Nothing on the board for either of us, out kicked. Shouldn't have gone all in really, I was comfortable in 3rd with 148,000 but the blinds were 20,000/40,000. I was playing at 100 quid a spin (seriously no joke....it was the sensible thing to do trust me :lol) On my first spin I wagered 100 and got the 100 back, on the second this happend. Week started badly with my early knockout from the PL League, but has got much better, culminating this evening with winning £200 for 2nd place in a £2 MTT - if I could figure out how to get the screen print on here then I 'd shove it up (how do I do it? - do a convert it with something?) . Brings my winnings for week to about £300 mainly through fairly cheap MTT's - so winnings compared to amount risked is exceptional .... (I'm someone who doesn't like playing with his own money....). An now beginning to exceed minimum wage per hours play and its all tax free! £290 of Littlewoods cheques coming in the post. Must admit to having a lot of luck in getting my 2nd place, having got to last 20 as 19th (the money positions). Decided to go all in with Axs before the blinds ate me, someone with many more chips than me called with 66, flop was something like QQ8 , river was luckily an 8 - my A gave me the pot .... which got me into last 10 in about 6th position ... then I just played exceedingly tight and they all destroyed each other - winner (he had about 8 times my stack when it got head to head) got £300 - I got £200 .... wow..... Think I'm beginning to get hang of cheapish MTTs, starting to consistently make it into the money positions (like 7 times out of 10) ----- wish the PL league was as easy ... think opposition must be better . Whilst some of my success is due to my natural brilliance some major thanks is due to this forum - reading the advice/experiences here and applying them to my game has paid dividends. Sorry for the exuberance, I'm on a high - its malt whisky time ....... promise no more bragging till I make £500 on one event - that might be some time away. lol ... I too would like to be winning more than £500 in one tourney (coz it would give me 5 spins on Jezzas fruit machine :loon ) and am trying to progress from the cheaper MTTs to the more expensive ones to try and make that happen. The biggest win to date is $365. Although, ironically (when I consider the amount of online MTTs ive played) I won more than that when I played my first live game on wednesday, when I met our very own Jezza. Open up Word or a graphics programme you use like PaintShopPro or similar and press Ctrl+v (paste), then save it as whatever. You should see your Screenshot. He calls....YES ive won!!! er no HE calls with 4,4 and flops a four Gutted i'm down to 21k and he is now nearly level.... 12 - 15 hands later we are both about 15k and once more I get KK and call all-in he gets A,7 , calls and draws an ace...... in about 30 hands he went from being 40 times under me to WINNING jesus, I'm Gutted...Ruins every thing I ever learned and played for.... and I am SOBER Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My crowning Poker achievement to date HAS to be the PL League - ok - I haven't won a game (yet?), but my 3rd and 2nd has put me top of the league by my calculations and with the next game now tomorrow, I want to have at least a day with my name top of the tree. I got very lucky with my 77 beating the kk. Those tourneys are pretty decent value and they have the league table aswell.
