Was going well in one last nite think it was the $750 Freezeout but got stumped around an hour and half in. Was dealt A 7 of Spades so i called and the flop came out with nothing in particular , someone raised to 1200 which i called on the turn an A was put in the middle and i was starting to get a little excited but when the other guy raised again i knew he must of had an Ace in his hand like me the question was did he have a Higher card to back it up with , I had a 7 remember which is a half decent card and i was already committed to about 2k and with 3k left had to make a decision on whether to cut my losses or to continue and hope luck was on my side. The River comes and yet another A is put in the middle and i decide its now or never and go All In with my remaing chips , the old timer on his hand began tick round which gave me a bit of confidence as i was thinking maybe he doesn't have a higher back up card than me but just when my confidence was starting to grow 'wallop' he called and i we saw each others cards .. He had A J so took a nice pot of around 7k and that was that for my bid :eyes Thought long and hard about this after and questioned myself whether i had done the right thing , in my opinion I did but im still learning so can't be sure what would you guys of done in the same position ? Have been going at it hard in the last week to try and break in to the bigger MTTs. It is much much harder than the small MTTs which i do/did so well in. With all the money for my entrys i would say Im up about $800:dude . Which is mainly due to one result. I have to say in the one which i came 6th and got $300, with the top prize being $2000. It was a massive step up in the final table. No flops at all. Everything being taken preflop with raises. I just sat tightish and waited for a few to get knocked out, to get in the cash and then make an ill-fated move.
