StefanBB
Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig Gladbach enters this match coming off the back of a 0-0 Bundesliga drawn game against Freiburg. Although the hosts have suffered just one defeat so far in the season, they sit in eighth place. In their preceding six games, Daniel Farke's Borussia Mönchengladbach have scored a combined total of 7 times, giving them an average number of goals scored per match equal to 1.17. Borussia Monchengladbach has been pretty tough to crack in the back, but their finishing should improve. Florian Neuhaus (Partial damage to the cruciate ligament), Nico Elvedi (Overstretching), and Tony Jantschke (Torn Ankle Ligament) aren't available for Gladbach boss Daniel Farke. Previously, RB Leipzig lost 2-0 in the Champions League match against Real Madrid. The Red Bulls booked only two wins so far in Bundesliga, and they are one point behind their upcoming rival. Proving their fondness for action-packed encounters, goals have been seen as many as 25 times in the previous six games in which RB Leipzig has played, making it a mean average of 4.17 goals each clash. Opposition teams have hit 10 of this grand total. The visitors need to stabilize their form to return to the top-four race. Florian Neuhaus (Partial damage to the cruciate ligament), Alassane Plea (Pulled hamstring at the adductors), Ko Itakura (Ruptured intraarticular ligament initiation in the knee), Nico Elvedi (Overstretching), and Tony Jantschke (Torn Ankle Ligament) aren't available for Gladbach boss Daniel Farke. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction Neither team has been impressive lately, and this game can easily go either way. Therefore, we won't be surprised if we see these two sides splitting points on Saturday evening. Goals Market Prediction Their head-to-head clashes have been pretty entertaining lately, and six out of the last seven went over a 2.5 margin. Although the hosts have been tight in the back, we think both teams will manage to find the back of the opponent's net. StevieDay1983
Hoffenheim vs Freiburg The reduced schedule in the Premier League this weekend allows me time to fit in a cheeky preview of a Bundesliga I game and what better team to focus on than a side that delivered for us last week as Freiburg visit Hoffenheim in this 6:30pm BST kick-off on Sunday evening from the Rhein-Neckar-Arena in Sinsheim. Both teams are enjoying positive starts to their league campaigns but something has to give here. Hoffenheim could not have hoped for a much better start to their league season with the club in 5th place having won 4 of their 6 league games so far. Head coach Andre Breitenreiter will have been delighted to see his team bounce back from the courageous 1-0 loss away to Borussia Dortmund with a convincing 4-1 win at home to Mainz 05. The team have won all three of their home league games so far this season by an aggregate score of 8-3. The fact that their 14 goals scored in all competitions have come from 9 different scorers shows that they have attacking threats all over the pitch with the team scoring an average of 2 goals per game. It's fair to say that playing on the front foot is a major contributing factor to Die Kraichgauer having their best chance of a top four finish since 2017/18. Freiburg are enjoying their best start to a top flight campaign ever. Head coach Christian Streich did us a solid last week by getting his team to grind out a 0-0 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach to see both our bets come in. The Breisgau Brazilians are in 3rd position in the league with just 1 loss from their opening 6 league matches. The club have also been fighting a valiant campaign in the Europa League winning both of their group stage games against FK Qarabag and Olympiakos. It's now 4 league games unbeaten for the team with three of those matches producing clean sheets. The team have also won each of their 3 away league games by an aggregate score of 8-2 so they don't fear travelling to other venues for their games. This is a cracking way to end the club action in German football before the international break. Two teams loving life at the top end of the top division going hammer and tong for the win. Both teams basing their play on free-flowing football. I just think the decisive aspect here could be that Hoffenheim haven't played since last weekend where as Freiburg have had to deal with a tough trip to Greece in Europe. The fresh legs of the home team could give them the advantage for the win. Freiburg won't lie down easily though.
