbeaten in 6 away games. I'm not convinced by either Brighton or Reading, as both have struggled to secure 6th place. No bet for me in either.

Wahey! All four bets come in. Just need Man city to finish off the multiplier. But I can least i can compensate now for any potential losses. Makes up for the disaster last weekend in the conference Have only got back into betting in the last three months. Cheers to all the contributors on here! My team Luton are finally back in the football league. Seems to be at least a couple of other Luton fans here so hopefully there'll be some good info on League Two next season Cycling's the only other sport I know about, so betting on that will have to tide me over during the summer
