@StevieDay1983 don't know if it's smart that I am making a storms in this part of forum. Looks that my posts are too provocative sometimes, even if I don't want that and I'm just expressing my opinion.
I think that odds on Leicester +0,5 are to high, because City is without player who could substitute Aguero Fernandinho. Chelsea's odds are getting ridiculous as on Atletico this week for example. United will have big problems with high pressure of Tottenham (but don't know how it is with injuries and suspensions there). It will be interesting to see response of Liverpool after collapse in last minutes today.

Come on. I never said that.  If anything, then Chelsea is the best team in Premier league. With best individual player as well.  I just said that I don't support the way of how they played against City. It was a big big luck that result finished as it is. Even Conte admit that. Besides I was working, learning about Conte's (Italian) 3-4-3 system for a while. And I admire it. But they didn't play that against City. At the end he won, and things are great, but of City wouldn't be so shitty in finishing things could end pretty wrong for them. Not just for this match, but also for next 2-3 matches. That's what I think.

Is this because they have put too much focus on the Champions League and their squad simply isn't large enough to cope with a fight on two fronts? I agree, their league form has surprised me. I thought they would build on last season. Not a win in 7 games now is just dreadful for a team that started the season with European qualification ambitions. They are 11 points off the top four now. It's looking grim. Hoffenheim and Frankfurt are available at crazy odds given their recent form. Surely have to back them.

Having watched United against Everton, I have to disagree with Jose.
He consistently states that United are unlucky, but the truth is, is that they are not very good. Rojo should have got his marching orders for a horrible 2 footed ankle breaker. How he can bring on Fellaini, is beyond me. The man looks like a hairy Octapus with soccer boots on.
But United were really average to poor throughout the game against Everton. One 'lucky' goal from Zlatan, but what else did they create ? Two or Three chances at most ... But they look awful in midfield. These long balls up to a front player are just so weak, and outdated. He has not found a way to get any of his starting 11 playing better than they played last year (and last year they were terrible).
Who is outperforming expectations ? For me no-one in this team exceeds my expectations. How is this possible ?
    A) The front man battles to control the ball with at least 2 defenders on them, and the 2nd defender normally picks up the scraps.
    B) The pass is just to looong and to slooow. The link between front man and midfield is too big. A perfect example was Pogba, who  had a stinker of a game.
For me Mourinho picked his strongest team today, and they were average.
As stated before, they can't put a back-to-back performance together, and in truth they deserve to be 9 points off the CL spots.
This Man United team is not capable of beating Spurs next week. Spurs are incapable of winning on the road, so that fixture screams 1-1 draw, or some low scoring borefeast. I happily stayed away from the United game, and picked up a seriously good weekend with 10 predictions winning out of 10, which is freaky

i've been waiting for st etienne to slip up and i think today is it. they draw more games than they win and their playing style is very rigid. they've played quite a few games in past ten days so today's trip away to rennes i will be backing them to concede at last two goals.

Anyone knows the odds for bet, that Chelsea WON'T be a champion this year?
If they will play 10 matches like today against City, they won't win more then two games. Every single little thing connected in they're "game". City was absolutely fantastic prepared for this match, they exactly knew where they can go throw Chelsea's defence, but finishing is terrible. Anyway I think that City will need 2 solid defenders, because Otamendi is simply not intelligent enough to play this important role in his system.
p.s. Aguero did it again! That's why I am still saying that Pep will have many many problems with this squad. Specially because they're main player is "bipolar". His decisions are absolutely sick. He want's to be best player in the world? Never. His acting on pitch is a pure shame. Everyone talking about bad, crazy Diego Costa. Okey, I admit, but Aguero is not far from that.

Barcelona is in big troubles. It's true that Ini and Umtiti could be back (Ini for sure), and I am just afraid that they will win and all the problems will be just postponed. Fact is that club leaders are doing things wrongly. Barcelona was used to work on own players but they right now they are becoming more and more similar to Real Madrid - just buying players... When I see Asensio, Vazquez and Nacho in first eleven of Real, I feel bad (I am Barca fan). There were times, when we had all the team from La Masia, but now.. Pique, Messi, Busi and that's it. Enrique is tactically maybe the worst coach in last 15 years and that, what is he doing right now is absolutely crazy. Back 4 + Busquets are playing so called possession game, when all the other part of the pitch just waits for a ball higher on the pitch. In that way every single team, yes also Sociedad can make pressure on us and cause problems. It was pure luck to win first match against City. Result was crazy high, but it could ended totally different if City would get penalty at the end of first half. On second match Barca played good, bud just for 39 minutes. Otherwise.. all they do now is ball on Messi, who is playing diagonall through ball on Neymar on the left flank, and then Luis and Leo are coming into the box, Ney is passing (mostly) to the Messi, who is scoring and that's.
If anyone read my analysis on Sociedad-Barcelona, I said "They (Sociedad) are trying a lot over left flank, where left full back Yuri and left winger Oyarzabal are really doing well and they created many goals this season (Oyarzabal has 4 assists). And because they are used to play offensively there, I see problems for them, because this is side of Lionel Messi. I predict that Enrique will try to "penetrate" over this flank, because there will be lots of space, also from counter-attacks." And what happened? In average, that's positions of players one and another team:

Rakitić is shown there mostly because he was there in offensive roles, but in defence Sergi Roberto was almost alone on whole right side and looks that analyse of Sociedad from Barca's side was really really awful. Ex coach of Barca B (Eusebio) totally outplayed Enrique! As long as Messi is here, everything will be somehow fine, but after that.. I am just really really concerned what will happen...
But on the other hand, Real Madrid is also far from decent form. They are winning, but also against Gijon they were just lucky. Čop missed penalty in 80th minutes, and everything could be different but anyway it looks that Zidane has his word against Perez, and they are somehow coming in solid shape. They have many players injured, but they are winning. Vazquez is proving that he is great player, same goes for Nacho and Asensio. Zizou knows how valuable are home players - his era had some of them and he is trying to put them together.

Match between 1st and 18th team in La Liga will be played at 16:15 on Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid is coming to match after win in Lisbon, with which they qualified for 1/16 of CL, but they still have match with BVB in front of them, which will decide who will finish the group on 1st place. This week they're playing against Gijon, and because El Clasico is almost here (on 3rd December), I believe that Zidane won't take too big risk with his injured players and that he will rest some of them. Morata and Kroos are already out. New player out is Bale who will be out approx. for 4 months, but Casemiro and Pepe are coming back after injury. Marcelo was substituted against Sporting because of injury. Zizou could rest also Carvajal or Modrić. There is also fact that Sergio Ramos is just one yellow card away from suspension so it can happen that Real will start match with plenty of rotations (out for sure: Kroos, Morata, Bale; possible rest: Ramos, Modrić, Carvajal, Pepe, Marcelo,..). Sporting is in awful form. They got only 2 points in last 6 matches, and Abelardo's team is facing a big problems. They're coming on Santiago Bernabeu without Burgui, who is Real's player and can not play against his parent club while Lilo is coming back on his right back position after being suspended in last round. Let's be honest. Real with full strength is at least 5 goals better club than Gijon, but I am sure that Gijon will play this match with 105%, crazily motivated and probably also crazily defensively. Football is improving from year to year, those small teams are getting better in better in tactics with defensive approach and counters, and if Varane and Nacho will play on centre back positions, I am pretty sure that Gijon will have they're chances to score here. Don't get me wrong, they are both fantastic players, but they're not experienced as Ramos for example, and lack of motivation or focus can be enough that Gijon will come into good position for scoring. Real will be all over the pitch, they will be much better side, but I think that final result will be with 2-3 goals difference.

Match between 12th and 15th team in La Liga Santander, will be played on stadium, where Espanyol is still seeking for first win this season. Espanyol is coming to match after win against Deportivo Alaves. They are without lost for 6 matches in row and in my opinion this match is ideal opportunity for first home win and also to continue lose less streak. They will have Leo Baptistao back to squad, so the only missing player will be Perez who is suspended. This team with Quique is getting in better shape as they were in start of the season and they are slowly climbing on the league table. 8th placed team is only 3 points in front of them. Lleganes finally won in last round. They won against Osasuna, while they were in streak of 5 loses in a row before. It's true that they finally got 3 points, but on the other hand they lost two important players - Alexander Szymanowski and Robert Ibañez who scored both goals against Osasuna. I took bets on Espanyol few times recently and I really like them. They are experienced team, with offensive minded, good coach, with pretty interesting mix of players and I believe that they will take all 3 points on home stadium this time. Away team has too much problems with injuries and they are also newbies in LaLiga and Espanyol simply needs to take advantage here!

First of all I need to say that I am trying to avoid this league, but I can not avoid this odd on Villarreal. Both teams have 5 points in group and Villarreal can perfectly remember the match from season 2014/15 where they lost 3-2. Match will start in 1 hour so I'll be short. Why Villarreal? I was reading lots of news about them and whole squad is talking about match totally seriously. Coach is used to rotate things, but nothing new, as he is used to do that for whole season. "New" players in compare with league game are Jonathan Dos Santos, Cheryshev, Pato, Rukavina, Mussachio and Jose Angel, while key players like Ruiz, Bruno, Trigueros, Asenjo and Bakambu are here. Bakambu was used only in second half against Bilbao, so I believe that he is fresh and 100% fit for this match. Villarreal is without doubt team with more quality here, but Zurich is known as a team who is playing with high number of fouls. They have 91 fouls till now in Liga Europe, what is far the highest number of fouls - second highest number of fouls is 78. So style of them is to stop Villarreal in all possible ways, but I think that they won't succeeded tonight. And I also need to mention, that Zurich is playing in 2nd Switzerland league!

@Simeon Borisof I like your way of thinking about Atletico's game. I wrote few things about them in Spain League topic,.. But if I am calculating the chances 2,25 means around 44% for BTS and 56% against, which is slightly correct IMO. I think that bookmakers are not naive and they can see that things are somehow changing.. Atletico had lots of problems with PSV last year, and IMO they won't be too shy on Vicente Calderon. But as I said, I think that odds are settled correctly here..

Match between 2nd and 3rd placed team in group C. Gladbach with 3 points less must win the match, otherwise they will be without chances, because they're last match in the group will be on the Camp Nou. Gladbach's form is disaster. They're on 13th place of Bundesliga, with just 11 goals scored on 11 matches. That's not something what was expected of them in start of the season. Schubert is still missing lots of players - Drmić, Dominguez, Doucoure, Schulz, Hermann, and because of red card against Celtic, he will be also without Korb. Some players came back to squad, but they're performance is far from wanted and in last league match they lost at home against Koln (1-2), so the atmosphere in the club is far from decent. Manchester City played one of the worst if not the worst match this week against Crystal Palace, but they won 1-2. Stones and Gundogan were rested, also Silva started on bench. Saviour of Citizens was Yaya Toure, who is back in the squad. That means only good things for City, because legs of some important players will be fresher. I believe that Stones and Gundo will be back in first eleven, and even if they won against Barca, they can not lose in Germany, because things will get complicated. If Barca win in Scotland, and City fail against Gladbach, Barca will be able to afford to play with reserves in last match and who knows.. maybe Gladbach can beat them on Camp Nou? I believe that Guardiola won't let anything to coincidence. City played bad agains Crystal Palace, and they know that. Guardiola said that matches like this happens during season, but if they will play like this, they will be far away from being the best. Gladbach likes to play aggressive, to push higher, to make pressing, but against City that could be a suicide. I think that City provides more quality and they will prove that on the pitch. Also form is concretely on they're side. My logic here is that after being behind, Gladbach will try to score and attack even harder and because of that City will have lots of space for counter-attacks, so they will have 2-3 100% chances after that and I believe that they will score at least once more.

Problem of Atletico is that they saw that they will need to adapt things for weaker opponents, because it's impossible to play with bus and on counters against them, because neither teams like Osasuna won't go out of they're box.. We saw this problem of Atletico last year in Champions league against PSV, when they needed to be in possession and they didn't know what to do with the ball. Now they are trying to play offensively, adapting to some quick transitions and also building up attacks. I didn't watch El Madrileño, but I can say that they didn't have clear picture if they will play defensively like they did it against Bayern and Barcelona last season, or they will build up the game and try to attack. To play like this against team with Bale and Ronaldo is pretty dangerous and unfortunately for them.. it finished badly.
For me, odds on Barca are fair from good ones to try with away win. They've always had problems on Anoeta, and Sociedad is in pretty good form lately.
High odds on Sevilla, but they have tough match against Juventus, and if they'll lose odds could increase...
And I think that bookmakers are still underestimating Villarreal. Barca 1,40 on Anoeta and Villarreal 1,53 at home against Alaves?

@StevieDay1983 I wouldn't be too sure about Swansea. It's true that I didn't see them lately, but I need to say that this Crystal Palace could be dangerous if they will be motivated enough. Attacking part of team is really strong, and if there is still trust in Pardew I think that I will be on opposite site for this fixture. It's true that City was without Stones, with who football looks much nicer, because of his "midfielder" abilities but anyway. They impressed me somehow, and I believe that this team won't lose points that easily.

No one outplayed Andalusians in this season. It is true that on away matches they are far from having superior results, but they are playing solid and I believe that results will come too. Deportivo is in bad form. They lose against Barca and Celta conceding 4 goals (it could be 8 against Barca), and play bore draw against Valencia and Granada. Albentosa is back from suspension and will probably start. Joselu stays as only missing, while Laure has some problems and is not 100% yet. Deportivo's biggest problem is in attack. They're hardly coming to chances and against tough Sevilla I expect that it will be even harder. Sevilla with Sampaoli looks great. As mentioned they still have problems with winning away from home, even if they play pretty solid, prepare enough chances to score, there is always something missing to grab the win. They won in Leganes, and I expect them to take another one today in La Coruna. Nasri is still not 100% fit, but will probably play, while out are Tremoulinas and Krohn-Dehli, but Escudero, who is playing on the place of left back is highest rated player of Sevilla. Mercado is available after ban, but will probably be on the bench. In my opinion levels of those two teams are far from the same. Sevilla has good squad and they're goal is to be in top4 and qualify for Champions League. With winning only home matches it won't be enough, so they will need to take all 3 points also on matches like this one is. Statistically they are better in all facts of game, they are much tougher in aerial duels, they are better also individually and if we won't see super motivated Deportivo, what I am not expecting, then Sevilla could take 2nd away win of the season here.

Monaco's coach said: "Football is always balanced, it's not like volleyball, basketball, handball, ice hockey... That's why it's such an exciting sport. Anything can happen. They will be very motivated. We'll need to play with maximum respect for our opponents in order to get the three points." That's one of the reasons why I was planing to skip odds around 1,78 on Monaco, but now they jumped on average of 1,99 and because there is nothing else then new coach in Lorient and still bunch of missing players, I decided to take 1,99 because I can see value in it. I can still remember match between Nice and Lorient this season, when I took Nice -0,75 with high stakes (6/10). It's true that it finished with half won pick (2-1), but Lorient decided a point in this match. They have some great chances and they missed 100% chance at result 1-1, while Balotelli saved Nice in last minutes of the match. The best player of Lorient was winger Jimmy Cabot, but he is one of those on missing list. Besides, they will also miss first goalkeeper Lecomte, key defender Ciani, attacking midfielder Mesloub, while winger Moukandjo is coming back to the team and will probably start on the wing. On the other side Monaco is going into the match with full power, even if they are in front of important game in Champions league next week. It can happen that Falcao will start on the bench, but they have enough of quality in attack in Germain, Mbappe-Lottin, Silva, Lemar, and other players. Kamil Glik is coming back after suspension and will probably start in central defence position with Jamerson. They will be without Toure, Dirar and Moutinho. In average both teams posses similar percentage of ball possession, both of them wants to play with high number of passes. I wouldn't bet that Monaco will take high % of possession here, but I would bet that they will create more chances. They proved that they are mentally strong also, and what is important - PSG is coming to form! They are already on 3rd place with same amount of points like Monaco, and they will almost for sure take all three points in this round against Nantes, so Monaco needs to win here if they want to stay in front of them. Meanwhile Nice will have a tough match in St. Etienne, so maybe Monaco can be also closer or even on 1st place after this round.

Match between 1st and 8th team of qualifications. Peru needs all 3 points to stay in touch with 5th place and that's the reason why I am going with Brazilians there. They proved me that they are serious team with Tite. I need to admit that I didn't see Brazilian national team playing that "team football" for long long time. Against Argentina everything worked perfectly. I know that motivation in derby was different, but if Peru will try to seek all three points here with playing attacking, offensive football as they did against Argentina, Brazilians will kill them as they killed Argentinians - with counter attacks! With Coutinho, Neymar and Jesus up front they are crazily quick and capable of creating a good chance in 5 seconds. All Brazilian lines are covered strongly, also with some really quality substitutes so I see tough match for Peru tonight. Both teams are coming with 3 goals difference win in last round, but I believe that too much confidence can be bad for Peru against this organised Brazilian team. As Dani Alves said after match against Argentina, they are playing much more team football like they did, and difference between them and Argentina was, that Argentinians were waiting that Messi will do the magic, while all Brazilians are producing magic, and with this kind of mentality I think that this Brazilian team is one of strong favourites of WC.

It's a match between 4th and 2nd team in Group D. After 3 rounds, Ireland has 7 points while Austria has 4 of them. For Austrians this is more then just important match. If they fail even against Ireland, they're chances to reach spots for WC will be in jeopardy.
Austria won against Georgia in first round with 1-2. Conceded goal against Georgia was not expected, and Austria is far from form in which they were in Euro qualifiers. I need to admit that  I expected much more from them in Euro, but everything started with red card of Dragović and lost against Hungary in first round of Euro. In those qualifications they played draw against Wales (surprise of Euro), and lost against Serbia, which was not that surprising for me, because Serbian national team is far from bad, but they have other problems. Austrians will miss Junuzović, whose replacement will be Schöpf who scored 2 goals in 520 minutes for Schalke in Bundesliga (Junuzović scored once in 799 minutes and is far from good form in this season), so I am not seeing this as big blow for home team. As mentioned, Austria at home needs a good result and I think that they have enough quality to reach it.
Ireland is coming in this match with two big missing's - Shane Long and James McCharthy. They are maybe even key players of Ireland team, and without them team won't be the same. Long is first striker of country after Robbie Keane left, while James is irreplaceable in defensive midfield duo with Stoke's Whelan. It's true that momentally they are on 2nd place, but they got 6 points from matches against Georgia and Moldova. They didn't lose in Serbia, but they were pretty poor side there, and they can be really happy with point from Belgrade.
Austria will be the team who will control the game - for example Serbians took more than 60% of possession in match against Ireland, while Austrians took more then 60% in match against Serbia - both matches in Belgrade. It's true that there fact could be irrelevant but already Alaba is player who can make difference in midfield with calm playing, accurate passings, etc. As said many times, I am confident that more possession will bring more chances, and only way where I can find Ireland dangerous are set-pieces and also there Austrians have some pretty good players in aerial duels, so I think that facts are more or less on home side and odds above 2 looks value.
