    Very nice writeups!
    Brighton
What stands out is their level of competition. They faced Liverpool surprisingly well although they blew their lead ,defeated West Ham,Leicester and Leeds
the only bad spot could be considered the road loss to Fulham a similar opponent in strength as Brentford.
I do not anticipate that they make the same mistakes and coming off a tight scoreless home loss against Tottenham on almost even money,I'm buying them
I have Brighton winning this evening 2.03-0.95  therefore expecting a 2-0 or 2-1 win

The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League is once again led by @Team Saggaas he's just about stayed in front ahead of Fred Hart's Cucina Maestros and @Wanderlust's To Haaland Back. Double figure scores from Erling Haaland, Gabriel Martinelli, and Joao Cancelo helped last season's league winner to keep top spot but the pressure is certainly being cranked up by those behind him!
Congratulations to Jon Bramall and his FC Bucket Hat team who earned an impressive 96 points this week! His decision to include Haaland, Martinelli, Cancelo, plus the likes of Harry Kane, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka paid off! The likes of Brendan Booth's action plus united and Liam Smith's Rogue Team with 92 points and 91 points respectively will feel hard done by to come so near to earning Manager of the Week.
It's also been a competitive week on the shame front! We have a first ever three way tie for the worst score of the week with the dishonour of worst total for the week being shared by @Soi Bongkot's Whelan Wonders, @Jediknight's The Little Islanders, and @ivan356's FK Metalac GM. You should all go away and have a serious chat with yourselves after getting just 29 points this week!

Bloody Championship mate! I swear we're going to reach a stage soon (and Preston have trialled it already!) where every game ends 0-0 because there is so little separating the teams at this level. I'm delighted Cardiff got the win last night but even though we deserved the win we still led a charmed life whilst almost being punished for our continued lack of clinical edge in the final third.

The old saying goes that form is temporary but class is permanent and that certainly appears to be the case with last season's Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League champion @Team Sagga storming back to the top of the table this season after his side wracked up an 108 point tally which also saw him earn the Manager of the Week award. The performances of Erling Haaland as his captain, James Maddison, and Jarrod Bowen played a key role in his team's total this week which was even more impressive considering Aleksandar Mitrovic didn't even pick up any points!
A special mention should go to Stewart Hart and his Harty Hammers team (103 points) and Michael Parkin and his Parks Allstars team (105 points) who both also breached the stunning 100 points mark. Both of those teams also managed that mammoth points haul with just 10 players as Mitrovic failed to notch up even a single point.
It's a season-low score of 18 points for the bottom score this week which was scraped together by Nev Dexter and his A2Z Allstarz team. Danny Welbeck, of all players, was the only one of his players that scored more than 2 points for him this week with the likes of Ederson, Joao Cancelo, William Saliba, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Kai Havertz all failing to do the business. It's a funny old game!
To end this week's update, I must offer a quick congratulations to Greg Nash who was confirmed as September's Manager of the Month for his exploits as Tokyo Rovers gaffer!

Single on Luton to beat Huddersfield 7/9 (SBK). Luton are pretty reliable at home and Huddersfield have been poor all season, Surprised if this isn't a home win.
Small bet on Reading (3/1 SBK) again as they continue to be underrated and I think Norwich are flattered by their points total at the moment, I don't think Dean Smith is getting the most out of them at all.

    Cardiff vs Blackburn
The Championship action is back again for a midweek dose of pain and torture but that's just me talking as a Cardiff fan. My team host Blackburn in an 8pm BST kick-off on Tuesday night at the Cardiff City Stadium. Fortunately, I'm at a wedding later so I won't be able to attend. Unfortunately, the wedding party are all season ticket holders so ensuring a live feed of the game is being putting on!
Cardiff are a team that were moving in such a positive direction under Steve Morison and even though results weren't going our way and the scoring issue was a persistent problem there was a feeling that overall things were improving. Morison has now gone and he's been replaced by fan favourite and former club captain Mark Hudson. The bad news is that Hudson is clearly not managerial material and is better-suited to coaching. It's also annoyed the fans that there was reportedly a chance to bring in Sol Bamba as a coach (he's impressed a lot of people apparently) but the board have opted for the cheaper option of Joe Ledley. Dark times. The team are down in 18th place and just 2 points above the relegation zone. We were very lucky to scab a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley on the weekend and it's now just 1 win from the last 8 league games. Enthusiasm amongst the fans is already waning.
Blackburn have been the epitome of inconsistency so far this season. I had doubts about the appointment of Jon Dahl Tomasson as their new gaffer and after their pre-season and first three league games of the season I thought I'd got it horribly wrong. Rovers have since been unable to string a run of positive results together with 5 losses from their last 8 league games. The team have also lost 3 of their previous 4 league matches on the road and have only scored 1 goal in that run as well. Even when they are winning they are struggling to win matches convincingly with 4 of their last 5 victories coming by a single goal. They do still have prolific scorer Ben Brereton Diaz in their squad though after fending off all suitors on transfer deadline day so with him they always have a chance.
I'm going to have to say that I can see Blackburn winning this one by a single goal. Cardiff just look even more cautious and negative now than we did under Morison. I really don't think Hudson is the man for the main job, as much as I like him, and I can see us just wasting opportunities to get points on the board whilst he's in caretaker charge. We should be going out to lure Rob Edwards or Chris Wilder but our board won't fork out the money for them. Blackburn to win here, hardly any action or goals. Another backwards step. Isn't football great!

    Leicester vs Nottingham Forest
The Premier League offers a Monday night game with the 8pm BST start between Leicester and Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium. I'm not saying that this is already a relegation six-pointer but if a team loses this game then they will be within their right to press that panic button. Does either team have the capabilities or self-belief to actually win this match though?
Leicester are having a season to forget and Brendan Rodgers, despite being one of the most highly-rated British head coaches in the game, is being tipped as a favourite to face the axe next unless results improve dramatically. The Foxes are down at the bottom of the table with just 1 point earned from their 7 league games so far and the longer the wait for a league victory goes on the harder it becomes to break this winless streak. It is the club's worst start to a league season. If Leicester lose here then it'll be the first time since 2001/02 that they would've lost each of their opening 4 league games at home. They finished bottom that season. The 22 goals that Leicester have conceded so far this season is the most amount of goals conceded by a top flight team after 7 games since 1965/66. It's even more alarming that Leicester have conceded 50% of those goals in their last 2 league games.
Nottingham Forest have an opportunity to end their 4-game losing streak here as the team lie down in 19th place and just 3 points off the foot of the table. Steve Cooper's side are conceding goals en masse right now with 12 goals conceded in their last 3 league matches. The Tricky Trees haven't managed to pick up a win on the road yet this season and you wonder how long the hierarchy will wait before feeling like the £150 million transfer budget spent isn't returning what they want. There is a risk that Forest could suffer five straight defeats in the league for the first time since 2004. Interestingly, each of the last 9 league goals conceded by Forest have come in the second half of their games so there is maybe something for Cooper to work with.
My immediate thought for this game is that it provides Leicester with an ideal chance to get their season started. Although I have read that Nottingham Forest have lost just 1 of their last 6 Premier League encounters with Leicester. Forest did pull off a one-sided 4-1 win in the FA Cup last season when they were a Championship side but I do feel that maybe their morale might have taken a hit already. Unless something changes dramatically it could be a long and hard season for Forest which could continue here.

    Atalanta vs Fiorentina
Atalanta fans will want a repeat of their previous result, a 1-0 Serie A triumph versus Roma. That triumph got La Dea back to the winning track after spilling two points in a draw against Cremonese. The home side is joint-first in Serie A with Napoli, being one point ahead of the third-placed Udinese. Under three goals per match were seen in 5 of the last six meetings where Atalanta have been involved. Regarding the goal attribution from this period, their opponents scored a total of 3, and Atalanta got themselves nine. The hosts want to continue in the same fashion and stay on the top of the table after this weekend.
Fiorentina goes into this clash following a 2-0 Serie A win with the defeat of Hellas Verona in their previous match. It was their first win after eight winless matches in all competitions. The numbers tell their own story, and Fiorentina has been scored against in 5 of their last six games, seeing their opponents hit eight goals in total. At the back, Fiorentina can certainly do much better. Heading into this fixture, Fiorentina has not won away from home in their last six league matches. Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano has to choose from a squad that has some fitness concerns. Dodô (Disrupted Calf Muscle), Nikola Milenković (Adductor problems), and Gaetano Castrovilli (Knee Surgery) can’t be considered.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Atalanta has been in a much better momentum, and we believe the hosts can pick up where they left off before the international break. Therefore, we are going to back La Dea to win and get another three points.
    Goals Market Prediction
Football fans could enjoy their previous head-to-head clashes since ten of the last 11 produced at least three goals in total. We expect another efficient match that should go over a 2.5 margin.

    Inter vs Roma
Inter wants a better result here after the 3-1 Serie A defeat last time out to Udinese. It was their third loss in seven rounds, and Nerazzurri slipped down to 7th place, being five points behind Napoli and Atalanta. Simone Inzaghi's Inter has netted a sum total of 9 times over their past six outings. On the other end, the number of goals they conceded in that time is nine. The hosts need to stabilize their game as soon as possible if they want to challenge Scudetto at the end of the campaign. Gabriel Brazão (Cruciate Ligament Rupture), Marcelo Brozovic (Muscular problems), Dalbert (Cruciate Ligament Injury), Hakan Calhanoglu (Muscular problems), and Romelu Lukaku (Muscular problems) will not be able to play for Inter boss Simone Inzaghi. Marcelo Brozovic cannot play in this game through suspension.
Since suffering a loss in their previous game against Atalanta in Serie A action, Roma and their traveling supporters will be hoping that they can get a better result in this one. Giallorossi sit in 6th place, being one point ahead of their upcoming opponent. Three or more goals have been hit in as many as five out of the previous 6 clashes involving Roma. The average goals scored per match in that spell is 2.83, with the average number of goals for Roma standing at 1.5. Heading into this fixture, Roma hasn't beaten Inter in away games against them for the last five matches in the league. They really have not been traveling well at all. However, they hope to exploit the rival's poor form and return home with a victory.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Both teams have been struggling lately, and we don’t have confidence in each of them to secure a win in this encounter. Therefore, a draw should be the most realistic outcome of this interesting clash.
    Goals Market Prediction
Inter’s defense has been pretty leaky as it has already allowed 11 goals in seven rounds. BTTS Yes cashed four times on the previous six occasions between these two teams, and this one shouldn’t be much different.

    Manchester City vs Manchester United
It's another big game this weekend in the 2pm BST kick-off on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League as Manchester City host Manchester United in the first Manchester Derby of the season at the Etihad Stadium. The home team will be keen to stop Arsenal from breaking away at the top of the table but they take on an ever-improving visiting team who are beginning to show signs of returning to their glory days.
Manchester City may well be the favourites to win the league and retain their title this season but after Arsenal's impressive 3-1 win over Tottenham in the North London Derby they are now 4 points adrift of the league leaders. Pep Guardiola's side won't be panicking though. They've been here before. The Citizens are unbeaten in their 7 league games played so far with 5 wins and 2 draws having also scored a division-high 23 goals in that period. There is a chance for City to become the first team to win 8 home league games in a row whilst scoring at least 3 goals in each win since Tottenham managed it back in 1965. Erling Haaland is the obvious pick for anytime scorer and you might even want to double or triple that because he's scored 12 league goals already and could become the first player to score three hat-tricks in consecutive home games in the Premier League. The one stat that does hang in the background is that Guardiola has lost 3 of his 4 league matches against United at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester United know that they are moving in the right direction with the team now up to 6th place after 4 league wins in a row. Erik ten Hag's influence is beginning show for the Red Devils. An improvement in the defensive displays has been key for United's upturn in form with the team conceding just 2 goals during that 4 game winning spell. Unfortunately, each of the last five United managers have lost their first encounter with City with Sir Alex Ferguson being the last gaffer to buck that trend back in 1987. The optimism can be found in the fact that ten Hag had a decent record in Der Klassieker against Feyenoord during his time with Ajax winning 8 of his 9 domestic matches against them. Will this also finally be the game where Cristiano Ronaldo notches up his 700th career goal? The Portuguese front man will likely be a substitute again and has only scored 4 goals in his 12 matches against Manchester City but he is the big man for the big occasion.
It's been back-to-back wins for Manchester City against Manchester United and they could make it three wins in a row for the first time since 2014. This fixture has seen the away team win on 21 occasions. No fixture at this level has seen the away team win more times. I think this game will be a closer encounter than it would've been 4-5 weeks ago but these sides are still some distance apart. I'm backing a City win with both teams to score.
Manchester City to Win & BTTS @ 2.75 with Bet365
Erling Haaland to Score 2 or More Goals @ 4.00 with Bet365

Fingers crossed this has appeased the board and fans of Dynamo CamSmith FC and that instead they are more distracted by the England international team and Harry Maguire's Circus clown antics instead.

Apologies for the delay in getting this up. I've been on annual leave but back now! The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League has a new leader at the top of the table after @StevenKing and his warning hazchem side stormed to the summit. His front three of Alexander Isak, Gabriel Jesus, and Erling Haaland is really doing the business. Allan Woods will feel his team name quite literally with this week being a steep learning curve as they dropped to 7th place after leading the way last week.
Congratulations to Greg Nash and his Tokyo Rovers team who smashed their way to the top score of the week with 92 points. His decision to captain Son Heung-min proved to be a stroke of genius and his defensive line and keeper also delivered a whopping 33 points between them. He pipped @MinellaWorksop's Dynamo CamSmith FC who hit 91 points in a complete turnaround of fortunes from recent weeks. Welcome to the party Stuart!
It's time to all point and laugh (checks notes to make sure it's not me) at the team with the lowest score this week! @Zidane123's Manchester United 77 could only muster 21 points on a dry week. Four of his players didn't even have a game scheduled thanks to the postponements so it's a tough knock for Shuaib and he'll be looking to bounce back this week!

    Italy vs England
The focus of attention turns to League A Group 3 on Friday night when European football giants Italy and England go head-to-head in a 7:45pm BST clash at the San Siro in Milan. These two nations are in a battle for their lives to avoid relegation to League B but the pressure is certainly more on the away team to get a win than the home side. Which way will this one go?
Italy were kings of Europe just over a year ago as they stormed to the European Championship crown but it's not all been plain sailing since then. Head coach Roberto Mancini has witnessed his team slip into a spell of inconsistency since their major tournament win with the team winning just 4 of their 14 matches played since that victory on penalties at Wembley against England. The Azzurri are 3rd in this group having managed just 1 win from their 4 group games thus far. It's also just 1 win from their last 4 home matches played which is disappointing form for a team that prided itself on their home record not so long ago. It will also be a concern for Mancini that his team have conceded 7 goals in their UEFA Nations League matches so far.
England know that nothing less than a win here will do. It's been a very poor UEFA Nations League campaign for Gareth Southgate's men so far. The Three Lions sit bottom of the group with just 2 points from their 4 group games. They are 3 points adrift of their opponents who occupy 3rd position so even a draw would be problematic due to England's inferior goal difference. It's 4 matches without a win for England and the team have failed to even score in 3 of those games. The last outing was a terrible 4-0 home defeat to Hungary. It's a big slump in form for a team that stormed to the European Championship final in 2021 and to the World Cup semi-finals in 2018. If England fail to win this one then it piles a lot of pressure on Southgate to deliver at the World Cup this winter.
It's just 1 win from the last 10 meetings for England against Italy and that record is even worse across competitive action with the English not beating the Italians in competitive games since a 2-0 win in the 1978 World Cup qualification campaign. England haven't experienced a win on Italian soil, even taking friendlies into consideration, since 1961 when a Gerry Hitchens brace and a goal from Jimmy Greaves helped them to a 3-2 friendly win. Both teams come into this game out of sorts and I'm not sure I can separate them. I wouldn't be surprised if they played out a bore draw that emanates a total lack of self confidence from both sides.

    Lyon vs PSG
Lyon will want a better result here after a 2-1 Ligue 1 defeat in their last game at the hands of Monaco. Despite that bad run, they sit in 5th place, being six points behind their upcoming rivals. L’OL hasn’t been able to stop scoring goals, hitting the target in one hundred percent of their last six matches. They’ve hit an aggregate of 14 during that period while seeing the number of goals scored against them stand at 8. Looking at personnel, there is just a single fitness concern for the Lyon boss Peter Bosz to be concerned about, thanks to an otherwise robust squad. Julian Pollersbeck (Knee Surgery) is out of contention.
The defending champions missed the chance to win just one in the opening seven rounds in Ligue 1. They are joint-first with arch-rivals Marseille and the biggest overachiever, Lorient. Over the course of their last six clashes, Paris Saint-Germain has bagged a tally of 17 goals. Paris Saint-Germain has also not failed to score on each one of those occasions. During that period, they have seen three goals go against them. The visitors go to this game after beating Maccabi Haifa on the road in their latest Champions League match. Timothée Pembélé (Cruciate Ligament Injury) and Presnel Kimpembe (Hamstring Injury) will miss out on this game.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
PSG was more successful in their recent head-to-head matches in Lyon, beating the hosts three times on the previous four occasions. They are in better form, and we expect the Parisiens to celebrate another victory.
    Goals Market Prediction
Both teams have been involved in high-scoring matches this season, and this one shouldn’t be an exception. That’s why we believe these two sides will produce at least three goals in total.

    Troyes +1/4 @1.91
Min price to bet: +1/4 @1.83 or dnb @2.15
    Model +value: yes
Significant team news: Experienced dm Gonalons doubt to start for Clermont (but he is in the squad for tomorrow), wng Allevinah out, rb Zeffane also still out; Troyes' first choice rb Balde unavailable due to sickness
Note: Clermont are in mid-table with respectable 10 points after 7 rounds, but they have heavily relied on heroics of their gk Diaw, who has been performing like a man possessed recently; being their clear man of the match in last 3 games (0-0 at Strasbourg, 2-0 win v Toulouse, 1-0 loss at Marseille), and impressing in 1-0 win v Nice earlier this season as well. Theit 5.8 xG is the worst in Ligue 1; same goes for 15.6 xG against (but they conceded only 10, thanks mostly to their hero between the posts), and only toothless Ajaccio have created less big chances. Troyes are no world-beaters, they have 3 points less and are certainly a relegation candidate, but they look like the better side, and we can't really make Clermont favs in this game, it's about 50-50, perhaps with 0.5-1.0% advantage to the hosts, so at current prices we make the visitors a clear bet for tomorrow, in this low-profile Ligue 1 game.

    Milan vs Napoli
Milan is hoping to win again following the 3-1 Champions League success vs Dinamo Zagreb. They booked two straight wins in Serie A and are joint-first with their upcoming opponents. In their preceding six games, Stefano Pioli's Milan has seen rewards for their attempts on goal a combined total of 11 times resulting in an average number of goals scored per match of 1.83. Ahead of this meeting, Milan is unbeaten in their previous 11 home league matches. It's been impressive. Ante Rebic (Back trouble), Divock Origi (Inflammation), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Knee Surgery), and Alessandro Florenzi (Hamstring Injury) are unavailable for AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli. Rafael Leão is ineligible for this match because of suspension.
Napoli heads into the meeting after a 0-3 Champions League win vs Rangers in their last game. The visitors enjoy another great start of the campaign, being undefeated in the first six games of the Serie A. A run of accomplished showings by the Napoli defensive players has resulted in the number of goals they’ve conceded, standing at three from their previous six outings in total. In that period, the number of goals that they have scored themselves is 11. Napoli is about to face the defending champions away from home, and if they grab all three points, they will climb to the top of the table.

Both teams have been playing well since the start of the season, and this game can easily go either way. We won’t be surprised if they split points at Stadio San Siro on Sunday evening.
    Goals Market Prediction
It is the clash of the two most efficient teams in Serie A, and we expect them to score some goals on Sunday evening. Therefore, the crowd should see both sides finding the back of the opponent’s net.

    Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid
Atlético Madrid will be hoping for a better result following a 2-0 Champions League defeat in their last game at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen. They have been in slightly better form in La Liga, picking up seven points from the previous three games. Los Colchoneros are now 7th with ten points, five less than their rivals. It has not been often in recent times that Atlético Madrid has kept a clean sheet. It will be a concern for them that Atlético Madrid has seen their defense breached in 5 of their previous six games, leaking seven goals during that time. The Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone has a full complement, with no fitness worries to speak of, coming into this match with a completely healthy group available for selection.
Real Madrid comes into this game following a 2-0 Champions League win versus RB Leipzig in their previous fixture. Los Blancos have been perfect in La Liga so far, booking all five victories. Over the course of their last six clashes, Real Madrid has bagged the sum of 18 goals. They have additionally got on the scoresheet on each one of those occasions. During that period, their defenders have seen four goals go into their own net. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has some current player fitness concerns. Éder Militão (Hamstring Injury) and Karim Benzema (Muscle Injury) are not ready for selection.
    Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction
Atletico Madrid hasn’t been very impressive so far this season, and the visitors might take advantage of that. We expect Real Madrid to come on top of their rivals and pick up all three points from this derby match.
    Goals Market Prediction
The crowd couldn’t enjoy many goals in their recent clashes since the previous seven stayed under a 2.5 margin. It should be another tight clash with no more than two goals in total.

    Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig
Gladbach enters this match coming off the back of a 0-0 Bundesliga drawn game against Freiburg. Although the hosts have suffered just one defeat so far in the season, they sit in eighth place. In their preceding six games, Daniel Farke's Borussia Mönchengladbach have scored a combined total of 7 times, giving them an average number of goals scored per match equal to 1.17. Borussia Monchengladbach has been pretty tough to crack in the back, but their finishing should improve. Florian Neuhaus (Partial damage to the cruciate ligament), Nico Elvedi (Overstretching), and Tony Jantschke (Torn Ankle Ligament) aren't available for Gladbach boss Daniel Farke.
Previously, RB Leipzig lost 2-0 in the Champions League match against Real Madrid. The Red Bulls booked only two wins so far in Bundesliga, and they are one point behind their upcoming rival. Proving their fondness for action-packed encounters, goals have been seen as many as 25 times in the previous six games in which RB Leipzig has played, making it a mean average of 4.17 goals each clash. Opposition teams have hit 10 of this grand total. The visitors need to stabilize their form to return to the top-four race. Florian Neuhaus (Partial damage to the cruciate ligament), Alassane Plea (Pulled hamstring at the adductors), Ko Itakura (Ruptured intraarticular ligament initiation in the knee), Nico Elvedi (Overstretching), and Tony Jantschke (Torn Ankle Ligament) aren't available for Gladbach boss Daniel Farke.

Neither team has been impressive lately, and this game can easily go either way. Therefore, we won't be surprised if we see these two sides splitting points on Saturday evening.
    Goals Market Prediction
Their head-to-head clashes have been pretty entertaining lately, and six out of the last seven went over a 2.5 margin. Although the hosts have been tight in the back, we think both teams will manage to find the back of the opponent's net.

    Brentford vs Arsenal
The Premier League games are working at a reduced schedule on Sunday due to postponements because of policing issues but there are still two games going ahead with the first kicking off at 12pm BST when rivals Brentford and Arsenal go toe-to-toe at the Brentford Community Stadium. Both teams are enjoying positive starts to the season and were involved in two memorable encounters last season so will we see another epic battle here?
Brentford appear to have proved that they are now an established top flight club with Thomas Frank's side currently in 9th place with just 1 loss from their opening 6 league matches. The combination of a disciplined defence, fluid midfield, and Ivan Toney still banging in the goals at this level (congratulations to him on his overdue England call-up!) has led to the Bees silencing any individuals that suspected second season syndrome could set in. The team have only lost 1 of their last 17 home league London derby matches. Interestingly, only Manchester City have scored more league goals than Brentford this season with their 2.5 goals scored per game far better than the 1.3 goals scored per game of last season. Crazy to think that they appear to be creating more chances since Christian Eriksen left the club!
Arsenal may have been knocked off the top of the league table after the wins earned by Manchester City and Tottenham but Mikel Arteta's men can return to the summit with a victory here. The Gunners have won 5 of their opening 6 league games and they can be confident heading into this fixture having won 5 of their last 8 away league games against teams from London. There is an opportunity for the team to win three consecutive London derbies for the first time since 2015. It's also intriguing to see that each of the club's last 10 league goals scored have been scored with the left foot of a player. It is going to be interesting to see how Arsenal react after that disappointing 3-1 loss away to Manchester United. Yes, it was a gut-wrenching result but it was far from a bad performance.
I've said it all season but it feels like Arsenal are stepping it up a level this season and even though they suffered a first league defeat of the season last time out it was just one of those games that can happen to teams. Brentford are free-flowing this season but they have dropped points in 4 of their 6 league games. Admittedly, they look class at home and we all know what happened here in this fixture just over a year ago. I think this Arsenal team is stronger but in terms of quality and mentality now though and anything less than a win will feel like an under-performance.

I'd make us favourites against Fulham. The Bournemouth result was very disappointing but we've shown enough glimpses of what we can do to give fans some hope! It was always going to take a while to integrate so many new players. The break since the last game will have done us the world of good and given Cooper the chance to work his magic on the training ground.
